Devotional 

The Psalmist declares that God is the rock of salvation. We often keep record of our lives based on the many bitter troubles we have endured: that was the summer I was injured, that was the year we lost a relative,... But the presence of God in the midst of each trouble should never be overlooked. There is not a single situation that He will not help us through. Instead of counting the many bitter troubles, acknowledge the presence and blessings of God in every situation. He is faithful and will revive and bring you through them all.
