Be On Guard. Stand Firm In The Faith

New Year and the coming of Jesus is getting closer and with that being said, this little devotional could be just what we need to make it for what lies ahead.
But my prayer is come Lord Jesus come but if You don't see fit to come this year, may You find me faithful.
God Bless.

Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. (NLT) -1 Corinthians 16:13
As we anxiously await Christ's return we must be courageously strong. A firm, steady strength is needed to overcome obstacles. This strength is rooted in faith in God. The strength of God has the power to battle any fear. Stay strong in your faith when all else seems to fade.

Gratitude

My New Year's resolution right here.

More gratitude and less complacent, envy, and all those other yucky sins I don't like to think about dealing with.

I am going to be more than a conqueror this year! I am aiming for the prize of the high calling!

God Bless.

Gratitude

Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise...unto our God
- Psalm 147:7

In this verse we see at least three crucial elements to godly gratitude.

First, thanksgiving above all involves communication with God. Twice the directive is given: "sing to the Lord" and "sing to God." We too often talk about God without communing with God from our hearts. The God who gives us richly all things to enjoy, the God from whom every good gift comes, wants to see our appropriate response of gratitude directed to him as the Giver.

Second, biblical thanksgiving is worship. There is a clear parallel in this verse between singing "with thanksgiving" and singing with "praise". Thanksgiving is praising God; it is acknowledging him as the source of all blessing. And so true thanksgiving is only found where people are worshiping the one, true God. Everything else is just idolatry.

And finally, biblical thanksgiving eventually also becomes public exhortation. Because the one true God is worthy of worship and thanksgiving from all his Creation, proper thanksgiving is not only worship directed to God, but it is also an exhortation for every one else to join you. True thanksgiving is not only worship, it is evangelism. It is the public declaration of the worthiness of God to receive worship.

May you be engaged in this godly gratitude today. Expressing to God your thanksgiving, worshiping God because he deserves it, and exhorting others to join you.

Find Your Perfect Fit

Ever feel like you don't belong? Than may you find some splice in this little devotional.

Never loose your hope and continue to build your faith in in Him and Him alone. For He is all we need.

God Bless.

Find Your Perfect Fit

by Joyce Meyer

[Urged on] by faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed and went forth to a place which he was destined to receive as an inheritance; and he went, although he did not know or trouble his mind about where he was to go.
—Hebrews 11:8

If you are doing nothing with your life because you are not sure what to do, then I recommend that you pray and begin trying some things. It won’t take long before you will feel comfortable with something. It will be a perfect fit for you. Think of it this way: When you go out to buy a new outfit, you probably try on several things until you find what fits right, is comfortable, and looks good on you.
Why not try the same thing with discovering your destiny? Obviously there are some things you cannot just “try”—such as being an astronaut or the president of the United States—but one thing is for sure: You cannot drive a parked car. Get your life out of “park,” and get moving in some direction. I don’t suggest going deep in debt to find out if you should own a business, but you could begin in some small way, and, if it works, take it to the next level. As we take steps of faith, our destinies unfold. A confident woman is not afraid to make mistakes, and if she does, she recovers and presses on.
Lord, I want to be moving in the right direction with my life. I trust You to guide my steps as You did Abraham. Amen.

All The Promises Of God Fine Their Yes

Such a great little devotional that needs to  be read by one and all.
So may you find all of His promises to be your yes's!
God Bless.
All the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory. (2 Corinthians 1:20)
Prayer is the place where the past and future are linked repeatedly in our lives. I mention this here because Paul links prayer with God’s Yes in this verse in a striking way. In 2 Corinthians 1:20, he says (with choppy Greek that comes through in choppy English), “That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.”
Let’s try to smooth that out. Here’s what he is saying: “Therefore, because of Christ, we say Amen to God in our prayers to show that God gets the glory for the future grace we are counting on.” If you’ve ever wondered why Christians say Amen at the end of our prayers and where that custom comes from, here’s the answer. Amen is a word taken straight over into Greek from Hebrew without any translation, just like it has come into English and most other languages without any translation. In Hebrew, it was a very strong affirmation (see Numbers 5:22; Nehemiah 5:13; 8:6) — a formal, solemn, earnest “I agree,” or “I affirm what you just said,” or “This is true.” Most simply, “Amen” means a very earnest Yes in the context of addressing God. Now notice the connection between the two halves of 2 Corinthians 1:20. The first half says, “All the promises of God find their Yes in him.”

