Be Clause That Makes It All Happen

I love blessings. I love being blessed and lately, I love blessing others. For months now, I have found ways of blessing people I would have never thought of if God hadn't directed me.

I have lived way to long under the old convent. Needless to say, I was dead. I have lived in depression and despair.

I want to live under God's blessing so I have to be willing to do what He tells me to do and He says live and bless others.

I have to make God's word alive in my life. I need to live my life knowing who I am and whom I belong to.

I can't live under the junk anymore. I need the everlasting life to overflow within me and spread into others. Yes, Lord, may it be so.

Be Clause That Makes It All Happen

Hebrews 8:12
12For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

We are no longer under the old covenant. We are now under the new covenant. And in this new covenant, God says that He will do three things for us:

Lead us — “I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts.” (Hebrews 8:10) These are the laws of faith, love and liberty to guide you in everything you do. It is a spontaneous, dynamic, active and intimate way to be led by God.

Work miracles for us — “I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” (Hebrews 8:10) The phrase “I will be their God” denotes a miracle-working God. So if you are sick and God says, “I will be your God,” get ready for healing! If you are poor and God says, “I will be your God,” get ready for His supply!

Cause us to know Him effortlessly — “… all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them.” (Hebrews 8:11) The Greek word for “know” here is eido. It means to know intuitively without effort. This means that you will know God easily.

Do you want to experience all these blessings in your life today?

“Of course, Pastor Prince, I want to be led by God. I want Him to work miracles in my life. I want to know Him intimately without straining or striving.”

Then, you need to know the clause that makes it all happen: “For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” The words “no more” in the Greek carry a strong double-negative sense. So God is saying, “I will never, by no means, remember your sins!”

Beloved, the more you believe this in your heart, the more you will see those blessings fulfilled in your life. When you realize how much God has forgiven you and remembers your sins no more, you will know Him, His ways and His will for you intimately and intuitively without effort.

So believe in your heart today the clause on which all these blessings hinge, and get ready for miracles and hopes fulfilled in the days ahead!

Do you believe without a shadow of a doubt that you are redeemed?

If you do, then reach out and give away the hope you have within you. There are people who need you and your hope.

Don't let anyone take away your hope, your beliefs, or relationship with the one who saved you.

Freely receive, freely give. Stand fast and reach out to the highways and the byways and bring them all in!

Launch out in reckless belief that the redemption is complete, and then bother no more about yourself, but begin to do as Jesus Christ said—pray for the friend who comes to you at midnight, pray for the saints, pray for all people.

Pray on the realization that you are only perfect in Christ Jesus, not on this plea—“O Lord, I have done my best, please hear me.” So many of us limit our praying because we are not reckless in our confidence in God. In the eyes of those who do not know God, it is madness to trust Him, but when we pray in the Holy Spirit we begin to realize the resources of God, that He is our perfect heavenly Father, and we are His children.

Esther Was An Orphan

Esther. What can I say about Esther. Nothing profound I can a sure you.

But what I can say, is this little devotional spoke volumes to me not where Esther or Mordecai is concerned. But in the actions.

If you want to be technical, this story can be construed as being full of bullies and temper tantrum' s.

Did I mention selfishness? But I digress. No, I don't. For me, it is easy to see myself in the king, Haman, and Mordecai.

However, who I need as a role model in my life is Esther. She could have panicked and fell apart but she planted her feet and put her trust in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob all the while getting her praise jam on.

Actions to live by.

Esther was an orphan who had been raised by her bachelor uncle, Mordecai. When King Ahasuerus decided that he wanted a new wife, his overseers staged the largest beauty pageant in all of recorded history. Esther won the beauty contest and found favor with everyone inside the palace walls.

When Uncle Mordecai refused to bow to Haman, one of the king's chief advisors, it was decided that not only would Mordecai be killed, but Haman received permission from the king that the entire Jewish nation would be slaughtered.

