TODAY’S MESSAGE

We search for purpose and significance. We strive to secure a meaningful job or vocation. But in reality, there is no higher calling on earth than being God’s child and imitating Him by living a life filled with love. This is the ultimate purpose that God has called each one of us to. Today, do what Paul says to do. Fill your day with the love of Christ and follow His example in everything you do.

TODAY’S PRAYER

Father, I thank You that You have made me Your child. I thank You that You have given me the most important job on earth, which is to live a life filled with love. I admit I can’t do this without You. I need Your Holy Spirit to help me live a life of love today. In Jesus’ name.

Spend more time alone with Me.

A strength and a Joy come from such times that will add much to your friendship, and much to your work.

Times of prayer are times of growth. Cut those times short and many well-filled hours of work may be profitless. Heaven’s values are so different from the values of earth.Remember that from the point of view of the Great Worker, one poor tool, working all the time, but doing bad work, is of small value compared with the sharp, keen, perfect instrument, used only a short time, but which turns out perfect work.

A jubilant declaration of faith written by David. Your pillow knows the story very well, many nights it is filled to capacity with tears: sobs, whines, bawlings, groans, howls, moans, hollers, whimpers, wails. You've tried talking to others about your troubles but they don't seem to understand or even care about what you are going through. The Psalmist describes his experience here and I encourage you to follow his example. He exhibits faith and hope in the Lord who hears our cries, has mercy on us and answers. Be assured that God answers our deepest, shallowest cries because he cares for and about us.

Are you feeling disconnected from God? Do you feel a void in your life? Maybe it's time you take some time out intentionally to spend time with God. Eliminate yourself from any interruptions and seek God in prayer. We should have private time with God even if we aren't feeling separated from Him in order to focus on God.

Stand firm on the promise that God will respond to our prayers. He is able to restore our joy when life does all it can to snatch it away from us. What are you in need of? Bring your needs to the Lord in prayer. He is a great listener and always responds with love and compassion.