The second half says, “That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.” When you realize that “Amen” and “Yes” mean the same thing, here’s what the verse says: In Jesus Christ, God says his Yes to us through his promises; and in Christ we say our Yes to God through prayer.

Time To Be A Blessing

It's that time of year and remember the reason for the season and it's not about us but to be a blessing not only to the people around us but also to the Almighty Himself.
God Bless.

Time to Be a Blessing
What fills your time during the holidays? Baking Christmas cookies, getting ready for Advent, shopping for gifts, school activities for the kids—and the list goes on. In all of the activities surrounding Christmas, don’t forget about your ability to help someone else.  When Jesus was here on earth, He talked about being a servant, but what did He mean? And how does it apply to us today? When He talked about being a servant, He was describing someone who lives to benefit others and someone who sacrifices for another person’s joy.  Something powerful happens when you serve others—when you don’t think of yourself, but you put the needs of someone else before your own.

You’ll find joy and deep satisfaction in your life. Jesus set the greatest example of a perfect servant…His whole life on earth was about serving others.  We see one example of Jesus serving others in John 13 when He washed the disciples' feet. In those days, men wore sandals, and the roads were not paved; they were plain, old dirt. By the time a day ended, the disciples' feet were really dirty, and Jesus offered to wash them. He chose this very practical task to teach His disciples a great lesson about serving one another. Serving others is not typically viewed as a high, or esteemed position, and yet Jesus said it is the highest of all. That’s because when we help others, the One we are actually serving is Christ. That is one of the purposes of being a servant—to show others the love of God that He has shown us so that they too can share in it—and then pass it on. Serving is simply helping. It is doing things for others. Here are some examples of practical ways to serve others… Visit someone who is alone during the holidays Take someone out for lunch Surprise a family you know by making them dinner and bringing it to their home If someone asks you for a favor…go above and beyond Let someone go before you in line at the grocery store Volunteer to babysit for a single mom or dad so they can do something they enjoy Bake Christmas cookies for your neighbor  Listen to a friend who needs to talk You can make a decision to look for ways to help others, not just during the holiday season, but each and every day. And when you do, you’re not only going to improve their lives, you’re going to boost your own. And you will experience true joy and satisfaction.  Serving God by Serving Others Find out how you can have a servant’s heart.
Read More  FROM JOYCE MEYER: “You can make any day better when you take your focus off of self and begin looking for ways to help and serve others.”
JUMP IN… Galatians 5:13 says, we should use the freedom Christ has given us to “serve one another in love.” What can you do to serve someone this week and show them God’s love? Look over the list of practical ways to serve others and pick one you can do— or think of your own—and then go for it!

Gold, Frankincense, And Myrrh

Amen to this little devotional.
Let it be so....
God Bless
When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy. And going into the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh. (Matthew 2:10–11)
God is not served by human hands as though he needed anything (Acts 17:25). The gifts of the magi are not given by way of 4assistance or need-meeting. It would dishonor a monarch if foreign visitors came with royal care-packages. Nor are these gifts meant to be bribes. Deuteronomy 10:17 says that God takes no bribe. Well, what then do they mean? How are they worship? The gifts are intensifiers of desire for Christ himself in much the same way that fasting is. When you give a gift to Christ like this, it’s a way of saying, “The joy that I pursue (Matthew 2:10!) is not the hope of getting rich with things from you. I have not come to you for your things, but for yourself. And this desire I now intensify and demonstrate by giving up things, in the hope of enjoying you more, not things. By giving to you what you do not need, and what I might enjoy, I am saying more earnestly and more authentically, ‘You are my treasure, not these things.’” I think that’s what it means to worship God with gifts of gold and frankincense and myrrh. May God take the truth of this text and waken in us a desire for Christ himself. May we say from the heart, “Lord Jesus, you are the Messiah, the King of Israel. All nations will come and bow down before you. God wields the world to see that you are worshiped.
Therefore, whatever opposition I may find, I joyfully ascribe authority and dignity to you, and bring my gifts to say that you alone can satisfy my heart, not these.”

