You Are One Of A Kind

I hope I am not the only one who agrees we need to get a good teaching and knowledge of who we are in Christ and just what that means to us.

We need to stop our thinking God isn't mad at us but loves us with an unconditional love.

We must see ourselves how Jesus sees us because when we do, people will start to take notice. Isn't that the whole point? To be so full of Jesus that we cause a stir and a longing to obtain the hope we have for the future?

I believe it is. Indeed,  we are one of a kind now let's go show Him off to the world.

God Bless.

You Are One of a Kind!

by Joyce Meyer

The sun is glorious in one way, the moon is glorious in another way, and the stars are glorious in their own [distinctive] way; for one star differs from and surpasses another in its beauty and brilliance.
—1 Corinthians 15:41

We are all different. Like the sun, the moon and the stars, God has created us to be different from one another; and He has done it on purpose. Each of us meets a need, and we are all part of God's overall plan. When we struggle to be like others, not only do we lose ourselves, but we also grieve the Holy Spirit. God wants us to fit into His plan, not to feel pressured trying to fit into everyone else's plans. Different is OK; it is all right to be different.
We are all born with different temperaments, different physical features, different fingerprints, different gifts and abilities, etc. Our goal should be to find out what we individually are supposed to be, and then succeed at being that. Romans 12 teaches us that we are to give ourselves to our gift. In other words, we are to find out what we are good at and then throw ourselves wholeheartedly into it.
I have discovered that I enjoy doing what I am good at doing. Some people feel they are not good at anything but that is not true. When we make an effort to do what others are good at doing, we often fail because we are not gifted for those things. But that does not mean we are good at nothing. We all have limitations and we must accept them.
That is not bad; it is just a fact. It is wonderful to be free to be different, not to feel that something is wrong with us because we are different.
We should be free to love and accept ourselves and one another without feeling pressure to compare or compete. Secure people who know God loves them and has a plan for them are not threatened by the abilities of others. They enjoy what other people can do and they enjoy what they can do. When I stand before God, He will not ask me why I wasn't like Dave, or the Apostle Paul, or my pastor's wife, or my friend. I don't want to hear Him say to me, "Why weren't you Joyce Meyer?" I want to hear Him say, Well done, good and faithful servant (Matthew 25:23 KJV).

Your Next Stop Is A Place Of Abundance

We need to read this little devotional over and over allowing it to soak deep within our souls and never let go.
We have a God who hears our every cry even when words can't form in our mouth while tears flow from our eyes.
We were made to be the head and not the tail. Isn't it about time we start believing and walking in It?
Let God arise, I say!
God Bless.
Your Next Stop Is A Place Of Abundance!
Psalm 66:12 12… we went through fire and through water; but You brought us out to rich fulfillment.
Are you in a situation where people are stepping all over you and they seem to have the upper hand? You feel as if the challenge you are facing is so big that you are going through fire. And you are so overwhelmed by everything that is happening around you that you feel as if you are drowning.
My friend, I want you to know that your heavenly Father hears your cry for help and He will rescue you. The psalmist says that “we went through fire and through water; but You brought us out to rich fulfillment”. If you have been through the fire and water, then your next stop is a place of rich fulfillment or abundance! This place of abundance was indeed the next stop for a church member who had suddenly found himself facing allegations involving some money laundering activities within the bank where he was one of the top executives. Investigations later exonerated him, but because of the bad vibes caused by the incident, he was asked to resign.
He was then aged 52. Friends told him to retire and relax, but retirement was far from his mind. This brother believed that if God had allowed this to happen, it must be that He was leading him to a better place, one of rich fulfillment. And indeed, soon after this difficult experience, one of the top banks offered him a handsome salary to join them in one of their top positions. A few years later, at age 56, he was headhunted by one of the biggest public-listed companies to start a new division. He accepted the offer and was paid double what he had been earning. Beloved, your heavenly Father does not lie when He tells you that He will bring you out to rich fulfillment if you are going through a difficult time.
Trust Him and you will find yourself stepping into your place of abundance! Thought For The Day If you have been through the fire and water, your next stop is a place of rich fulfillment or abundance!

Say Thank You

We don't have a problem saying thank you to people who do things for us but when it comes to God, thanking Him for all He has done for us seems to be put on the back burner.

