He That Spared

I love this little devotional and I want it to sink into my being.

There is nothing He won't do for us.

God Bless.

He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Inspiration

How could God be any more generous to us? He sent His only son to earth to die for us so that we could reside with Him in heaven for eternity. He created us in His image and if we ask anything of Him, He shall always listen. If He was willing to give His only son as a sacrifice, what do you think He would refuse to give us? Nothing.

Prayer

You have given me everything, generous and loving Lord, and I can only give You that which You already have. I vow to give You all of my life's energy, blessed Father, and love You with all of my heart and strength. I ask forgiveness for the many moments of selfishness in my life, where I thought not of You but thought only of myself. You have never done this to me, but I have done it to You. As Your humble child, I repent at Your feet. I am kneeling, Lord. Please lift me up. Amen.

You Are Good

I want this prayer to become life for me and I wouldn't be a good Christian if I didn’t share the wealth. May you find encouragement in the word's below.

God Bless.

God, You are good, and Your steadfast love endures forever! Even in the hardest seasons, I always have a reason to worship You.

Thank You for giving me victory and abundant life in Jesus Christ! Although I don’t deserve it, You shower me with unconditional love and forgiveness.

And so no matter what the future may hold, I will shout for joy because You are with me. You comfort me and bless me in the presence of my enemies. Nothing compares to You and no weapon can stand against You. In all things, I am more than a conqueror through You!

Be glorified through me, God. Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart bless Your name.

I want my life to bring You praise.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A Good Reputation

Something we should all strive for.

God Bless.

A Good Reputation

Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation. (NLT) -Hebrews 11:2

What do your neighbors say about you? Are you viewed as a person whose word is as good as gold? How valuable is your handshake? It is important to note a direct result of being faithful to God is the gift of a good reputation. When you are faithful to God it correlates that you are faithful to other people as well. Be careful though, it's easy to take pride in your reputation.

The Importance Of Hope

Amen.

God Bless.

The Importance of Hope

Let us hold fast our confession without wavering.

Most Christians have heard much preaching about faith and love, but, in many cases, they have heard comparatively little about hope. Such was my own condition many years ago when I was in desperate need of help from God. I had heard many messages on faith and some preaching on love; but what I needed in that particular situation was hope, and the Holy Spirit had to take me directly to the Scripture because I had never heard a sermon about hope. It was there that the Holy Spirit met my need. For this reason, I am particularly concerned that people understand the importance of hope. I want you to grasp what hope is, how important it is, and how you may have it. Hope is necessary if we are to maintain both faith and love. Unless we have hope, our faith will “leak out” and our love will fail. Hope is not optional; it is essential to the fullness of the Christian life. People often say, “Where there’s life, there’s hope.” I think there is a good deal of truth in that statement. But the opposite is also true: Where there’s hope, there’s life—and where there is no hope, there is no life. In my opinion, hopelessness is one of the saddest conditions in human experience. I can hardly think of anything sadder than being hopeless. Yet, countless people in our world today are completely hopeless. When I am sitting in an airport, taking a walk, or dining in a restaurant, and I look at the faces of other people, I find that many of them have a blank stare of hopelessness. But, thank God, we do not need to be hopeless. Thank You, Lord, that You are faithful—You give me hope. I proclaim that where there is hope, there is life. I shall hold fast my confession without wavering. Amen.

Quote Of The Day - The Only Answer

Amen.

God Bless.

Quote of the Day -Joyce Meyer

The only answer to fear is faith in God, knowing He loves you unconditionally and individually.

– Joyce Meyer

Let Peace Rule

Not only is this the season for peace because of the birth of the Peace Maker Himself, but what is taking place in the world today.

We must live a life of peace for people are looking for answers and the only answer we can give them is to point the to the Great I Am.

God Bless.

Let Peace Rule

And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. (NLT) -Colossians 3:15
.

Invite God’s peace to rule your heart! As this year comes to an end, take time to  reflect on the many gifts God has given you. Allow your heart be encouraged with the truth that God is a good God. Pause to thank God for sending his Son to die for you. Be reminded no matter what your circumstance you can live with peace because of Jesus.

The Sacrifices

This thing called Christianity is an on going thing and there are times when you come across something thought provoking as this little devotional is.

I wanted to pass it along.

God Bless.

The sacrifices the Jewish priests preformed were never finished because their sacrifices could not take away people’s sin, only Christ’s physical sacrifice of Himself, the “spotless lamb” could do this once and for all! When we accept Jesus’ free gift of salvation, we are completely right with God because of the once and for all sacrifice Jesus made on our behalf. We must remember that our good works do not save us but rather Jesus’ shed blood on the cross. Though we are perfect in God’s sight because of what Jesus did on the cross, that doesn’t mean we don’t continue to struggle with sins in our lives. We will always be a work in progress until we see Jesus face to face. Don’t get discourage if you feel like you still have so much to learn and so many areas of your life that you need to change in order to live more like Christ.

Remember that daily God is working in your life, molding you and shaping you….we are ALL in the process of being made holy, none of us have arrived. That’s why God gives us grace, our salvation is not based on our works but on what Jesus has already done on our behalf. How we live our lives and our obedience to Him is a reflection of our love for Him.

