Quote Of The Day - I Can Tell

Amen!

God Bless.

Quote of the Day -Joyce Meyer

I can tell you from experience that God’s help and presence in our lives is vital. He is the Author of all true success and everything that is good-without Him, we can do nothing of true value.

I Have Set The Lord

Something to think about.

God Bless.

"I have set the LORD always before me: because [he is] at my right hand, I will not be moved."(Psalms 16:8)

David declares that he put the Lord in front of him always. Where are you in relation to God? Do you think of Him when you are about to choose an outfit? Or when you choose education, either for yourself or your children? Is He the first person you strive to please with your employment? Because David knew that God was always near to him, he did not worry about being defeated. He was safe as long as the Lord was at the forefront of his life.Turn away from all the things that seek to steal that position that only God should have.

Adoption

Food for thought.

God Bless

Adoption paints a powerful picture of salvation. God willfully chose us, paid the sum of His own life, and made us joint-heirs with His Son.To seal this for us, God has put His own Spirit in our hearts. With the Holy Spirit, we are free from the entrapment of sin.Whether you have experienced a physical or spiritual adoption, realize the amazing promise that God gives us through the Spirit and His Word. We are no longer slaves but 'sons'.Through the Spirit of Sonship and adoption, embrace a new Father: Abba - God the Father, our Father!

Inspire Me - Lot's Wife

Something to think about.

God Bless

Today's Quotation:

And Lot's wife, of course, was told not to look back where all those people and their homes had been. But she did look back, and I love her for that, because it was so human. So she was turned into a pillar of salt. So it goes.

Kurt Vonnegut

Today's Meditation:

We need not be familiar with the Biblical story of Lot's wife to understand the feelings she surely was feeling. The human condition is that of frailty and failure; we are by definition imperfect beings. But that does not mean that we cannot strive to become better.

In life, I have failed others and myself time and time again. I have hurt others with my words; I have ignored their pain and suffering; I have created misery and difficulties for them and for myself. Yet regardless of whether or not it was intentional, that does not have to define who I am now.

We will encounter failures in life. And there will be times in which we will let ourselves and others down, knowingly or unknowingly, for that is part of our humanity. But it is also within each of us to succeed--to rise above our failures and shortcomings and become something righteous and divine.

Today's Challenge: Accept your failures and flaws today and try to rise above them.

Questions to consider:

What is the worst that can happen to you if you take a certain action? Is that worst thing really all that bad?

Are you able to fail without worrying about how others will see you? Are you able to do so without worrying about how you will see yourself?

Think of someone you know who has took a great risk to become something greater than his or her former self. What have they gained? What failures did they have to overcome?

For further thought:

You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.

Have You Ever Said

A deep thinking little devotional below.

Be encouraged.

God Bless.

Have you ever said something in the heat of the moment and later wished you could take it back? I know I have. Our words can build up or tear down, and Proverbs 18:21 reminds us of the power they hold.

I remember a time when a harsh word caused a misunderstanding between me and a friend. It wasn’t until I apologized and asked for forgiveness that our relationship healed.

The Bible tells us that our words have the power to either bring life or bring death to situations and relationships. This is why it’s so important to speak with love, kindness, and wisdom. It can be easy to let frustration guide our speech, but when we speak with the heart of Christ, we bring healing and peace instead of division.

Today, take a moment to think before you speak. If you feel frustration rising, take a deep breath and choose your words wisely. Ask God to help you speak life into the situations and people around you.

Prayer:

Lord, help me to use my words wisely today. May I speak life and encouragement to those around me, reflecting Your love in all that I say. Amen.

God Made Both

Found this thought provoking.

God Bless.

Daily Wisdom Bible Study

Chronological Bible Study from the book of Proverbs

by Christian Channel

God Made Both Rich and Poor in His Image – (Proverbs 22:2)

God Made Both Rich and Poor in His Image – (Proverbs 22:2)

Daily Proverbs

The rich and the poor have this in common, the Lord is the maker of them all.

Daily Bible Study

God is the creator of all people, both rich and poor! This means all people are important in the eyes of Jesus, because we were all made in the image of God. When we have a large amount of wealth we can forget it's God who brought the blessings. And because of that we can sin by believing that we're somehow special or better than others. In addition, our wealth can cause others to sin as they show favoritism. People will show special favor to those who have wealth in order to receive any sort of compensation for their favoritism. Why is this sin? Because both the poor and the rich are equally God's creation, both are made in the image of God and both are equal in the eyes of God. Moreover, all followers of Christ are called to use our time, talents and resources to help those in need and further the spread of the Gospel of Christ.

