It Doesn't Matter

Some food for thought in the word's written below.

Be encouraged.

God Bless.

It doesn’t matter if God removes the problem or gives you the strength to bear it. Either way, you can put aside all anxiety and worry and remain at peace, knowing that God loves you and will always do what’s best for you.

God Is Faithful

Amen! He will never leave us or forsake us. Be encouraged.

God Bless.

God Is Faithful!

His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. - Lamentations 3:22-23, NKJV

Three hundred and seventy-one days after the Flood began, “God said to Noah, ‘Come out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and their wives'” (Gen. 8:15, NIV). We can almost hear the “Hallelujah Chorus” playing in the background! What a day of rejoicing that must have been! God had been faithful to see him through!

God has not changed. If He was faithful to watch over Noah and all those within the ark, bringing them safely through the storm, He will do the same for you. Just as He was faithful to preserve Joseph through thirteen years of slavery in Potiphar’s house and Pharaoh’s prison, just as He was faithful to preserve the little baby Moses floating on the Nile . . . God will be faithful to you. Why? Because God is faithful! He cannot be less than Himself! Keep your focus on God’s faithfulness and on God’s greatness!

See God's Hand

Granted this little devotional starts out with my sister, but I feel as this little devotional can be for any one.

In this day and age, we need to grab encouragement wherever we can find it. So let's stay encouraged.

God Bless.

My sister, see God’s hand in your delays. I know you feel bummed when nothing is working out like you hoped, but that’s your sign to stop, not push ahead stubbornly trying to make something happen on your own. Stop, Sis, and ask God what He is wanting you to see that you’re not seeing in the moment. Delays are a sign that God has something far better in mind that will save you time and money. Delays help you take the time to see what you really want and need. Delays are God’s blessings in disguise.

Don't Shrink

Food for thought. Be encouraged. Jesus loves you!.

God Bless.

Don’t Shrink

Adapted from the resource Trusting God Day by Day - by Joyce Meyer
2 MIN READ

Self-doubt causes a person to shrink back in fear. God’s Word states in Hebrews that the just shall live by faith and if he shrinks back in fear, God’s soul has no delight in him. That does not mean God is angry with us, but it does sadden Him that we are living so far below the confident life He provided through Jesus Christ.

Faith is being confident in God and His Word. Perhaps you have a good relationship with God and have no problem trusting Him, but when it comes to trusting yourself to do the right thing, you shrink—you allow fear to control you and pull you back.

God once told me that if I didn’t trust myself, then I didn’t trust Him. He said He was living in me and directing, guiding, and controlling me because I asked Him to do so. I needed to believe God’s promises, not my feelings or thoughts. Of course, any one of us can miss God and we can make mistakes. We can think we are going in the right direction and then discover we are wrong, but it’s not the end of the world, nor is it anything to become excessively concerned about. If our hearts are sincere and we are honestly seeking God’s will, even if we do make a mistake, He will intervene and get us back on track. Quite often, He does it without us even knowing.

Instead of always assuming you are wrong and living in the agony of self-doubt, I encourage you to believe you are being led by God unless He shows you otherwise. Just as God has promised in His Word, you can trust Him to lead you by His Holy Spirit into all truth (see John 16:13). If we are on the wrong track, God will help us get back on the right one.

Prayer of the Day: Father, I am so thankful that You can take even my mistakes and turn them into something good. I pray that You will help me put doubt aside and trust You completely. Thank You that in Christ I have everything I need; I can be confident in You, and I never have to doubt again.

For You Created

You are special and more importantly you are loved. Be encouraged.

God Bless

"For you created my inmost being you knit me together in my mothers womb." - (Psalm 139:13)

David talks about God's perfect knowledge of man whom He made. A masterpiece, work of art, wonder gem, feather in God's cap, wonder, prize you are. You can't be cloned, no one else is just like, your DNA is the only one there is. Every intricate detail about you was planned before your mother met your father. So regardless of what you've heard, what they've said about and to you, God made you SPECIAL. He plotted the course of your life and knew the path that you would choose, where you would be born, and the experiences you would have. You are fearfully and wonderfully made, live like it!

Prayer

Amen! Love this.

God Bless.

Prayer is an effective weapon against anxiety, but some see prayer as a complicated exercise. Prayer is simply talking to God about whatever is on your heart.

Be Glad In The Lord

Nuggets to get you thinking but hopefully this will also be an encouragement as well.

God Bless.

Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous. - Ps 32:11

Joy is a Christian duty. God wants all His children to be happy. Do they never have any troubles? Yes, many. Still God wants us to rejoice.

