Constantly Trying

I think this one needs some meditation and then walked out.

God Bless.

“Are you constantly trying to change people?

..work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Philippians 2:12, ESV

Prayer: Father God, I ask forgiveness for any time I didn’t accept who you’ve accepted, and didn’t love who you love. Forgive me for any time I’ve tried to do your job of changing people. I receive your love and forgiveness. I recognize I am not you. I humble myself right now and ask that you help me to focus on working on me. I choose to let you handle working on others with your love, your power, and your grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The truth is you can’t change:

 • How people feel• How people behave• What people think• What they believe in their hearts• How they live their life

However, you can change with God's help:

 • How you feel• How you behave• What you think• What you believe in your heart• How you live your life

Quote Of The Day - Why Wouldn't We

Something to think about.

God Bless.

Quote of the Day -Joyce Meyer

“Why wouldn’t we run to God. He’s sooo good. God’s not mad at anybody. He just wants to help us be the best that we can be.”

I Have Friends

Encouragement warning below.

God Bless.

I have friends and family who have been estranged from one another. It is, at best, unpleasant. At worst, it is horrible and painful. Spouses despise each other; children and parents don’t speak to each other for years; business partners want to be rid of each other. Things can get ugly in this old world.

This is why the news of God’s reconciliation is so marvelous. The hatred, enmity, and hostility are scrubbed away. We are doused in the cleansing blood of Jesus. We can be reconciled to God and to others because we are made blameless and spotless again through Jesus.

When You Put

This!

God Bless.

Quote of the Day -Joyce Meyer

“When you put your feet on the floor every morning, Hell should shake”

Jesus Makes Us Spotless

He is everything!

God Bless.

Jesus makes us spotless and blameless through his own body and blood. We are no longer stained, sinful, and bitter. We are new people, remade with holy ingredients. Once we are reconciled with God, we learn to forgive as the Lord has forgiven us (Colossians 3:13).

It is no longer the old sinner who comes forward to bind up the ruptures we have with others. It is a new person, who is holy and without blame or blemish. Once we are made new in Christ, we can respond to others as Jesus responded to them. And they can see us not as the blameworthy people who harmed them, but through the eyes of Christ, who accepts us all. Anyone who is reconstituted in Jesus can and should accept another.

God, thank you for reconciling us to yourself through the death of Jesus. Help us to be reconciled with others through Jesus as well. Amen.

Transformative Attitude

Love this.

God Bless

Gratitude is a transformative attitude. It helps us to shift from looking at what we don’t have to seeing the abundance of blessings around us. In our gratitude we choose to recognize and appreciate the goodness and faithfulness of God in every aspect of our lives. Gratitude opens our eyes to the wonders of creation, the kindness of others, and the countless gifts bestowed on us by our heavenly Father.

Gratitude is not limited to favorable circumstances; it prompts us to give thanks in all circumstances. Even in the midst of trials and challenges, we can find reasons to be thankful. We can express gratitude for God’s presence, for his comfort, and for lessons learned through difficult experiences.

Our gratitude flows from realizing we are saved from sin and death through the loving sacrifice of Jesus Christ. We are recipients of unmerited grace, forgiveness, and the promise of eternal life.

Today let’s cultivate a heart of gratitude. May we pause to count our blessings, expressing gratitude to God and to the people around us. In every season let’s remember that gratitude is not just a momentary feeling but a way of life. As we live with hearts full of gratitude, we will experience joy, contentment, and a deep relationship with our loving Father.

Dear Lord, we thank you for countless daily blessings. Help us to see your goodness in all aspects of life and to give thanks in all circumstances. May our lives overflow with gratitude to you. Amen.

Rest In Him

With everything going on in today's world, we just need to rest in the one who holds our future.

God Bless.

