Can you make lightning appear and cause it to strike as you direct? (NLT) -Job 38:35
God is so powerful that he commands the lighting. It’s easy to feel that we are the boss of our own lives. We so quickly can move from a posture of humble surrender to our creator to taking matters in our own hands. God reminds Job that we are to regard God with humble hearts. Recognizing his authority and power. Do you need to let go and start trusting the God who holds all of Creation in his hands? Pray a prayer of surrender to the Lord today.