We must notice, however, what kind of joy it is which we are so earnestly urged to have. It is not the world’s joy – “Be glad in the Lord.” Those whose gladness depends only on earthly things have no assurance of its lasting long, for all earthly things are transitory.

When it is the love of Christ that gives us gladness, our joy is sure beyond failure, for He loveth us to the end. To be glad in the Lord is to do day by day our simple duty, leaving to Him all the care, all providing, all protecting, never allowing a shadow of anxiety to cross our mind.

“And should the twilight darken into night,
And sorrow grow to anguish, be thou strong;
Thou art in God, and nothing can go wrong
Which a fresh life–pulse cannot set aright.”

Everlasting Life

Good news! Jesus loves us more than we know. Be encouraged! And keep the faith.

God Bless.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." - (John 3:16)

Devotional

The famous and profound passage about salvation through Jesus Christ, what He did for mankind. If you were the only woman in the world, God would still send His Son Jesus to die for you.

That's how much God loves you. Life may or may not be good right now, but think of the prospect of living forever in a perfect, righteous and fair world. Jesus made it possible by shedding His blood on the cross just for you. It's not a fairytale but it has a happy ending, the promise of eternal life when you accept Jesus Christ.

Yet I am grateful for the word's written below. I'm encouraged and hopefully you will be as well.

Worry And Anxiety

Wisdom. Leaving it right here.

God Bless.

Worry and anxiety are methods by which we try to figure out what only God knows. If we trust Him, He will give us answers at the right time. But if we worry, all we end up with is a headache. Many times, God’s answer is something we could not have even imagined.

You Are Not The Only One

Mic Drop in the word's written below.

Be encouraged.

God Bless.

You are not the only one struggling with worry and anxiety. I encourage you, while you are going through your difficulty, pray for others who are also suffering. The less we focus our minds on ourselves and our situations, the better off we will be.

On Most Days

Truth bomb. Doesn't mean I didn't have to hear it though to stay enough. Encouragement is essential.

Keep up the fight of faith.

God Bless.

On most days, we can probably find something to worry about unless we choose not to, and I have learned that every day I spend worrying is a day I waste and one I will never get back.

God Will Deal

Food for thought while thanking the Father for never leaving us no matter who are what is attacking us.

God Bless.

God Will Deal with Our Enemies

Adapted from the resource Daily Devotions from Psalms - by Joyce Meyer
2 MIN READ

We all have enemies, and our natural instinct is to seek revenge against them. But God promises to deal with our enemies and bless us if we will wait on Him and not try to take matters into our own hands. In today’s scripture, God is speaking about David’s enemies and says He will clothe them with shame.

God tells us to forgive our enemies, to bless them, and to pray for them—and this is exactly what we should do. Just this week, someone hurt me and falsely accused me, and I have been praying for that person every day and sometimes twice a day. I would much rather have God’s justice than my own.

I encourage you to follow Jesus’ commands in this area. Love your enemies and do good to them (see Matthew 5:44; Luke 6:27). Don’t stoop to their level by trying to get them back. God will be your Vindicator. He will defend you, bless you, and exalt you.

Prayer of the Day: Father, I want to live my life according to Your will. At times, it is hard for me to wait on You, especially in dealing with my enemies. Help me to obey You. Help me to forgive, bless, and pray for those who hurt me. Thank You.

Watch Therefore

Come, Lord Jesus, come.

God Bless.

Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. - Matt 24:42

There is only one thing that we are absolutely sure of in the future – Christ’s coming. We do not know when or how He will come. We only know that He will come.

“The Master will knock at my door some night,
And there, in the silence hushed and dim,
Will wait for my coming with lamp alight,
To open immediately to Him.”
“If this is the only thing foretold
Of all my future life, then I pray
That quietly watchful I may hold
The key of a golden faith each day
Fast shut in my grasp, that, when I hear
His step, be it at dawn or at midnight dim,
Straightway may I arise without a fear,
And open immediately to Him.”

Trust God's Goodness

He is good all the time. We just have to believe and receive it.

May this little devotional be an encouragement for you

God Bless.

Trust God’s Goodness

He will wipe every tear from their eyes. - Revelation 21:4, NIV

One day God will call us forth from the dead, and we will rise again! Praise God! Praise God! Praise God! All of our suffering will be over, and God Himself “‘will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.’ He who was seated on the throne said . . . , ‘Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true'” (Rev. 21:4-5, NIV).

When you don’t understand why, just trust Him!

Trust His heart! Trust His purpose!

Trust His goodness!

Trust His plan to be bigger than yours!

Trust Him because . . . God is enough.
