Salvation

Amen!

God Bless.

There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.” (NLT) -Acts 4:12

"In a world filled with uncertainty, there is one thing we can be sure of; salvation only comes through the name of Jesus! When we place our faith in Jesus, He promises that we can be saved. What good news! We are secure in Christ, in an insecure world. Thank you Jesus!"

Jesus Would

Food for thought.

God Bless.

Jesus Would Set the Captives Free

From the beginning, God’s plan was to rescue His people—not just from earthly oppression, but from the power of sin and death itself. The prophet Isaiah spoke of the One who would come to bring true freedom:

“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed.” (Isaiah 61:1, NLT)

Centuries later, Jesus stood in the synagogue, unrolled the scroll of Isaiah, and read these very words. Then, He declared, “The Scripture you’ve just heard has been fulfilled this very day!” (Luke 4:21, NLT).

Jesus came to break every chain—chains of sin, fear, addiction, shame, and anything else that keeps us bound. Through His death and resurrection, He opened the door to true freedom. No longer are we slaves to sin; we are set free to walk in new life with Him.

Whatever has held you captive, Jesus has come to release you. Today, receive His freedom, knowing that in Him, you are no longer bound but redeemed, restored, and made new.

Resist The Devil

Leaving this right here.

God Bless.

Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7)

The more real Satan appears in our day — the more obviously active — the more precious the victory of Christ will become to those who trust him.

The New Testament teaches that when Christ died and rose again, Satan was decisively defeated. A time of limited freedom is granted to him, but his power against God’s people is broken and his destruction is sure.

“The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.” (1 John 3:8)

“[Christ] himself likewise partook of the same things [flesh and blood], that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil.” (Hebrews 2:14)

“[God] disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him.” (Colossians 2:15)

In other words, the decisive blow was struck at Calvary. And one day, when Satan’s time of limited freedom is over, Revelation 20:10 says, “The devil . . . [will be] thrown into the lake of fire . . . and will be tormented day and night forever and ever.”

What does this mean for those of us who follow Jesus Christ?

“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:1)

“Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies!” (Romans 8:33)

“[Neither] angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38–39)

“He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” (1 John 4:4)

“They [the saints] have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” (Revelation 12:11)

Therefore, “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you!” He has been defeated, and we have been given victory. Our task now is to live in that victory and make Satan know his defeat.

The Power Of God

Amen!

Encouragement!

Keep going!

Stay strong!

God Bless.

I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power
20 that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms. (NLT) -Ephesians 1:19-20

The power of God is what keeps Christians going! When we are tired or when we are unsure what to do, it’s time to tap into the power of God. His grace is sufficient to meet all our needs. No matter what you are facing, God has the power to carry you through it.

Quote Of The Day - People

Leaving this right here.

Quote of the Day – Mother Teresa

People have forgotten what the human touch is, what it is to smile, for somebody to smile at them, somebody to recognize them, somebody to wish them well. The terrible thing is to be unwanted.

Who Attempt

This! Love this!

God Bless.

Some who attempt prayer never have the sense of anyone listening on the other end. They blame themselves for doing it wrong…. Prayer requires the faith to believe that God listens.

A Precious Stone

God Bless.

A Precious Stone

“Behold, I lay in Sion a Chief Corner Stone, … precious.” 1 Peter 2:6

How precious He is! The more we know about Him the more wonderful He becomes, and the more intimately we know Him the more precious He is.

“To whom coming as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God and precious.” Not precious to the world, for the world has no place, no use for Him; but “unto you who believe He is precious.” He is the Creator. He holds the world in the hollow of His hand as a dry leaf and could crush it. But He so loved you and me that He laid aside His royal robe, arrayed Himself in human flesh, and then poured out His precious blood for us. Should He not be precious to us?

Lord, we desire in our hearts to hold Thee precious. Holy Spirit, help us. Amen.

Mess

Mess with God is everything and surely enough.

God Bless.

But joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the Lord their God. (NLT) -Psalm 146:5

Where do you turn when your life turns into a mess? How do you pick up the pieces? A mess is always easier to clean when you have someone helping you. God is just waiting for you to invite Him into your mess.

Search For Them

This!

God Bless.

Search for them as you would for silver; seek them like hidden treasures. Then you will understand what it means to fear the LORD, and you will gain knowledge of God.(NLT) -Proverbs 2:4-5

The Bible is filled with passages that promise that if we seek after God’s wisdom he will give it to us! If we search for the hidden treasure that is God’s knowledge and understanding, you will find it. What else could be more valuable to our lives? Ask God to guide you by the power of his Holy Spirit. Love Not

Interesting little devotional.  I believe this could be for everyone just not women.