Are Any Of You Suffering Hardships

He wants to know how you are doing....there aren't any truer words than these and the ones written below.
He truly is a good God. It's time we started acting like.
God Bless.

Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. (NLT) -James 5:13-14
God wants to be apart of our daily lives. He wants to know how you are doing! He instructs us to cry out to Him when things feel hard and to give thanks when things couldn’t be better. Prayer is our direct line to God. He wants to hear from you. Make prayer apart of your daily rhythm.

Desiring To Please Him In All Things

Why is it, we as human beings have a problem with wanting to please others and not don't have the same desire to please God?

Because we live in a fallen state and we have to train our minds it is better to please our Saviour than to please people.

We truly are in a battle for our minds.

God Bless.

Desiring to Please Him in All Things

by Joyce Meyer

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong in behalf of those whose hearts are blameless toward Him. Did I mess any
—2 Chronicles 16:9

Anyone who loves God wants to please Him. Just having the desire to please Him pleases Him. A desire to please God is necessary— it motivates us to seek His will in all things. People who have a deep desire to please God may not perform perfectly all the time, but they keep pressing forward and always have the attitude of wanting to improve.
In 2 Chronicles 16:9, we see God is searching to and fro for someone whose heart is perfect toward Him. The Scripture does not say He is looking for someone with a perfect performance, but rather someone with a perfect heart—a heart desiring to please Him.

If Christ Has Not Been Raised

Power insight and points into Jesus' resurrection and what it means to for us.
I am truly beyond grateful for His resurrection power.
Gos Bless.
If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins. (1 Corinthians 15:17)
Here are ten amazing things we owe to Jesus’s resurrection: 1) A Savior who can never die again. “We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again” (Romans 6:9). 2) Repentance. “The God of our fathers raised Jesus, whom you killed by hanging him on a tree. God exalted him at his right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel” (Acts 5:30–31). 3) New birth. “According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead” (1 Peter 1:3). 4) Forgiveness of sin. “If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins” (1 Corinthians 15:17). 5) The Holy Spirit. “This Jesus God raised up, and of that we all are witnesses. Being therefore exalted at the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this that you yourselves are seeing and hearing” (Acts 2:32–33). 6)
No condemnation for the elect. “Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died — more than that, who was raised — who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us” (Romans 8:34). 7) Jesus’s personal fellowship and protection. “I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:20). 8) Proof of coming judgment. “[God] has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed; and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead” (Acts 17:31). 9) Salvation from the future wrath of God. “[We] wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come” (1 Thessalonians 1:10; Romans 5:9). 10) Our own resurrection from the dead. “[We know] that he who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and bring us with you into his presence” (2 Corinthians 4:14; Romans 6:4; 8:11; 1 Corinthians 6:14; 15:20).

I Will Lift Up My Eyes To The Hills

Here is another devotional to help remind us God will be there when we need help or in our time of need.
He is truly the friend that sticks closer than a brother.
God Bless.
“I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.” Psalms‬ ‭121:1-2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Lift your eyes to the hills from where your help comes from; your help comes from the Lord. You are never helpless. You are never without support. However, it’s up to you to receive the help He abundantly provides. When you call on the Lord, His Holy Spirit will come to your aid; He will mightily rush to your rescue. He will help you lift your hands in worship. He will help you sustain under pressure without breaking. He will help you seize every promise that He’s made to you. Don’t worry my friend, He will help you. There will never be a moment in our lives when we will not need God’s help. So we reach up and reach out our hands like little girls and say, “Father! Lift me up! Father! Fill my cup! Father! Set me free! Father!
Strengthen me!” And His Holy Spirit will do just that! Prayer: Yes, Lord! I need your help. I can’t make it without you. I can’t do anything without you. But with you, nothing’s impossible. So I cry out, heal me, strengthen me, set me free and help me to persevere by faith. I receive your supernatural help. In Jesus’ name, Amen. (Read John 16:7-15)

