God Gives

This...

God Bless.

Only God Gives Financial Security As you enter your Decade of Destiny, it is important that you trust God with your finances. If you want God to bless you financially, you must remain focused on the truth that he is the source of your finances and he is the one who supplies your needs. What does that mean? It means I'm not looking to an employer for my security. I'm not looking to my savings for security. I'm not looking to anyone or anything other than God to supply my needs. Let me illustrate it this way: When I turn on the water, I don't really think the water comes from the faucet. I know that the water really comes from a reservoir. It just comes to me through the faucet. In the same way, the income that God wants to give you may come through a job or through something else. But the source is God. This means you don't need to worry about which faucet he uses to supply your needs. In a sense he says, "If I turn off one faucet, I can just as easily turn on another. If you lose one job, I can give you another. I am your source, not your job. I am your source, not your bank account.'

That's what God does, makes us new creations. When we think of His goodness towards us, it prompts us to restore and maintain friendly relations with others.

Peace

There is nothing like having the peace of God.

Peace

Submit to God, and you will have peace; then things will go well for you. (NLT) -Job 22:21
Do you ever put your hopes into plans and goals? When things don't work out, you end up grieving over the death of a dream. God wants to give us the desires of our hearts, but we first need to turn them over to Him. Only after submitting to Him can He help you rebuild that dream. Then the fun begins!

The Christ

I found this little devotional interesting and wanted to share.

God Bless.

NAME OF GOD DEVOTIONAL

Name of God

BY CHRISTIAN CHANNEL

Bible Name of God : THE CHRIST, THE SAVIOUR OF THE WORLD

THE CHRIST, THE SAVIOUR OF THE WORLD

And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard [him] ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

The Testimony of one woman brings forth from the lips of many this title, “Christ the Saviour of the world!” For a two days’ revival, Christ tarried in the little city of the Samaritans and there was a blessed first fruitage to His glory. These people, unlike the Jews, asked for no signs, no miracles. They took Him at His Word, just as we must do! When He Speaks, it is God that Speaks. “We have heard Him ourselves.” The need of the world today is the personal experience of believers manifested in a personal devotion to Christ and in personal testimony to a hungry-hearted world.

Oh, Thou Christ, Saviour of the world, baptize us with the Spirit of service for Thee! Amen.

The Gardener

Some food for thought. Be encouraged.

God Bless.

The Gardener

"I am the true grapevine, and my Father is the gardener." (NLT) -John 15:1

Don't we all occasionally feel like we've just had a good pruning? As a gardener, our heavenly Father will mold and shape us to be a beautiful masterpiece. At times it hurts. In the end we are fruitful because of His skillful hands. Stay open to the work God is doing in your life. In which area of your life would you like to be fruitful? Invite the gardener in.

Meet God Every Day

I found this little devotional quite interesting.

Be encouraged.

God Bless.

Meet God Every Day God promises to bless your life if you meet with him every day. We like to call this a "quiet time." I don't care if it's five minutes, ten minutes, thirty minutes, whatever. And it doesn't matter what time of day you do it, just as long as it's a time when you are at your best. You need to set a date with God every day where you say, "God, I'm checking in with you. Anything you want to do in my life today, anything you want to tell me." Just sit there and be quiet. Read the Bible a little bit, talk about whatever is worrying you, unload your burdens, and listen for God's direction.

The Bible says, "The man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it - he will be blessed in what he does." (James 1:25 NIV)

God says if you will do this, he will bless the things in your life. "You have stored up great blessings for those who honor you. You do so much for those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world" (Psalm 31:19 NLT).

DAILY DEVO

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

— Romans 5:8 (NIV)

You Are Loved

Adapted from the resource My Time with God - by Joyce Meyer

God reminded me today of His unconditional love!

It is very important to begin each day knowing that you are loved! God loves you unconditionally, and His love is more valuable and important than anyone else’s. He doesn’t love us because we deserve it, but simply because He wants to.

As you receive God’s love freely, it will give you confidence and enable you to live life without fear. God’s perfect love casts out all fear and dread (see 1 John 4:18).

Perhaps you have known the pain of not being chosen. You were not picked for class president or asked to attend the party that everyone was going to. When we are left out it hurts, but the good news for you today is that God has chosen you! You are special to Him and His love for you will never end.

Prayer of the Day: Thank You, Father, for loving me. I receive Your love by faith today and ask that it will strengthen me.

When Bad Things Happen

Love this...

Be encouraged.

God Bless.

When Bad Things Happen

We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. - Romans 8:28, NIV

Why does God let bad things happen to good people? to innocent people? to children? to me?

Sometimes His ways seem so hard to understand!

In Romans 8:28, Paul wrote to reassure believers who lived in a city dominated by Nero, a madman with absolute power. He wrote encouragingly, “We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

Phrased another way, Paul was reminding the children of God they can be confident that…

all things work together for good,

brokenness leads to blessing,

death leads to life,

and suffering leads to glory!

So when bad things happen, just trust Him!

Made For This

Food for thought. Be encouraged.

God Bless.

Made for This

26 From one man he created all the nations throughout the whole earth. He decided beforehand when they should rise and fall, and he determined their boundaries.
27 “His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any one of us. (NLT) -Acts 17:26-27

Did you realize that the Bible tells us that God predetermined the time and place that you would live? Truly, you are where you are on purpose. The God-who-sees-you determined where and when you would be breathed into life. He has a plan for your life and is not surprised by the twists and turns that rise up in each of our stories. God made you in such a manner so that you “would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him.” Meaning, God has crafted your life in such a way that you would have the best chance of knowing him. What if we examined our circumstances both good and bad from this perspective? God is at work in the good and bad of our lives, hoping that through it all, we would reach out to him and find him.