God Bless.

"Love not the world, neither the things [that are] in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him." - (1 John 2:15)

Devotional

John beseeches that we do not love the world. The world offers the good, the bad, and the indifferent. The preferences we develop and the choices we make mirrors where our heart lies, for God or the world.

Achievements and temptations assail us in our daily lives and it is in the active pursuit of balance that we will be victorious in overcoming the world and demonstrating our love for God. We will be known as Christian women who love not the world but who love the Father, because we pursue Godly things.

The Life

Jesus saith unto him, “I am…the Life.” John 14:6

He is not only the Way and the Truth, but He is the Life- Eternal Life, the Author of Life and the Giver of Life. We almost stagger when we confront this statement by the One who left Heaven and the throne of God and came to this earth that He might reveal Himself and receive to Himself those who were to inherit through Him and share with Him this eternal Life. Our short pilgrimage here is soon ended and then, O joy, we enter the unending, eternal Life.

Lord, how we thank Thee that Thou art our eternal Life through the indwelling Holy Spirit. Amen.

Live A Life Of Love

Some food for thought.

Be encouraged.

God Bless.

Today : Live A Life Of Love

TODAY’S VERSE
“Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ.” Ephesians 5:2 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
We spend so much of our life looking for a cause to believe in. Something that we can excel in by using our gifts and passions. Something that will give our life significance. And yet, as we search for that certain mission, the answer lays right before us. Paul writes, “Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ.” What better cause is there? What could give us so many options and allow us to use our own giftedness and passion? What could possibly give more significance to our life than loving the way Christ did? There are so many people that need love. There are so many people that your presence in their life would make all the difference in the world. Paul said it this way in I Corinthians 13. “Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.”
Today, ask God to help you love those that He leads you to.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, help me live a life filled with love. Thank You for Jesus who loves me so much. Might I follow His example in loving others.
AMEN

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION & MEDITATION

I am living a life full of love for others
Visualize your day. See God giving you opportunity to listen to others, to empathize, to do acts of kindness. Sense yourself as a disciple of Jesus Christ walking with Him throughout the day. Feel His power and compassion flow through you. Affirm, “I am living a life full of love for others!”

Our Greatest Fulfillment

My the word's below be inspiring and encouraging.

God Bless.

Today's Quotation:

Our greatest fulfillment lies in giving ourselves to others.

Henri J.M. Nouwen

Today's Meditation:

I know that at times it seems like "giving myself to others"--my time, my talents, my abilities--is an incredibly difficult task, especially if I see others who give incredible amounts of their time and energy to others, or give what I would consider large sums of wealth. It is easy for me to feel that there is no possible way I could measure up to such a standard of giving. But I am wrong here, for there are so many ways to give, and other factors that are at play here. More importantly, though, is that if I use this as a reason not to give, I risk postponing, or even completely missing out on my "greatest fulfillment" in life.

Most of know someone who seems to be everywhere and involved in everything, sharing themselves in some unique and selfless way. Of course, if we try to compare ourselves to such individuals, we may feel that our giving and our service could never contribute in such a way. That is not the case, though. I am an a position in my life right now where I cannot contribute as much of my time as others can, for I have children who need me at home and in their lives. I should not expect myself to be able to give as much time as someone whose children have left the home, or someone who is unattached, or someone who has more free time in general. Similarly, I should not expect myself to give more than what I can afford financially as well, for I have a family to feed, to clothe, and to educate.

It is important to give--it is how we find fulfillment in life. But it is important that we recognize our limits, and give within our means. This discernment is key to reaching a balance that allows us to find and keep happiness in our lives.

Find areas in your life in which you are able to give. If we are to find any sort of purpose, happiness, or fulfillment in life, we must give of ourselves. The amount can be small, the amount can be large--as long as your contribution is from the heart... it is more than worthy.

Today's Challenge: Give of yourself to others today.

Questions to consider:

Have you ever compared yourself to someone else and found that you came up lacking somehow? Was it a fair comparison?

In what areas can you start to give without affecting the areas to which you currently give? How can you start?

Why is it that in society's eyes, donating time to a charity somehow seems more worthy than spending that same time with our own children or siblings or parents? Is this truly the case?

For further thought:

Only those who have learned the power of sincere and selfless contribution experience life's deepest joy: true fulfillment.