Above And Beyond

This is such a truth worthy little devotional that gives you a powerful punch of what Jesus would like us to live.
However, it is easier said than done yet, He still has faith in us. May we never learn to just live a life but to live a life walking in the footprints of our Savior.
God Bless.
"If you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?" (Matthew 5:47)
Devotional
Matthew writes what Jesus says about love for our enemies. Jesus calls us to go above and beyond, to do more than is required, more than is the norm. This term is usually associated with military personnel but here in this passage it was used when He spoke to the masses people like you and I. To live and portray Christ-like character is what we are commissioned to do, we ought to take it up a notch and be different from the rest of the world. Let's remember that we are the light and the salt of the earth, therefore we go above and beyond.

Whom Will We Serve

A very important question every person must answer for themselves. May we answer that question like our lives depends on it and it does!

God Bless.

Whom Will We Serve?
My members, the parts of my body, are instruments of righteousness, yielded to God for His service and for His glory.
Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?(Romans 6:16)
Paul said that when we yield ourselves to someone, we become slaves of the one we obey. If we yield to, let’s say, immorality, we become slaves of immorality. We cannot yield to sin without becoming its slaves. Thus, we must decide to whom and to what we want to yield. Some of us don’t like choices, but in the spiritual life, we cannot avoid them.
At the end of his career, Joshua gave Israel a choice:
Now therefore, fear the LORD, serve Him in sincerity and in truth....And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
(Joshua 24:14–15)
Joshua challenged the Israelites to make a choice, and this choice has never changed. It is not whether we will serve; it is whom we will serve. Serve we will. Before we were redeemed, we had no choice. We could not keep from sinning; there was no other option but to be slaves to sin and servants of Satan. After we experience redemption through faith in Jesus Christ, though, we have another option: we can choose to serve God and be “slaves” to righteousness.
Thank You, Jesus, for Your victory on the cross. I choose to serve the Lord, and I proclaim that my members, the parts of my body, are instruments of righteousness, yielded to God for His service and for His glory. Amen.

Quote Of The Day - You Need To Have An I Am

Everyone needs to get understanding and wisdom in the words written below.
But most of all, everyone needs a new mindset and why not start with the words written below.
God Bless.
Quote of the Day -Joyce Meyer “You need to have an “I am” and an “I can” attitude. Fill your thoughts and your words with these confessions daily, and then you will bring more joy into your life!    I am a new creation in Christ (see 2 Corinthians 5:17).
I can live in perfect peace (see Isaiah 26:3).    I am slow to speak, quick to hear, and slow to anger (see James 1:19).    I can do all things through Christ, Who strengthens me (see Philippians 4:13).    I am more than a conqueror in Christ (see Romans 8:37).    I can have the mind of Christ (see 1 Corinthians 2:16).    I am dead to sin and alive to righteousness (see Romans 6:11).    I can overcome evil with good (see Romans 12:21). Those Who Oppress The Poor

If this little devotional doesn't get you thinking, than I am not sure what will.
The poor obviously has an special place in   God's heart and we would be wise not to break it. Just saying....
God Bless.
Those who oppress the poor insult their Maker, but helping the poor honors him. (NLT) -Proverbs 14:31
God cares about the poor, oppressed and needy. He is a God of justice. We please our Maker when we show kindness to those in need. Find one practical way to show compassion towards someone in your life today.

He Always Comes Through, If You Wait On Him

The Lord promises to make a way for us and this little devotional just goes to show just how much He will move mountains for the people who love Him.
May He move all your mountains as the day's and year progresses.
God Bless.