I'm just as guilty as the rest but I have tried to make it appoint to end my day with a thankful heart. I might not have it right but what I do know is there is a hope and a knowing in me that no matter what, Jesus still loves me and He isn't mad at me and He is my constant cheerleader.

God Bless.

Say “Thank You”

by Joyce Meyer

O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever!
—1 Chronicles 16:34

Thanksgiving should be a regular part of our lives. It is something that creates an atmosphere where God can speak; it is a type of prayer, and it should flow out of us in a natural way that is pure and easy. We can take time each evening and thank God for the things He helped us with that day, but we should also continually breathe out simple prayers of thanksgiving every time we see Him working in our lives or blessing us. We might say, “Lord, thank You for a good night’s sleep,” or “God, I thank You that my visit to the dentist didn’t hurt as much as I thought it might,” or “Father, thank You for helping me make good decisions today,” or “Lord, thank You for keeping me encouraged.”
God is always good to us, always faithful, and always working diligently in our lives to help us in every possible way. We need to respond by letting Him know we appreciate Him and everything He is doing for us. We should thank God silently in our hearts and we should also voice our thankfulness aloud because that helps us stay conscious and aware of God’s love, which He demonstrates through His goodness to us.
God’s word for you today: Thank God for twenty things today before you ask Him for anything.

The Healthy Skeptic

I have always felt Thomas got a bad rap. Do we actually know why or where Thomas was when Jesus showed up?
No not that I can find. I've been told by a Jewish scholar Thomas was indeed not doubting but was within his rights asking about what had taken place with the others and Jesus.
So I am always a little leary about calling him a doubter.  So when I came across this little devotional, I could see Thomas throughout the written words.
We may never know the full story about Thomas until we get to heaven but I lean towards him being a healthy skeptic who just loved Jesus.
God Bless.
The Healthy Skeptic
Scripture Reading: John 20:19-29 Unless I see the nail marks in his hands . . . and put my hand into his side, I will not believe. -
John 20:25 We often call him “Doubting Thomas,” but he’s more a healthy skeptic than an unbeliever. He’s skeptical about the preposterous story of seeing Jesus alive again. We don’t know where Thomas was on the night of Resurrection Sunday, but he wasn’t with the other disciples when Jesus visited them in a locked room, showed them his wounds, and blessed them. When Thomas returned, they told him they had seen Jesus. But after the crucifixion’s disappointment, Thomas would have to see and touch Jesus’ wounds for himself. Thomas wasn’t being stubborn. His world had collapsed. He’d been all in for Jesus, ready to die with him (John 11:16). Now, still grieving, Thomas was skeptical about the disciples’ bizarre story. Who could blame him?
A week later Jesus came to visit again, while Thomas was there. Thomas touched Jesus’ wounds and professed in faith, “My Lord and my God!” It’s the first record we have of any disciple calling Jesus “God.” In an instant, skepticism became faith. Our gracious Lord answered Thomas’s questions and made him a grateful disciple. Then Jesus added a blessing for all of us who cannot see and touch the resurrected Christ but must believe the disciples’ testimony.
Let’s share Thomas’s profession of faith, saying, “My Lord and my God!” Prayer: Dear Lord, sometimes the whole story of what you did for us is hard to believe. We’re often just as skeptical as Thomas. Give us the faith to say with him: “My Lord and my God!” Amen.

God Is Mighty

I came across this little devotional and it spoke volumes to my heart.
If you ever want to know about God, this little devotional is a good place to start. But my hope is we just won't stop here at this little devotional but we get into the word and expand our knowledge of who God is and then take it to lost and dying world.
God Bless.

God is a mighty God.
Nothing is impossible with Him.
He can move mountains, make the sun stand still, and heal the sick.
In Joshua chapter 4, we read how God completed the mighty task of bringing the Israelites into the Promised Land. God led the Israelites out of slavery and into freedom just as He had promised. Because of the magnitude of what He did, God did not want the Israelites to ever forget what He had done for them. God wanted the Israelites to forever remember the miracle He performed for them and what a mighty and powerful God He is.
Think back for a moment. God has done some amazing things in your life. He may have performed a miracle of healing or delivered you from the bondage of an addiction and into your own Promised Land. Take time today to remember the mighty things God has done for you. Praise Him and commit to Him that you will never forget the amazing things He has done for you.