Integrity

What the world needs now.

Amen and God Bless.

DAILY AFFIRMATION DEVOTIONAL

BY CHRISTIAN CHANNEL
Integrity
Today : Integrity

TODAY’S VERSE

“Joseph was a very handsome and well-built young man, and Potiphar’s wife soon began to look at him lustfully. ‘Come and sleep with me,’ she demanded. But Joseph refused. ‘Look,’ he told her, ‘my master trusts me with everything in his entire household. No one here has more authority than I do. He has held back nothing from me except you, because you are his wife. How could I do such a wicked thing? It would be a great sin against God.”’ Genesis 39:6-9 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT

How do you say “integrity”? This story of Joseph is a wonderful illustration of a person living with morals, faith and self control. Here came a situation that many would find tempting. After all who would report him? Wasn’t he second in command only to Potiphar himself? And wasn’t she a consenting adult? Besides, he knew that she had a wicked temper and the result of refusing her could be perilous. Who could blame him if he gave in to her desires? But his logic and faith were pure. He knew he was trusted and did not want to betray that trust. That was important to him. However, there was more. He told Potiphar’s wife, “How could I do such a wicked thing? It would be a great sin against God.” He saw such a betrayal to Potiphar not only morally reprehensible but as an affront to God. Today we live in a morally bankrupt culture. But God has called us to follow Him. And what He has called us to, He will enable us to do. He has given us His word to guide us and His Holy Spirit to empower us. Yes we sin, but when we repent God forgives us and gives us grace to do better. So today choose how you will live. Determine to follow God. Make it your desire to live out the fruit of the Spirit which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. If we do, God promises that we will not live out the desires of the flesh.

TODAY’S PRAYER

Father, help me to live out the fruit of Your Holy Spirit. Help me to make the right choices today, just like Joseph did in his time. Help me to take the high road and to trust You with the outcome. Guide me and help me live for You. I pray in Jesus’ name.
AMEN

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION & MEDITATION

God helps me live with integrity
Think of an area in your life where you struggle with sin. Today visualize God totally forgiving you and giving you the strength to live with integrity. Picture God coming to you and saying, “Live for me, I will give you strength.” Imagine yourself giving Him your area of temptation and feel Him giving you the willpower to overcome and to live with integrity. Affirm, “God helps me live with integrity.”

Gently And Humbly

This...I am going to just leave this right here.

Be encouraged.

God Bless.

Gently And Humbly

Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself. (NLT) -Galatians 6:1

Each one of us has a God given mission on this earth. Sometimes we stumble and are deterred from this mission because we allow sin to get in the way. Fortunately, we are not alone, God has blessed us with other believers to help us along the way. It is very important we humbly help others when they fall off track. Just think how proud God will be for helping others get back to their mission.

I Had Not

I love this and I found encouragement in the word's written below and I wanted to share the wealth.

Be encouraged.

God Bless.

I Had Not

If I had not confessed the sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened. (NLT) -Psalm 66:18

Have you confessed to God lately? Maybe it's important you confessed about your attitude and less important about your actions. Sin can sometimes be an action based on a false belief or attitude.
Example: "I don't believe God will fulfill my need, therefore I must steal it from my sister." When we sin it creates a distance between us and God. Do you have any recurring sins that are because of a false belief?

God's Always Available

I love this little devotional and I found myself being encouraged from the word's written below.

I wanted to share the wealth.

God Bless.

God’s Always Available

Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know. - Jeremiah 33:3, NKJV

When you approach God through faith in His Son, God is accessible twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, twelve months a year for the rest of your life!

For many years, I have carried a cell phone with me whenever I leave the house. Even when I take my early morning, three-mile walk, I have my cell phone in my pocket. Invariably, when I speak with my children or staff before I go out of town, I remind them that I will have my phone with me. If I’m needed, all they have to do is call me. Yet how many times have I noticed that I have a voice message waiting on my phone because either it was out of the range of a tower, or I had turned it off while flying, or muted it, or left it in that other pocketbook!

Praise God! He is never out of range! He is never turned off or tuned out! His ears are never deaf! He is always available, accessible, and attentive to our call!

How To Be Blessed

Some encouragement and wisdom.

Be encouraged.

God Bless.

How to Be Blessed

"God bless you." It's a phrase you hear all the time. But what does it mean? It's such a vague generality that most people don't have the slightest idea what it means to be blessed by God. A blessing is a sovereign act of God, where he takes someone or something that is normal -- and then he supernaturally produces that which is naturally impossible in order to meet your needs. That's what you pray when you ask God to bless your family. You're saying, "God, I want you to bless every area of my family and meet the needs of each of my family members." I want you to be blessed by God this year and this decade. In fact, I want you to begin to look at this decade as your Decade of Destiny. If you are going to experience the blessings that God has stored up for you, you need to do two things: you have to ask for them and you have to keep God's rules.

Can All Your Worries

Worry. The buzz kill word and emotional downfall for a lot of people including me.

But be encouraged and put worry in its place.

God Bless.

Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? (NLT) -Matthew 6:27

You know the feeling you get when you start to worry? Anxiety rises up inside and the situation consumes your thoughts. We try to deal with it ourselves, but this behavior is not glorifying to God. Worry and stress reveal your doubt in God’s will. As the creator of the universe, He has a greater plan at work. The next time you find tension rising up inside of you, stop yourself. Say a prayer that you are turning it over to God and putting your faith in Him. Stop worrying.