And Now Shall My Head

Our eyes and heart must forever be on the One who was willing to die for us and may this little devotional help do just that.

God Bless.

And now shall my head be lifted up above my enemies round about me; in His tent I will offer sacrifices and shouting of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.
—Psalm 27:6

The psalmist David said that the thing he wanted most was to be with God and to dwell in His presence all the days of his life (See Psalm 27:4). David loved God for who He is, not just for what He did for him.

The Word says that if we abide in the presence of God, He will defeat our enemies, and hide us in the day of trouble (See v.5). God’s attention is on us, but we must keep our attention on Him to enjoy the fullness of His presence in our lives. We must invite God to be involved in everything we do, and then remember to praise Him for His goodness.

A Powerful Way

Thought provoking little devotional about prayer.

God Bless.

A powerful way to make sure that your spirit is growing into the most robust part of your inner man is to pray without ceasing. I did not say whine without ceasing - I said pray without ceasing.

So many Christians spend their whole lives whining and complaining to the Lord and then they wonder why their prayers are never answered! When you pray, pray with joy! When you pray, come into His presence boldly and with power! When you pray, leave your emotional soul at the door and take your well-fed spirit into the Throne Room and bask in His wonderful presence! God loves you when you whine ... but when you join your spirit with His Spirit in a grand symphony of praise that is the moment that heaven and earth begin to move on your behalf.

As Christians, we are not a people group who limits our singing and rejoicing to sunny skies and magnificent circumstances, but we are determined to pray with joy even when our lives are falling apart. It is part of our DNA to come into His presence with thanksgiving regardless of awaits us outside the door of His presence. The three Hebrew boys worshipped in the fiery furnace! Paul and Silas sang at the midnight hour in prison!

Stephen worshipped as he was being stoned! Hannah worshipped when she was not yet pregnant! Join the throng of believers from every generation in history who has chosen to pray with joy.

Be Specific

We need to be more specific in our prayers and when we pray them believe we received the answers to them

God Bless.

"And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you." (NLT) -Luke 11:9

The power of persistent prayer is incredible. Strength rises up in your voice as you continuously seek God's answer to your prayers. Rest assured that He will always answer: through fulfillment of your prayer, a firm "no," or by guiding your heart in a different direction, causing you to no longer seek the answer to that prayer. Go ahead and pray a specific prayer daily.

Praise

When in doubt, praise. When you are in trouble, praise. Because He loves you, and more importantly, He is worthy of praise.

God Bless.

Praise
Let all that I am praise the LORD ; may I never forget the good things he does for me. (NLT) -Psalm 103:2

Take time to thank God for the gift of Jesus. For his sacrifice and love! Let the power of the cross and what it means for your life really settle into your spirit. Let the power of the cross transform your soul. That is the amazing benefit of knowing Jesus.

The Lord Wants To Remind You

Much needed wisdom below. Remember, He will never leave you even if it feels like He has.

God Bless.

"The Lord wants to remind you today that you are never alone. At times you may feel lonely, or as if no one cares about you, but that is not true. God is never more than one thought away. You can be instantly in His presence by simply remembering and believing His promise to be with you everywhere you go.

Take the time to develop the habit of simply reminding yourself that God is with you in all that you do. The more you think about this, the more of a reality it will become to you. God is omnipresent. He is everywhere all the time, and surely He is with each of us. You are not alone—not now, not ever. God is not only with you, but He loves you unconditionally, and He will guide you throughout your life.

Father, thank You for being with me. Help me recognize Your presence as a reality in my life. Thank You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Be Kind

In a world where you can be anything, be kind.

God Bless.

Be Kind

Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you. (NLT) -Ephesians 4:32

God calls his followers to be those that share his love with the world. What does God’s love look like? It looks like each Believer offering a kind response. It looks like tenderness that shows empathy for others circumstances. It is extendings undeserved forgiveness when an offense has been made. It is pointing the world to Jesus through our obedient acts of kindness towards the world around us.

Love Written In Red

This is a thought provoking little devotional. May you find something you can take a hold onto that will bring you love, peace, and joy.

God Bless.

Love Written in Red

God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:16, NKJV

For God so loved you that He gave His Son, His only Son, the Son Whom He loved – He gave heaven’s most precious Treasure – He gave everything He had – in order to offer you eternal life.

Do you doubt the love of God? Why? Because of the bad things that He allows to happen to good people? Because of the unfairness and injustice and unkindness and misery and suffering and pain and cruelty of life? Some questions we won’t have answers for until we get to heaven. But one thing we can know for sure is that God loves you and me. How do we know that? We know it by just looking at the cross where He proved His love for the world that mocks Him and ignores Him and despises Him and scorns Him and rejects Him.

We look at the cross and see “I love you” written in red – the red of Christ’s blood.

Your Word Is A Lamp

He is light in the darkness.

God Bless.

Psalm 119:105-106
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. I have taken an oath and confirmed it, that I will follow your righteous laws.

Lord, I pray that we would remember that You are a light amid the darkness.  Jesus, thank you for enduring the road to the cross and defeating the darkness of sin that overshadowed any hope for us.  Let your Holy Spirit lead us God and press us to engage your Word that it may be coming alive always in our hearts, and clear in our minds.  In the name of Jesus, the name that is above every name, Amen.