Whenever We Have The Opportunity

We should do good not only to our family but to everyone we meet.
Most of the time people stop there and don't finish the verse. For the verse continues on to day we should do good to those who believe as we do.
Somehow we seem to think people of faith doesn't have a need or if they do, they should beef up their faith. But truth be told, everyone has a need some point in their life and if we need the voice of God, He will point us to others, always. We just need to do our part and listen going forth in love to all mankind.
God Bless.
Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone--especially to those in the family of faith. (NLT) -Galatians 6:10
This verse doesn't talk about just praying for good or pushing others to do good, it says we ourselves should step up and DO good. Maybe this means we take phone calls we don't want, step up and serve a friend in need, or go outside of our comfort zone.
Be ready to serve in action when the opportunity comes.

Race For The Final Frontier

Some say we are living in the greatest time in history and we stand at the door of Jesus' return. But I say if that is true, then we have a great responsibility to the people of this world to get our acts together and show the world that not only is there a great God waiting to welcome them into the kingdom but there is also a loving God who will meet them where they are at and love on them like no other before or after Him.
But we, His voice, are no where near we should be and it's about time we become united not only in love but are beliefs so we are strong enough to finish the race God has put before us.
God Bless.
Race for the Final Frontier
by Gloria Copeland
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:1-2
Today the Church is standing at the edge of a great frontier. I believe it is the final frontier that stands between us and the fullness of God’s glory. On the other side lie the greatest manifestations of God’s power this earth has ever seen. What is the last, great, spiritual frontier? Holiness. That’s right. Holiness is the final frontier. And we will cross it before Jesus comes to catch us away. I know we will because the Bible says that He is coming for a glorious Church without spot or wrinkle (Ephesians 5:27).
In other words, He is coming for a Church that is holy. Some people get more excited about being the glorious Church than they do about being the holy Church. They have the idea that the glory of God is exciting, while holiness is boring. But that’s not true! Glory and holiness are both wonderful things—and you can’t have the fullness of one without the other. The reason is simple. Holiness is what allows the glory of God to be manifest. So the more we walk in holiness, the more God will be able to pour forth His glory through us! Holiness is a formidable word to many. But it simply means “separation to God for His use.” Knowing that should make us hungry for holiness. It should make us more eager than ever to separate ourselves from the things of the world unto the things of the Spirit. It should give us an intense desire to obey Romans 12:1-2.
So commit yourself to being holy. Present yourself to God as a living sacrifice. Move on into the spiritual realm—race for the final frontier. Speak the Word “I present my body to God as a living sacrifice. I will live a holy life, acceptable unto Him, which is my reasonable service.” —Romans 12:1

Open Your Mouth

My mouth can and does get me into trouble without a doubt and this leads me to get into all kinds of trouble.

So when I came across this little devotional, I knew I had to take the words to heart and I wanted to share it with you so we, together, can put the enemy in his place....under our feet!

God Bless.

Open Your Mouth

by Joyce Meyerhea

David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the LORD will hand you over to me, and I’ll strike you down . . . and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel.”
—Samuel 17:45–46 NIV

Like David, we all have enemies or what we call giants in our lives who need to be defeated. First Samuel 17:42–48 tells us that when David was preparing to do battle with the giant Goliath, he ran toward him (not away from him), with the power of God as his weaponry, confessing out loud what he believed the end result of the battle would be.
We can easily see from David’s example how we should approach the enemies we face in our own lives: we must open our mouths and speak the Word of God. You don’t ever have to be afraid of the giants in your life because the greatest One lives in you, and you can release His power by boldly speaking out your faith in Him.
Power Thought: I use the weapon of God’s Word to defeat my enemies.