DAILY AFFIRMATION

BY CHRISTIAN CHANNEL
Rest In Him
Today : Rest In Him

TODAY’S VERSE
“Then Jesus said, ‘Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”’ Matthew 11:28 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
How many times have we qualified for this passage of scripture? Difficulties in life can get us all down. Relationships, finances, worries about the future, guilt over the past. There are so many contributors to the stress we find ourselves under. Jesus knew what it was to be under duress. He felt the fatigue from endless ministry. He grew exasperated over the religious controversy surrounding His mission. And yet, with all the pressures and temptations He was under, the Bible made it clear that He did not sin. Who better to come to for rest when we are weary? Today Jesus offers you relief. He knows you are weary and often carry heavy burdens. He says, “Come and I will give you rest.” Rest in Him today.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, You know how often I am weary and heavy burdened. You promised if I came to You that You would give me the rest I need. I come Lord Jesus, I come to You with all my burdens. Please give me rest to my soul.
AMEN

TODAY’S MEDITATION & VISUALIZATION
I will rest in Christ’s love for me
See yourself exasperated. You are weak and overburdened from the weight on your soul. Feel the desperation. As you sense your own weariness hear Jesus call out, “Come to me and I will give you rest.” You sense an excitement. You feel a hope rise up in your heart and you come to Him. As you approach Jesus, He takes your burdens. He bids you to sit and rest. As you sit you feel your burden lifted and your heart refreshed. You affirm, “I will rest in Christ’s love for me.”

For I Do Not Do The Good

This!

God Bless.

For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing. (Romans 7:19)

Christians do not live only in defeat. But neither do we live only in perfect victory over sin. And in those times when we fail to triumph over sin, Romans 7:13–25 shows us the normal way a healthy Christian should respond.

We should say:

I love the law of God. (verse 22)

I hate what I just did. (verse 15)

Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from the body of this death? (verse 24)

Thanks be to God! The victory will come through Jesus Christ my Lord. (verse 25)

In other words, no Christian wants to live in defeat. No Christian settles for living in defeat. But if we are defeated for a time, we shouldn’t lie about it.

No hypocrisy. No posing. No boasted perfectionism. No churchy, pasted smiles or chipper superficiality.

And even more, God save us from blindness to our own failures and the consequent quickness to judge others.

God, help us to feel worse about our own shortfalls than the failure of others.

God, give us the honesty and candor and humility of the apostle Paul in this text! “Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord!” (Romans 7:24–25).

Power

Isn't this the truth!

God Bless.

Power

19 I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power
20 that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms. (NLT) -Ephesians 1:19-20

The power of God is what keeps Christians going! When we are tired or when we are unsure what to do, it’s time to tap into the power of God. His grace is sufficient to meet all our needs. No matter what you are facing, God has the power to carry you through it.

Resist The Devil

I found this is something I need to meditate on more. And I wanted to share the wealth.

God Bless.

Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7)

The more real Satan appears in our day — the more obviously active — the more precious the victory of Christ will become to those who trust him.

The New Testament teaches that when Christ died and rose again, Satan was decisively defeated. A time of limited freedom is granted to him, but his power against God’s people is broken and his destruction is sure.

“The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.” (1 John 3:8)

“[Christ] himself likewise partook of the same things [flesh and blood], that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil.” (Hebrews 2:14)

“[God] disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him.” (Colossians 2:15)

In other words, the decisive blow was struck at Calvary. And one day, when Satan’s time of limited freedom is over, Revelation 20:10 says, “The devil . . . [will be] thrown into the lake of fire . . . and will be tormented day and night forever and ever.”

What does this mean for those of us who follow Jesus Christ?

“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:1)

“Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies!” (Romans 8:33)

“[Neither] angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38–39)

“He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” (1 John 4:4)

“They [the saints] have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” (Revelation 12:11)

Therefore, “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you!” He has been defeated, and we have been given victory. Our task now is to live in that victory and make Satan know his defeat.

The Everlasting God

Thank you, Lord, that your are our everlasting God.

Be encouraged.

God Bless.

Bible Name of God : THE EVERLASTING GOD

THE EVERLASTING GOD

Isai 40:28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, [that] the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? [there is] no searching of his understanding.

Here Israel is bidden to abide in Jehovah as the “Everlasting One” who will strengthen them for service. There is no change in Him, for He is “the same yesterday today and forever.” Our hearts are heavy sometimes because we do not understand His seeming indifference to our prayers, but we must never have a question mark concerning His doings. We must trust Him. Our faith must be unwavering. We are as dear to Him as the apple {pupil} of His eye. Let us live close to Him. Let us glorify Him and abide in His promises.

Forgive us Lord, Thou who art “The Everlasting God”, if we ever hurt Thy heart by our lack of faith in Thee. Let us trust Thee like little children.

Humble

Good for thought.

Be encouraged.

God Bless.

