Who said a pastor is the only one who can care for his flock?

This little devotional puts things in a whole different light or at least it did for me. May you find something to help you in your every day life that encourages you to become everything you need to, after all, there is a flock waiting for you to lead and guide them to a much more power Shepard than they could imagine.

The Flock

Care for the flock that God has entrusted to you. Watch over it willingly, not grudgingly--not for what you will get out of it, but because you are eager to serve God. (NLT) -1 Peter 5:2

You have a flock that God has placed into your care, even if you don't realize it.  Friends, children, parents, or neighbors are under our care.  We often push ourselves to care for them out of obligation, but this makes it difficult if our heart is not willing to serve.  Tap into your desire to serve God when relationships are strained among the flock.  Have you identified your flock that you care for?