Jesus Can Identify With You Pain

Pain. We all have it. We all experience it. But what we do with it will determine the course of our lives.
I must admit, I haven't dealt with pain all that well and I've allowed it to take over part of my life.
But I am so glad I have a Savior who loves me and guides me and believes in me and He is sitting at the right hand of the Father cheer me on.
God Bless.
Jesus Can Identify With Your Pain
Leviticus 2:4 4‘And if you bring as an offering a grain offering baked in the oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mixed with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil.
Private pains, deep hurts, shameful addictions. You may think that nobody understands what you are going through, but God does. He can identify with all your pains and is able to help you. (Hebrews 2:18, 4:15)
In the Old Testament, the grain offering brought to God speaks of Jesus’ life on earth. The fine flour, which the grain offering is made with, is flour that has been pounded, ground, beaten and sifted through to get it consistently even and fine. Therefore, it typifies the humanity and sufferings of Jesus. One of the ways the Jewish women prepared the grain offering was to bake it. The baking done in the depths of the oven speaks of the “hidden” sufferings that Jesus went through. I believe that Jesus faced sufferings that we cannot fully understand.
Even as a young boy, He must have gone through sufferings that prepared Him to die for all humanity at the cross. And during His ministry years, it must have grieved Him when time and time again, He found unbelief not just in the people around Him, but even in His disciples. Jesus also suffered at the hands of men — slanderers who misunderstood Him. Once, the Pharisees insinuated that He was born out of wedlock because His mother was with child before she married Joseph. (John 8:39, 41)
That scandalous remark, probably not the first, must have hurt Him. Consider also the temptations He faced. There were not only three. God’s Word says that He was tempted for 40 days! (Luke 4:2) Not all the temptations were recorded. Those 40 days must have tried Him sorely. What do all these mean? My friend, Jesus went through all those temptations and sufferings for you, yet He did not sin. (Hebrews 4:15) There is no temptation or suffering that you are going through that He cannot identify with. So come to His throne of grace today and receive His superabounding grace to face and overcome those trials in your life!
Thought For The Day There is no temptation or suffering that you are going through that Jesus cannot identify with or give you His superabounding grace to overcome.

Why S.O.A.P Your Verses

I just love the concept of this little devotional. Not only are we getting and living in the word but also using the concept for an exercise to better strengthen our prayer life.
I suggest we take a few minutes to digest this little devotional and see if this is something that not only will bring me closer to God but also to bring glory to Him as well.
God Bless.
Why S.O.A.P. your verses?
It's one thing to simply read scripture, but when you interact with it, when you learn to slow down to REALLY read it, suddenly words start popping off the page. By SOAPing your verses you are able to dig deeper into scripture and "see" more than if you simply read the verses and then went on your merry way.
Let me encourage you to take the time to SOAP the daily verses and see for yourself how much more you get out of your daily Bible reading! What does S.O.A.P. mean? S - stands for Scripture- Physically write out the scripture and you'll be amazed at what God will reveal to you just by taking the time to slow down and write out what you are reading! O - stands for Observation- What do you observe in the verses that you're reading? Who is the audience? Is there a repetition of words? What words stand out to you? A - stands for Application- This is when God's Word becomes personal. What is God saying to me today? How can I apply what I just read to my own personal life? What changes do I need to make? Is there an action that I need to take? P - stands for Prayer- Pray God's Word back to Him. If He has revealed something to you during this time in His Word, pray about it. Confess if He has revealed some sin that is in your life.

Ask For Help

With Holy Week up us, one might find yourself in need of help and not theological things stuffed down your throat.

May this little devotional help you find peace and hope in what ever situation you are going through.

There is someone who loves unconditional and has gone to the depths of hell just so we can have a hope and a peace that passes all understanding.

May God Bless Everyone today and in the days to come.

Ask for Help

by Joyce Meyer

Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].
—James 5:16

Addictions, habits, or negative attitudes can wear you out. If you need deliverance from some wrong behavior, the Bible teaches that the Holy Spirit is your Helper (See John 14:6). Confess your need to God, and ask Him to deliver you.
He may lead you to confess your faults to other believers whom you can trust to pray for you. The Word says that we are to confess our faults to one other so that we may be healed and restored. If you are out of control in some area, be honest about it. Today can be your day of deliverance.

Seven Sayings From The Cross

My prayer and wish for you and for me is we truly understand what took place on the cross and what it means for our future.

My wish is this little devotional starts us on a path for an unshakeable faith in a God and Saviour who has unshakable faith in us.

Happy Holy Week and God Bless.

Seven Sayings from the Cross

Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, 'Today shalt thou be with me in paradise'
- Luke 23:43

The second lesson we learn as we look to Jesus on the cross is this: think of others in the midst of your own suffering. Here, in the darkest hour in human history, we find the One who is suffering is thinking of others.

