The Sacrifices
This thing called Christianity is an on going thing and there are times when you come across something thought provoking as this little devotional is.
I wanted to pass it along.
God Bless.
The sacrifices the Jewish priests preformed were never finished because their sacrifices could not take away people’s sin, only Christ’s physical sacrifice of Himself, the “spotless lamb” could do this once and for all! When we accept Jesus’ free gift of salvation, we are completely right with God because of the once and for all sacrifice Jesus made on our behalf. We must remember that our good works do not save us but rather Jesus’ shed blood on the cross. Though we are perfect in God’s sight because of what Jesus did on the cross, that doesn’t mean we don’t continue to struggle with sins in our lives. We will always be a work in progress until we see Jesus face to face. Don’t get discourage if you feel like you still have so much to learn and so many areas of your life that you need to change in order to live more like Christ.
Remember that daily God is working in your life, molding you and shaping you….we are ALL in the process of being made holy, none of us have arrived. That’s why God gives us grace, our salvation is not based on our works but on what Jesus has already done on our behalf. How we live our lives and our obedience to Him is a reflection of our love for Him.

And Now Shall My Head
Our eyes and heart must forever be on the One who was willing to die for us and may this little devotional help do just that.
God Bless.
And now shall my head be lifted up above my enemies round about me; in His tent I will offer sacrifices and shouting of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.
—Psalm 27:6
The psalmist David said that the thing he wanted most was to be with God and to dwell in His presence all the days of his life (See Psalm 27:4). David loved God for who He is, not just for what He did for him.
The Word says that if we abide in the presence of God, He will defeat our enemies, and hide us in the day of trouble (See v.5). God’s attention is on us, but we must keep our attention on Him to enjoy the fullness of His presence in our lives. We must invite God to be involved in everything we do, and then remember to praise Him for His goodness.

Love Written In Red
This is a thought provoking little devotional. May you find something you can take a hold onto that will bring you love, peace, and joy.
Love Written in Red
God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
- John 3:16, NKJV
For God so loved you that He gave His Son, His only Son, the Son Whom He loved – He gave heaven’s most precious Treasure – He gave everything He had – in order to offer you eternal life.
Do you doubt the love of God? Why? Because of the bad things that He allows to happen to good people? Because of the unfairness and injustice and unkindness and misery and suffering and pain and cruelty of life? Some questions we won’t have answers for until we get to heaven. But one thing we can know for sure is that God loves you and me. How do we know that? We know it by just looking at the cross where He proved His love for the world that mocks Him and ignores Him and despises Him and scorns Him and rejects Him.
We look at the cross and see “I love you” written in red – the red of Christ’s blood.