This means all people rich and poor have an equal responsibility to help others in whatever ministry God has called them to. This includes the simplest of things such as friendship and exhortation. This also includes the feeding and clothing of those who are without and in need. And most importantly spreading the Good News of salvation through faith alone in Jesus alone. And lastly, while being wealthy is not a sin, we can sin when we have wealth. We do so when we covet more wealth and become greedy, failing to remember God has blessed us so we can bless others through our wealth. God never meant to give us blessings in order that we keep them only to ourselves. And while there is nothing wrong with wealth, it's really a matter of the heart and how we view it and how we use it in light of our faith in Christ. Therefore, every person must remember all people will give an account to the Lord, for what we did with what He gave us and how we used the time, talents and resources He provided to us.

Quote Of The Day - I Begin My Day

Shots

Love this!

God Bless

Today's Quotation:

You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

Wayne Gretzky

Today's Meditation:

When faced with the potential outcome of failure, often times we choose inactivity instead of taking the risk. Especially when our action seems all but sure to result in difficulties and failure, it generally seems a lot more appealing to not take the risk and play it safe. But accepting the status quo will not lead us to growth or success. And as the great Wayne Gretzky says, "we miss 100% of the shots we do not take."

There are multitudes of safe risks in our lives that will offer us growth and success. And perhaps they will bring difficulties into our lives. However, without the difficulties and unhappiness, we would never grow beyond the seedlings we are today; nor would we be able to experience the contrasting emotions of joy and happiness.

We all have ambitions in life. And if we want to realize them, and live our lives to the fullest, we will have to take chances and make calculated risks. Start that exercise routine you have been thinking about; work towards receiving a college degree; take control of your debt; talk to a loved one about their destructive actions; choose be be more compassionate and caring. Success is here waiting for us to realize it... and life is here waiting for us to live it to the fullest.

Today's Challenge: Take a chance today on something that, although you may be hesitant about, is positive for you.

Questions to consider:

What kinds of "shots" might you take today if you felt like doing so?

Do you make any of your choices based on the idea of staying safe, or on not changing the way things are?

How many things have you recently thought of doing that you have taken no action on? Why have you taken no action?

For further thought:

Live your truth. Express your love. Share your enthusiasm. Take action towards your dreams. Walk your talk. Dance and sing to your music. Embrace your blessings. Make today worth remembering.

The One And Only

Food for thought.

God Bless.

The One and Only

We search for the right college, career, house or wife. When we find the right one, we know. The excitement of a discovery can make us shout, “This is the one!” But of all the decisions we make in a lifetime, nothing is as exciting as deciding to follow Jesus Christ. That choice is different from any other decision we will ever make; Jesus is not one of many options, he is the only option if we want to have a life of abundance and freedom. If Jesus is the One, nothing else can make that claim. We can’t trust our ultimate security and well-being to a company, career, government, or even a wife. Our ultimate allegiance must belong to Jesus alone.

REFLECT & PRAY:
*Review your most important relationships — with your company, your friends, your church. Has your allegiance to any of them surpassed your allegiance to Jesus Christ?

*Why must your ultimate allegiance be to Jesus?

*What steps can you take to return your ultimate allegiance to Jesus?

Jesus Paid For Sin

Leaving it right here.

God Bless.

Jesus Paid for Sin to give us Forgiveness and Righteousness

For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21 (ESV).

Jesus’ declaration, “It is finished,” means that the debt of sin has been paid in full. On the cross, He took our sin upon Himself so that we could be forgiven and made right with God. This is the essence of grace: Jesus paid the price, and we are set free. We are no longer bound by our sin or guilt. Instead, we are declared righteous and invited into a personal relationship with God.

Do you sometimes feel like you need to “earn” God’s forgiveness? How does Jesus’ finished work change that mindset?

Prayer: Father God, Thank You for the forgiveness and righteousness that are mine through Christ. I no longer have to strive to earn Your love because Jesus has already paid the full price. Help me to live in the freedom of knowing that my debt is paid and I am made righteous by His finished work. In Jesus name, Amen.