On the cross, Jesus was not only bearing the wounds from scourging, beating, slapping, and crucifixion -- he was bearing all the sins of all His people and the wrath of God for them. There are no words to describe or parallel experiences to illustrate the misery this must have been. It was literally hell on earth.

How unexpected, then, to see one of the thieves crucified next to him turn to him and ask for a place in his kingdom. But, as striking as that scene doubtless was, it must have been even more shocking to see the One who was suffering so much turn to the thief and speak to him words of comfort.

If Jesus can think of others at a time like this, surely we are utterly without excuse for ever being self-centered or self-absorbed in times of personal struggle or affliction. If Jesus can help and encourage and comfort while hanging on the cross, then we can certainly minister to others in the midst of our own pain or grief or loss.

Are you struggling under the weight of some great difficulty or sorrow? Then look to Jesus on the cross. Not only does he have words of comfort for you, but his example is a model for you. May looking to Jesus take your eyes off yourself and inspire you to reach out to those around you who are hurting and hopeless and needy.

Long Ago The Lord Said To Israel

It's the best week if the year and this year is so memorable with jubilee right on its tail.
So with that in mind, we need to remember what God has to say to Israel and about Israel for the Jew's are the apple of God's eye.
But we should end be saddened because the same words God say to and about Israel is the same words He uses to express how He feels about us.
So with that being said, we need to look at how we react to it. May we never get to busy to forget who Jesus is and how much He loves us not only on this week but in the days to come.
Don't let things chip away our relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ!!!!!
Happy Holy Week and God Bless.

Long ago the LORD said to Israel: "I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself." (NLT) -Jeremiah 31:3
God never fails to love but we do. How often do we need to be reminded of our love for our spouse? Every day, minute, perhaps moment? We get engulfed by our busy work life that our real priorities in life seem to slip away. Many times, it's a small chip each day. How long will you wait? Remind yourself with a photo of her in places you visit often. It may be a wallpaper of him or her on your phone or better yet a real physical photo of the two of you in your wallet.

Christ Became Our Substitute

If you want to get the 411 on why Jesus did what He did for us, just read this little devotional and your doubts and questions will be given an insight as to the why.
I couldn't tell it any better than what Billy Graham can and I'm thankful I came across this. This little devotional will serve as a reminder for me for years to come and anytime I need a reminder on how someone could love me as much as Jesus does.
Happy Holy Week and God Bless.
All for Love
by Billy Graham, from Wisdom for Each Day
He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed. — Isaiah 53:5 (NIV)
Flogged… Bits of glass and rocks shredded the flesh of His back…. Crucified… Nailed to the rough wood of the cross and left hanging there to experience the excruciating pain of death by suffocation…
Why did Jesus willingly die such a violent death? The Bible says He went to the cross for one reason: to become the final and complete sacrifice for our sins. Each of us has sinned; each of us is guilty before God; each of us deserves to die. God is holy and just, and sin must be punished.
But Christ became our substitute; He died in our place. He was without sin, but all our sins were placed on Him, and He willingly took the punishment and death we deserve.
The Bible says, Christ died for sins once for all, the Righteous for the unrighteous, that He might bring us to God. —1 Peter 3:18 (AMP).
Christ died for you! Why did He do this? He did it because He loves you, and He wants you to spend eternity with Him in Heaven. Have you responded to His love?

Sanctification Of The Soul

As we start the best week of the year, we must continue to remember we are not the ones on trial here.

The trial is over and there has already been a volunteer to take our place and His name is Jesus, the Savior of the world.

We must keep our eyes on what He did for us and take to heart with what that means and this little devotional helps put things into perspective.

Happy Holy Week and God Bless.

Sanctification of the Soul

by Joyce Meyer

So get rid of all uncleanness and the rampant outgrowth of wickedness, and in a humble (gentle, modest) spirit receive and welcome the Word which implanted and rooted [in your hearts] contains the power to save your souls.
—James 1:21

Once you are born again, your spirit has been reborn and you will go to heaven when you die. But God is not finished—He is just beginning. You need to “work out your own salvation with fear and trembling” (Philippians 2:12 KJV). In other words, your soul needs to be saved. The soul is often defined as the mind, the will, and the emotions. Each of these areas needs salvation.
The Holy Spirit works relentlessly to transform the whole man into God’s perfect will. This process is called sanctification. When your soul is renewed with His Word, you think His thoughts and not your own. Submit yourself to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to change every thought and motive.

