God Will Make A Way

Daily Devotion
God Will Make a Way
Joyce Meyer

White flowers sitting on an open Bible ready for reading a daily devotional.
Adapted from My Time with God

And I will make all My mountains a way, and My highways will be raised up.

 Isaiah 49:11 (AMPC)

The prophet Isaiah told the people that their mountains would be made low, the crooked places would be made straight, and the rough places a smooth, flat area (see Isaiah 40:4). Do you have any mountains that you are facing right now? I have had many in my life, and I am sure you have also.

Through trusting God and watching Him work in your life, you can expect those mountains to be flattened and actually become a road for you to travel on in your journey of life. The problems I had, and conquered with God’s help, actually became the basis for a lot of the messages I share with people now. Once you defeat a problem, you have experience that can be a benefit to others who might be going through what you once struggled with.

I want to encourage you to declare God’s Word to the mountains in your life and expect them to become highways for you to safely travel on.

Prayer of the Day: Father, thank You for granting me grace to never back down from any mountain because You are with me, and with Your help, I can conquer mountains and see them become highways.

Quote Of The Day - If You Are Discouraged

Food for thought.

God Bless.

Quote of the Day – Mother Teresa

If you are discouraged it is a sign of pride, because it shows you trust in your own powers. Never bother about other people’s opinions. Be humble and you will never be disturbed. Remember St. Aloysius, who said he would continue to play billiards even if he knew he was going to die. Do you play well? Sleep well? Eat well? These are duties. Nothing is small for God.

You Can't Please Everybody

Amen to this!

God Bless.

You can't please everybody Have you realized that there are some people you can't please? No matter what you do or what you try or how nice you are to them. You just can't please everybody. But the Bible tells says you don't need to please everybody. "It is dangerous to be concerned with what others think of you." (Proverbs 29:25 LB) It is an emotional trap when you start worrying about what other people think. Jesus said, "I only seek to please Him who sent me." (John 5:30 LB) Even Jesus didn't try to please everybody. One person wants it to rain; another doesn't want it to rain. Even God can't please everybody. Only a fool would try to do what even God can't do. I meet Christians all the time who live with someone who makes life crazy. They say, "I try and try to make peace with this person, but I fail and I feel so guilty." The fact is, it may not be your fault. It may be the person you're trying to make peace with is just flat out difficult. Give that person to God and then focus on pleasing God.

God Says You’re Forgivable

Food for thought.

God Bless.

God Says You're Forgivable

When something starts going wrong in your life, do you automatically think, "God's getting even with me, I know it! I did that thing I'm ashamed of yesterday (or last year or twenty years ago) and now he's settling the score."

Does God really treat his children that way? Absolutely not! Isaiah says God doesn't hold our sins against us. Once we've confessed our sins to him, it's all forgiven and forgotten and he doesn't even bring up the past. If you're a Christian, pay close attention to Ephesians 1:4-5: "Even before the world was made, God had already chosen us to be his through our union with Christ, so that we would be holy and without fault before him. Because of his love God had already decided that through Jesus Christ he would make us his children - this was his pleasure and purpose." (TEV)

Do you realize that when God looks at you, he sees you through Jesus Christ? When Jesus died on the cross, he paid for all of your sins so you are forgiven and they are forgotten. That's why becoming a Christian is such GOOD NEWS. I give Jesus my life and he takes it, forgives me and then gives me a new chance. He says, "Now I see you without a single fault. You stand before me covered with my love."

Joyce Meyer Quotes
Quote of the day by Joyce Meyer

“Take some bold steps of faith…

Quote of the Day -Joyce Meyer

“Take some bold steps of faith and change anything the Lord leads you to change. If what you are doing with your time is not bearing good fruit, make a change. If you are not getting enough rest, make a change. If you are not disciplining your children and their behavior is causing you a lot of stress, make a change. If you are bored, make a change. If your friends are taking advantage of you, make a change! Stress can be relieved if you’re not afraid to make changes.”

As For The Rest

This...leaving it right here.

God Bless.

As for the rest of you, dear brothers and sisters, never get tired of doing good. (NLT) -2 Thessalonians 3:13

Doing good and right things can be hard and is not always easy. We must think clearly about the right reactions to have and the right actions to take. We must have courage to do good and bring light into others. If we aren't careful we can easily tire, so be mindful. Nevertheless, challenge yourself to do one good thing for someone else today.

And Being Made Pefect

Thank You, Lord.

Be encouraged.

God Bless.