Humble

Can you make lightning appear and cause it to strike as you direct? (NLT) -Job 38:35

God is so powerful that he commands the lighting. It’s easy to feel that we are the boss of our own lives. We so quickly can move from a posture of humble surrender to our creator to taking matters in our own hands. God reminds Job that we are to regard God with humble hearts. Recognizing his authority and power. Do you need to let go and start trusting the God who holds all of Creation in his hands? Pray a prayer of surrender to the Lord today.

Identifying A Miracle

This...

God Bless.

Identifying a Miracle

The first thing you need to do, if you're going to ask God for a miracle, is to identify the problem. In Mark 6, the problem is obvious. There's a large crowd. It's a remote location. There's nothing to eat. What would you do? The point is this: Every miracle begins with a problem. If you don't have a problem, you don't need a miracle. Do you have a problem? If you do, then have I got good news for you! You're a candidate for a miracle. The starting point is to recognize there is a problem. Take a few minutes and write down one problem in your life where you'd like to see a miracle. Then pray and tell God about this problem.

Full Understanding

Need food for thought? This one is for you.

God Bless.

Full Understanding
Today : Full Understanding

TODAY’S VERSE
“May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ.” II Thessalonians 3:5 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
Do we understand our daily situations the way God does? Do we see through His eyes? In today’s passage Paul wrote, “May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding of the love of God.” This wasn’t just any understanding it is a “full” understanding. And it was more that understanding. It was an understanding that expresses itself in God’s love and patience. What an amazing treasure this would be. To have our hearts tuned into the beat of the Saviors. To be able to stand with God, fully understanding through Christ, the way of His love and patience. When you truly see the situations you are in through Christ’s eyes, He will lead you to His loving ways. It will always be about His love. This is turn will result in patient endurance. Today, let the Lord lead your heart into a full understanding and expression of God’s love and patience. Try to see the world you live and work in through His eyes. Let God’s vision and love permeate everything you do.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, give me spiritual vision. Help me see what You see today. Lead my heart into a full understanding and expression of Your love and patience so I can apply it to my life and those around me. In Jesus’ name.
AMEN

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION & MEDITATION
God is helping me more fully understand and express His love and patience
Envision yourself struggling with daily situations. If there were no people you would be fine. You can feel the burden of so much drama. Sense the struggle you are having being more loving and patient. Invite Jesus to come and give you a better understanding of His love and patience. As you do, sense that He desires to synch your heart with His. Picture yourself walking throughout the day with more love, more patience. Sense His presence alive in your heart. Affirm that God is helping you more fully understand and express His love and patience.

Jesus Our Substitute

Thank You, Lord for giving your all.

God Bless.

Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.

A wealthy twenty-year-old was drag-racing with his friends when he struck and killed a pedestrian. Although the young man received a three-year prison sentence, some believe that the man who appeared in court (and who subsequently served a prison sentence) was a hired surrogate for the driver who committed the crime. This type of thing has been known to occur in some countries where people hire body doubles to avoid paying for their crimes

This may sound scandalous and outrageous, but more than two thousand years ago, Jesus became our substitute and “suffered once for [our] sins, the righteous for the unrighteous” (1 Peter 3:18). As God’s sinless sacrifice, Christ suffered and died once and for all (Hebrews 10:10), for all who believe in Him. He took the penalty for all our sins in His own body on the cross. Unlike a person today who chooses to be a substitute for a criminal to get some cash, Christ’s substitutionary death on the cross provided “hope” for us as He freely, willingly gave His life for us (1 Peter 3:15, 18; John 10:15). He did so to bridge the chasm between us and God.or their crimes.

May we rejoice and find comfort and confidence in this profound truth: Only by the substitutionary death of Jesus can we—sinners in need—have a relationship with and complete spiritual access to our loving God.

Reflect And Pray

How has Christ’s substitutionary death changed your life? What does it mean for you to have access to God and eternal life because of Jesus' death on the cross?

Dear Jesus, thank You for dying in my place so that I might have access to God.