Pray Without Ceasing

As you can already tell and know, I am always looking to strengthen my prayer life and I just live what this little devotional has to say about prayer and what it means to pray without ceasing.

Prayer is confusing and I need how the help I can get. I think this little devotional will have an impact on my life in the days to come and I will be forever thankful.

God Bless.

Pray without ceasing
- 1 Thessalonians 5:17

What is the first thing you do when you wake up? What is the last thing that you do as you go to bed? What occupies your thoughts, attention, and affections throughout each day? Is it communion with God? If not, why not?

Through the finished work of Christ on the cross we have access to, and the favor of, the only Being in the entire universe who has the wisdom we need for decisions, the strength we need for struggles, the love we need for relationships, the goodness we need for right living. When we pray, we enter into the presence of God and we commune with him from our hearts.

The question, then, is not why Paul gives us such a difficult commandment -- to pray without ceasing -- but why we would not avail ourselves constantly of the single greatest opportunity that Christ's blood has now provided us. We should pray, not to appease some vague sense of guilt or obligation, but to enjoy the great pleasures, pursue the great holiness, and enter the great presence of the Lover of our souls.

Pray to him today. Pray to him tomorrow. Pray to him when you're sad. Pray to him when you're exhausted. Pray to him when you're exuberant. Pray to him when you feel empty and when you feel full. Pray to him without ceasing.

Showing Mercy To Israel

Israel is the one and only apple of God's eyes.

So if you and I think Israel doesn't matter, than we need to resd the bible again and allow the Holy Spirit to show us just how and why we need to align our support with Israel.

We pray for the peace of Jerusalem today and in the days to come.

God Bless.

Showing Mercy to Israel

The Lord will not forsake His people.

It is important for us all to acknowledge the truth of what Jesus said to the Samaritan woman at the well: “Salvation is of the Jews” (John 4:22). Without the Jews, we would have no patriarchs, no prophets, no apostles, no Bible—and no Savior! Without all these, how much salvation would we receive? None! The Bible makes it clear that God requires the Christians of all other nations to acknowledge their debt to the Jews and to do what they can to repay it. In Romans 11:30–31, Paul summed up what he had been saying about the debt and the responsibility of the Gentile Christians toward Israel.
For as you [Gentiles] were once disobedient to God, yet have now obtained mercy through their [Israel’s] disobedience, even so these [Israelites] also have now been disobedient, that through the mercy shown you [Gentiles] they [Israel] also may obtain mercy.
In other words, because of God’s mercy that has come to us Gentile Christians through Israel, God requires us in our turn to show mercy to Israel. How shall we fulfill this obligation? The following are four practical ways that we may do so.
First, we can cultivate and express an attitude of sincere love for Jewish people.
Second, we can enjoy and demonstrate the abundance of God’s blessings in Christ in such a way that the Jews may be made jealous and desire what they see us enjoying.
Third, we can seek the good of Israel through our prayers and petitions, as the Bible exhorts us to do. (See Romans 10:1.)
Fourth, we can seek to repay our debt to Israel by performing practical acts of kindness and mercy.
Thank You, Lord, that You are committed to Israel. I intercede for that nation now. I acknowledge my debt to the Jews, and I proclaim that I will repay it in practical ways, as well as by showing mercy—for the Lord will not forsake His people. Amen.