“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19
The Lord promises His people that He will always make a way. Just because you don’t see how it will be done, doesn’t mean He can’t and won’t do it for you. You may be in the last hour, running out of time, wondering how and when God is going to come through like He said He would. Sometimes, it can be tough waiting on the Lord. But He always comes through. He always comes through, if you wait on Him. His Word tells us, “The trying of our faith produces patience” (see James 1:3).
Maybe your faith in God is being tried and you are having to trust and depend on Him like never before, but God says, He will make a way out of no way for you. Stay vigilant. Stay persistent. Stay in faith. Look for His way out like you’re looking for lost keys. Saying to yourself, I know it has to be here somewhere! And, it is. Don’t lean to your own understanding, wait on God. He is the same yesterday, today and forever (see Hebrews 13:8)! He always comes through, if you wait on Him.
Prayer: Father, you are good and faithful. Even when I am in troubling situations, you know how to make a way out of no way for me. Thank you! Help me learn to trust you more. Help my faith in you to deepen. Even when situations don’t feel good or look good, you are good and you are faithful. Show me your way out and help me not to lean on my own understanding. Be glorified in my life. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Invite Jesus Into Your Marriage

I wish I had found this little devotional before I had gotten married but even still, after being married for 17 years, I can still see and use the wisdom written in the words below.
Jesus is essential to every part of our lives, the following is prove of just that.
God Bless.
Invite Jesus Into Your Marriage
A wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus' mother was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. - John 2:1-2, NIV
Jesus accepted the invitation to a wedding! Have you invited Jesus to participate in your marriage? Marriage was His idea. He gave the basic ground rules for it. He knows how it works best. And He longs to be invited to come into yours. Danny and I invited Jesus to come to our wedding from the first moment we were engaged. In fact, inscribed inside each of our wedding bands is a triangle that signified there are three of us in this relationship. God is at the apex, Danny and I at the lower corners. Our commitment was that as we grew closer to God individually, we would also draw closer to each other. If you need a miracle in your marriage, start by inviting Jesus into the relationship. You will be blessed, not only by your increased awareness of His Presence, but also by the knowledge that He is there when unexpected problems and crises arise.

A New Commandment

Although the elections are over for this year, I still feel as if this little devotional is for today.
We, as the Christian, need to lead by example not only during the election and the politics of it all but also in all those days afterward. There is a world watching and waiting for us to rise up, take back our land, move the world by our beliefs and compassion, and make the King of Kings known all the while shouting from the mountain top that He lives!
God Bless.
So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. (NLT) -John 13:34
In a time when politics abound and culture is at war with itself, how do we react? Should we jump in the middle, pick a side, and point fingers? Do we volley attacks at our own brothers and sisters who think differently? The first rule of thumb is to not pass judgment. Then, seriously determine what is the most loving response, one that would inspire others. Couldn't this world use a bit more love?

Christian Living

Amen! And Amen! And one more Amen for the maximum effect!

Read the following little devotional and be blessed.

Christian Living

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven
- Matthew 5:16

Everyone appreciates good works. Many people do good works. Philanthropists, volunteers, and even Hollywood stars are seen doing good works around the globe every day. But "good works" is not what God is interested in. God is supremely concerned for the glory of God.
It is for this reason that Jesus was not satisfied to simply command charitable deeds, random acts of kindness, or the many other good works that all the world hails. Rather, Jesus tells us, "Let your light so [even so, after this manner] shine" that when people see your good works, they will praise -- not you, but -- your Father in heaven.
When you have opportunity to help others, be courteous, show love, give of yourself -- are people encouraged to give you credit, or do you point them to Christ as the source and motivation for any good that you do? It is so easy for our pride, our selfishness, and our people-pleasing nature to take even our best Christian efforts and turn them into an occasion for self-glory.
But, amazingly, Jesus himself never did that. He always pointed to his Father, gave his Father credit, directed the attention to his Father. If the Son of God himself would disdain to receive the acclaim of men for his good works, how much more should our lives be mirrors that reflect the glorious goodness and grace of our God?