When Mordecai learned of this dastardly plan, he tore his clothes, put on sackcloth and ashes and went out into the midst of the city and wailed loudly and bitterly. Mordecai's response to horrific circumstances unfortunately, may echo your response to your life's events. When you don't get your way, you follow the example of Mordecai, put on your mourning clothes and then whine and complain so loudly and passionately that the entire city hears you! If you selfishly and childishly choose to walk through life while dressed in sackcloth and ashes, you will deny yourself intimacy with the King of all kings! Oh ... you are still a Christian and you will still spend eternity with Jesus, however, your preoccupation with your pain will deny you the sweetness of cherished fellowship with Him while on planet earth.

We mistakenly believe that if we cry out in pain loud enough, we will demand an audience with God. On the contrary, the true password to His presence is thanksgiving! When Queen Esther heard of the pity party that Uncle Mordecai was throwing in front of the king's gates, she sent new garments to Mordecai but he refused to put them on.

The Holy Spirit has given to us a new wardrobe to wear as well, but often we refuse to embrace the garment of praise and instead choose to parade through life in the garment of pain. The King of all kings knows that His presence is the place of victorious living for you and the door is thrown wide open for you to enter. Unfortunately, you are unable to walk into the inner courts of His palace while dressed in the disappointment of your circumstances.

Put on the garment of praise! Rather than writhe in emotional pain ... put your hands in the air and sing yourself into His presence!

You Are Next

Jealousy can be a dangerous thing and most of the time, Your not happy for the person when you should be because your asking yourself when will it be your turn.

I know I can't be the only one who has, no, feels this way. I know, I am horrible but human.

So when I came across this little devotional, my human side screamed out
but my spiritual side was telling me get on board and keep the faith for this to shall pass.

Stiff upper lip...get in line...for your are next and your reward is better than what you could imagine or think.

You Are Next!

Psalm 50:10 10
For every beast of the forest is Mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills.

Suppose you have just heard of someone whose financial debts have been miraculously cleared. Or your elated friend has just told you that despite being an average student in school, he scored straight As in all his subjects.

Perhaps on Sunday, you heard a newlywed couple share about how they won an all-expense-paid trip for two to Hawaii, or how a once-childless couple is now expecting their miracle child. When you see or hear of others being blessed, do you ever wonder when it will be your turn?

Or do you even find yourself saying, “Oh, he got blessed with the very thing that I have been praying for. There goes my blessing.” Now, just because man’s economy operates on the principle of shortage, it does not mean that God operates in the same manner.

So the next time somebody gets blessed, tell yourself, “I won’t be disheartened. I won’t be jealous. I am the next one to be blessed!” Always remember that God does not have to bless anyone at your expense. Nor does He have to bless you at anyone’s expense. We don’t have to be jealous of each other.

There is a portion that God gives to you that no man can touch because it has your name on it — “A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven”. (John 3:27) Our God is a rich God. He owns the whole universe. He has contacts and blessings you do not know of and which are reserved just for you!

There is more than enough for everybody with plenty of leftovers. In fact, you will not be able to take it all because when the blessings start coming in, they will come in a net-breaking, boat-sinking style. You will have to call for your friends in the other boats to come and help you! (Luke 5:1–7)

That is the kind of blessings that our God gives. So get ready for your blessings and overflowing abundance!

Say It Again

There are times over my life when my dad has threaten me to say what I said again when I had a attitude that wasn't pleasing to be around.
I was cocky and didn't want to be bothered as teenagers are fond of behaving seeing as they know everything.
And normally I would push the issue and repeat what I had said with more venom than before causing the situation to take a downward spiral real fast.
As I get older, I long for my son to say I love you again and again but he is growing up and busy doing his thing so it's time for me to get a grip.
So when I came across this little devotional, I saw a different meaning to the words say it again. These words aren't weak but powerful if I use the word of God to overtake and rid myself of my enemy.  In which case, I should be willing to say the word of God again and again anytime I deem necessary, which in most cases, could be every minute of the day.