No Voice Mail In The Throne Room

There is so much truth and encouragement in this little devotional.
For me, it was light bulb moments and I'm going to take the these words to heart and begin to change my prayer life because there is a whole big world out there who just waiting for me to get my act together.
God Bless.
No Voice Mail in the Throne Room
by Gloria Copeland
“Be constant in prayer.” Romans 12:12, The Amplified Bible Have you ever called out to God and received an answer like this?... “Hello, this is God. I’m away from the throne right now. But if you’ll leave a number and a brief message at the sound of the beep, I will return your call.” Of course not! God is on call 24 hours a day, every day. He is always ready to listen and respond to you. You never get voice mail when you call God. Never! Even at 3 o’clock in the morning, He is right there, ready to visit with you. In fact, He sent His Spirit to live in you so He could communicate with you every moment of the day. If you haven’t already done so, it’s time you woke up to that fact and started taking advantage of it! Set aside special time to pray and commune with God every day. I’ll never forget when I first began to do that without fail. It was after I had heard a prophecy given by a man of God. At that time John was just a teenager, and I was concerned about him. He wasn’t a bad boy, but he was doing things I knew he shouldn’t do.
A word from the Lord said that if we’d spend just an hour or two in fellowship with Him each day, all would be well. You know, just an hour or two a day is not very much to invest in order to have everything in your life be well. And I can vouch for the fact that it really works because today, all is well in our lives. All of our children, including John, are dedicated to the Lord and serving Him with us in ministry. So make a quality decision to spend time with God every day. I guarantee, when you call out to Him, you won’t get voice mail! Speak the Word “I am constant in prayer.” —Romans 12:12,

I Love You Brother

I have to admit, I don't have a good relationship with my sister and brother. Not by my choice by any means but circumstances that beyond my control.
And I know I need to forgive them but the wounds run deep. And the more I seem to forgive something else pops up from deep within.
I also know that the hurts from my family effects how I treat others. I also understand how important forgiveness is but Lord it's so hard to do and lots of times I don't want to or have any intentions to.
But thankfully I have a loving Father who understands my pain and waits patiently for me to get my crap together.
The power of forgiveness and the ability to love others is a goal I purpose to achieve.
God Bless.
“I Love You, Brother.”
by Kenneth Copeland
“And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have aught against any.” Mark 11:25
“Brother Copeland, some time ago I was deeply hurt by another Christian. I’ve tried to forgive, yet every time I see that person, I still feel angry and resentful. Will I ever be able to truly forgive?” I’ve been asked that question many times. And the answer is, “Yes, you can, and you must!” Unforgiveness is downright dangerous. It will make your spirit feeble and your prayers ineffective. It will pull the plug on your faith so completely that you won’t have enough power to move the molehills in your life—much less the mountains. In Mark 11, Jesus didn’t say, “When you stand praying, try to forgive” or “When you stand praying, forgive if you can.”
He simply said, “Forgive.” Period. Jesus made forgiveness a command. It would be unjust for Him to command us to do something we couldn’t do. So you can be sure it’s within your power to obey His command and forgive—no matter how badly you’ve been wronged. Most people don’t realize it, but unforgiveness is actually a form of fear. Quite often we don’t forgive because we’re afraid of getting hurt again. We’re afraid we’re never going to recover from the damage that person has done to our lives. If you want to freely forgive, get rid of those fears. Cleanse yourself from them by the “washing of water by the word” (Ephesians 5:26).
Fill your mind and heart with promises of God that apply to your situation. If you’ll do that, I can assure you from my own experience, your feelings will change. It may not happen overnight...but it will happen. One of these days, almost without thinking, you’ll throw your arms around that person, give him a big hug and say, “I love you, Brother.” What’s more, you’ll mean it from the bottom of your heart.
Speak the Word “I forgive those whom I have anything against so that my prayers are not hindered.” —Mark 11:25

For He Loves Us

For he loves us with unfailing love; the LORD's faithfulness endures forever. Praise the LORD! (NLT) -Psalm 117:2
When things go wrong and my prayers don't get answered I have tendency to get mad and throw a fit and screaming on top of my lungs why does God hate me.
This truly shows how much I don't know the God I claim to serve. However, after searching and determination and learning who I am in Christ, I now know that God doesn't hate me.
My thought life couldn't be further from the truth but thank God, my heart never succumb to my flesh.
So let us remember today and in the days to come, God doesn't hate us when we don't do something He's asked us to, or when the battle is worse than we think we can handle, or if we sin, or have unpleasant thoughts. He knows we are only human and that is why we need Him.
God Bless.
Do you secretly think God hates you? Do you see God as someone who is just waiting for you to mess up? Beware, this is a false thought. He loves you without any conditions. He chases you down to show you His never-ending love. He is faithful and loyal. You are loved very much. Don't ever forget this because no one could love you more than God.