Learn And Do

I know I have said it before but preach it Joyce!

Wisdom overflow right here in this little devotional.

Let us become a doer!

God Bless.

Learn and Do

by Joyce Meyer

Pray that the LORD your God will show us what to do and where to go . . . Whether we like it or not, we will obey the LORD our God to whom we are sending you with our plea. For if we obey him, everything will turn out well for us.
—Jeremiah 42:3, 6 NLT

According to the Scripture above, when the Israelites asked Jeremiah to speak to God on their behalf, they had already decided they were going to learn what to do, and, no matter what it was, they were going to do it.
I wonder what would happen if people today had this same attitude every single time they sat anywhere the Word was being preached. What would your life be like if every time you went to church or listened to a teaching CD or read the Bible you had the mind-set,Whatever I learn today, I’m going to do it!
James 4:17 says if we know what to do and don’t do it, that is sin. The wrong things we commit are sin, but the right things we omit are also sin. Make a decision to be a “doer” of God’s Word, and not merely a “hearer.”
Power Thought: I obey God promptly.

PRAISE BEFORE MY BREAKTHROUGH

Oh, how I love this little devotional. And I hadn't realized just how much I needed a good friendly reminder on how to deal with all the negative going on in my life.
So let the praises of Him be forever on our lips.
God Bless.
PRAISE BEFORE MY BREAKTHROUGH -
ACTS 16:16-40 “About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and prisoners were listening to them, and suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken. And immediately all the doors were opened, everyone's bonds were unfastened”.

One of the most valuable lessons we can learn in the Kingdom, is to praise before we see the breakthrough we’re looking for.  What I love about this passage of scripture in Acts 16, is that even though Paul and Silas are arrested and in prison, there seems to be a confidence in who they know God to be. He is the same God whom they have encountered, and who they have seen heal and set people free. So as they sit in there prison cell, chains around their ankles, they begin to pray and sing hymns to God. They’re not thankful and singing praise because they are free, they are singing praise because they are confident in who God is, and that He has a plan! The incredible part of this story isn’t just that their breakthrough came, but when Paul and Silas sang their praises, breakthrough came to the whole prison!! It says when the earthquake shook, ALL the doors were open, and EVERYONE’S bonds were set free!!
When we worship and praise through our hard situations and dark seasons of life, the breakthrough’s that we see become an open door for the people around us to see breakthrough’s in their own lives! And the confidence we gain as we see God move in our lives turns into authority to proclaim and see Him do it again in the lives of others. In the next chapter as Paul and Silas go to the next city, there is a group of men that again try to arrest them, and as they condemn them they say “these men who have turned the world upside down have come here also..” (Acts 17:6). It’s so amazing that as we see breakthrough in our own lives, the reputation and testimony of God makes way into places we never thought imaginable. I pray that as you read this chapter and the story of Paul and Silas, that you would be encouraged to praise in the middle of whatever season you’re in, and whatever you’re going through. Praise really is a doorway to our breakthrough, both for us and for the people around us and in our lives.

He Did It Before, He Will Do It Again

Be Encouraged My Friend! His word won't be void in your life or mine!
Let us keep the faith and running our race for union the end, it will all be worth it.
God Bless.

“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:19
My sister, you’ve seen the LORD come through for you many times over the course of your life. You’ve seen how He has made a way out of no way for you. Don’t pretend like you don’t know what your God can do. If He’s done it before, He is doing it again! Right now! The Word of God promises that He makes a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Just when you’re fighting not to feel discouraged because there seems to be no way, God causes you to look up and see the way He’s made for you. God’s not going to make a way, He has already made a way, and it’s now up to you to ask Him to open your eyes and help you see the way He has made. Don’t lean to your understanding. Allow God to show you what He wants you to see. He’s not worried, and neither should you.
Prayer: Lord, I know you’ve made a way for me. Open my eyes and help me see your way and grace me to walk in it. In Jesus’ name, Amen. (Read Proverbs 3:5-6)