Insight

In 1 Peter 3:13-14, the apostle encourages believers in Jesus to “do good,” even if they suffer for it. Believers in Christ aren’t to fear but are to trust in God and be prepared to witness for Him. Peter reminds us that Jesus suffered unjustly and died for our sins, “the righteous for the unrighteous” (v. 18). His was a once-for-all sacrifice. Whoever believes in Him as their Savior and repents of their sins receives His forgiveness. Our salvation doesn’t guarantee we won’t suffer; today’s passage and other Scripture passages tell us something quite different. Jesus said, “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first” (John 15:18); also, “If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also” (v. 20). And Paul tells us, “Everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted” (2 Timothy 3:12).

Listening Ear

Some major food for thought.

God Bless.

Listening Ear

But we belong to God, and those who know God listen to us. If they do not belong to God, they do not listen to us. That is how we know if someone has the Spirit of truth or the spirit of deception. (NLT) -1 John 4:6
Loving others looks like us taking time to offer a listening ear to other Christians in our community. Those who are from God take time to listen to other believers. This feels so simple, so obvious, but it is so profound in our hurried culture! Pausing to hear the concerns of a fellow believer, even if you don’t see an issue eye-to-eye show them that they are loved, seen, heard, and a valuable part of God’s family!

God Knows Everything About You

This...leaving it here.

God Bless.

God Knows Everything About You

God knows everything about your life and that can either be very disturbing or very comforting. It depends on your relationship to Him, whether you're trying to fool Him or not. The fact that God knows everything about my life is a tremendous motivator for me to live a godly life. I realize that nothing in my life is in secret. Nothing I face will hinder God's ability to help me. Nothing that is to come will catch him by surprise. Nothing I fear will be too big for God's strength. And nothing I do in God's name is ever done in vain.

God says, "I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out - plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for." (Jeremiah 29:11 MSG)

Prayer Quote Of The Day - God Wants

This.

God Bless.

Prayer Quote of the day

God wants to see prayers that are filled with genuine praise and thanksgiving for what He has done in the past. He wants our hearts to be filled with awe and gratitude for His blessings. He wants us to set up memorials in our hearts testifying to the provisions He has given us.

We Are Labourers

This for me was so encouraging.

God Bless.

For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

Inspiration

God has prepared work for all of us to do. But even as we do His work, He works alongside us and within us. For as we do His work, He brings forth a harvest as a field would produce. As we faithfully carry out our purposes, He builds us up into a structure that reveals His glory as it stands as a beacon of hope to others.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for calling me to do Your work. Equip me to do all that You have called me to do so that as You work through me, You may use me to produce fruit, to reach others, and to encourage my brothers and sisters in Christ. Please work all of these things in me and through me for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Quote Of The Day - You Are Not Alone

Leaving it right here.

God Bless

Quote of the Day -Joyce Meyer

“You Are Not Alone Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he . . . [has a personal knowledge of My mercy, love, and kindness—trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never forsake him]. PSALM 91:14

God wants you to know you are not alone. Satan wants you to believe you are all alone, but you are not. He wants you to believe no one understands how you feel, but that is not true. In addition to God being with you, many believers know how you feel and understand what you are experiencing mentally and emotionally. As God’s child, you can claim His wonderful promises. No matter what you are facing or how lonely you may feel, know that you are not alone. As you meditate on God tonight, draw strength and encouragement from knowing He is always faithful and He will never forsake you.”

-Joyce Meyer, Ending Your Day Right: Devotions for Every Evening of the Year

When Obedience Feels Impossible

Leaving it right here.

God Bless.

By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac. (Hebrews 11:17)

For many of you right now — and for others of you the time is coming — obedience feels like the end of a dream. You feel that if you do what the word of God or the Spirit of God is calling you to do, it will make you miserable and that there is no way that God could turn it all for good.

Perhaps the command or call of God you hear just now is to stay married or stay single, to stay in that job or leave that job, to get baptized, to speak up at work about Christ, to refuse to compromise your standards of honesty, to confront a person in sin, to venture a new vocation, to be a missionary. And as you see it in your limited mind, the prospect of doing this is terrible — it’s like the loss of Isaac, the only son who can be an heir.

You have considered every human angle, and it is impossible that it could turn out well.

Now you know what it was like for Abraham. This story is in the Bible for you.

Do you desire God and his way and his promises more than anything, and do you believe that he can and will honor your faith and obedience by being unashamed to call himself your God, and to use all his wisdom and power and love to turn the path of obedience into the path of life and joy?

That is the crisis you face now: Do you desire him? Will you trust him? The word of God to you is: God is worthy and God is able.