Say It Again!
Satan has no place in me, no power over me, no unsettled claims against me. All has been settled by the blood of Jesus!
I can well remember when I first began to make this kind of testimony. I thought, I wonder where the devil will hit me next. I know of people who will not testify because they are afraid of what will happen when they do, but that is just playing the devil’s game. Remember, this is his way of keeping you from doing what will put you beyond his reach. It is only by the word of your testimony that you will get the benefits of the blood.
The first time you say it, all hell may break loose. Well, praise the Lord! Say it again. The Bible says, “Let us hold fast our confession” (Hebrews 4:14). And then, when everything really turns loose, Scripture says, “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering” (Hebrews 10:23). Keep on saying it. It does not depend on our feelings. It does not depend on our situations, symptoms, or circumstances. It is as eternally true as the Word of God.
Forever, God’s Word is settled in heaven. (See Psalm 119:89.) Satan has no place in us, no power over us, and no unsettled claims against us.
Thank You, Lord, for the blood of Jesus. I proclaim that Satan has no place in me, no power over me, no unsettled claims against me. All has been settled by the blood of Jesus! And I intend to declare this over and over again. Amen.

When You've Been Married Awhile

I rarely see my husband as a gift from God but mostly I see him as a pain in the a $$!

So when I came across this little devotional, I took notice. I allowed the words to soak through the tough interior I think I have trying to see what God was trying to tell me.

I'll be honest, I had to read this little devotional several times and my guilt of not only how I treat him but how I treat people in general gave me a rude awakening.

I knew at that moment, I had to humble myself and a line myself to God's heart and see not only as my husband as a gift but I needed a to see people as gifts as well.

A gifts that need to be unwrapped and loved and treasured in which God claims them to be.

When You’ve Been Married a While: See Your Spouse as God’s Gift We live in the age of the consumer.

Our fickle buying habits drive companies to pamper us with better and better products and better and better service.

Every year hotels get better, cars more luxurious, and computers faster. Every year cable TV brings more channels, Wal-Mart offers an even broader array of stuff, and there are even more types of coffees to order from your local barista.

If you look at your spouse with consumer eyes, you will soon be disappointed. This year’s model may look a lot like last year’s, definitely showing some wear. There is no money-back guarantee. There is no customer service department. There is no one you can sue.

So then don’t look at your spouse with consumer eyes. Look with the eyes of faith, seen through the lens of God’s Word. “He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the LORD” (Proverbs 18:22). Get it?

Your God who loves you is blessing you by letting you be married--it’s a sign of his favor, not a desire to torture you. You can spend your time itemizing the ways in which your spouse falls short. Or--you could take inventory of all the good qualities your spouse does have.

That very attitude makes everything better. If your spouse feels judged and inadequate, he may just give up and live down to your low expectations. But if she feels appreciated, she will strive to live up to your words of praise.

Mercy For Me, A Sinner

There is something I should be thankful for every day but I manage to take it for granted...mercy.

I'm more than a little thankful for it, I may just use it a little more than I should.

Truth be told, I don't respect mercy for if I did, then my behaviors and life would line up more than it does.

But thank God, mercy still rewrites my life every hour, every minute, and every second of the day.

Mercy for Me, a Sinner

Scripture Reading: Psalm 51:1-9 The tax collector . . . beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner. - Luke 18:13

Sometimes people who come to faith in Christ as adults are reluctant to join a church, because they feel that everyone else there has got their act together and is virtually perfect.

The truth, though, is that every one of us is often like the tax collector in Jesus’ parable—a sinner in need of God’s forgiveness and grace.

That’s why Psalm 51 rings so true in our hearts and minds. It also helps us remember that even the great King David of Israel, who wrote this psalm, was no better than any of us—even though he was called “a man after [God’s] own heart” (1 Samuel 13:14; 16:1-13).

If we already belong to a church, we must also be careful not to act like the Pharisee in Jesus’ parable, looking down our noses at others whom we think of as sinners—for we have all “sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us” (1 John 1:9)

Anyone who comes to the Lord, confessing their sins and recognizing Jesus as the only Savior, is justified by God. And the church of Christ is not a place where people have it all together; it’s simply a community of sinners saved by grace. Have you experienced God’s mercy?

If so, go and share that good news with others so that they can experience it too!

Prayer: Lord, thank you for the assurance that we are saved by your grace. Thank you for accepting us as we are, and for forgiving us in Jesus’ name. Amen.