Bible Name of God : Author of Eternal Salvation

Author of Eternal Salvation

“And being made perfect, He became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey Him.” Hebrews 5:9

Christ was perfected through suffering. He was obedient unto death, even the death of the cross, and through the hard, cruel, sacrificial journey which He made to the cross-suffering beyond the power of thought to comprehend, He perfected a way by which men could be saved. When He bore our sin on the cross, the unchanging law of God was in operation, and He suffered separation from God. There was but one way by which sinful men could be made righteous, and that was by the Savior’s taking our place, which He did, and now His obedient followers share with Him the glory.

In every time of testing, sorrow or suffering, may we look to Thee, our eternal salvation, and find the promised comfort and help. Amen.

Loyalty And Kindness

More kindness!

God Bless.

Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart. (NLT) -Proverbs 3:3

Kindness is what it looks like to to be a Christ follower. You should stand out in your workplace and community as a kind person. Kindness should color your every interaction, from checking out at the grocery store to how you address your spouse. Let kindness define your actions today.

Agree With Sender

Encouragement!!!!

God Bless.

Agree with the Sender

The DOTK Family

“Faithful and absolutely trustworthy is He who is calling you [to Himself for your salvation], and He will do it [He will fulfill His call by making you holy, guarding you, watching over you, and protecting you as His own].” 1 Thessalonians 5:24, Amplified Bible

God cannot and He will not let the enemy have the last laugh where you are concerned. Just as destruction came to your doorstep, God’s victory is being delivered in much larger and greater packages, and all you have to do is sign. All you have to do is agree with the message that is being delivered to you by God. Agree with the Sender. Agree that your Heavenly Father is too good and He loves you too much to let your pain outweigh His glorious plans for your life.

Your High Calling

I found this little devotional interesting and wanted to share.

God Bless.

Your High Calling
Today : Your High Calling

TODAY’S VERSE
“Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ.” Ephesians 5:1-2 (NLT)

TODAY’S MESSAGE
We search for purpose and significance. We strive to secure a meaningful job or vocation. But in reality, there is no higher calling on earth than being God’s child and imitating Him by living a life filled with love. This is the ultimate purpose that God has called each one of us to. Today, do what Paul says to do. Fill your day with the love of Christ and follow His example in everything you do.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, I thank You that You have made me Your child. I thank You that You have given me the most important job on earth, which is to live a life filled with love. I admit I can’t do this without You. I need Your Holy Spirit to help me live a life of love today. In Jesus’ name.
AMEN

TODAY’VISUALIZATION & MEDITIATION
I will imitate Christ
Picture yourself following Jesus around. He has asked you to. He said to be like Him and you can sense His Holy Spirit helping you. See yourself full of joy and wonder as He guides you, gives you instruction and helps you live for Him. Affirm today, “I will imitate Christ!”

Here I Am

Some food for thought.

God Bless.

Here Am I
Today : Here Am I

TODAY’S VERSE
“Jesus traveled through all the towns and villages of that area, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. He said to his disciples, ‘The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.’” Matthew 9:35-38 (NLT)

TODAY’S MESSAGE
Matthew gives us a glimpse into the ministry of Jesus. He heals a paralyzed man, raises a dead girl and gives sight to two men. He is exhausted feeling cramped in by all the throngs of people coming to Him for help. And yet, after all this, Jesus goes from town to town teaching, preaching and healing every disease and sickness. But then there is a dramatic shift in strategy – Jesus sees all the people harassed, helpless and needing help and then tells His disciples to pray that God would send you and I to help Him do His work. I wonder if we see the significance of Jesus’ request? He is saying that He did not come here to help and heal everyone by Himself. He came to redeem mankind, begin the process of helping mankind find the way, truth and life and then commissions you and I to take His power and ministry to the rest of the world. He has empowered you and I to aid Him in bringing His message of salvation and healing to a desperate world. The world where you and I live out our existence. Might our response be like Isaiah when he wrote, “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!’”

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Lord, I thank You for Your tireless mission of love that reached out to me. Today, I hear Your voice saying, “Whom shall I send? Who will go?” How else can I respond to Your love but say, “Lord Jesus, I want to join You in Your work. Here am I. Send me!”
AMEN

TODAY’VISUALIZATION & MEDITIATION
I will serve God
Today picture Jesus after a long hard day of ministry finding you on the road as He is going to retire for the evening. He is looking for others to join Him in ministry and He looks at you and says, “Will you live for me? Will you serve others and love them as I do?” Feel the seriousness of what Jesus is asking. Let His call build up in your heart and then say, “Jesus, here I am, I will serve you!”
