The God Of The Whole Earth

He most certainly is. Be encouraged.

God Bless.

Bible Name of God : THE GOD OF THE WHOLE EARTH

THE GOD OF THE WHOLE EARTH

Isai 54:5 For thy Maker [is] thine husband; the LORD of hosts [is] his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.

Is He not the Creator of the whole earth, of the stars of the heaven, and of all things? Could we live and breathe and have our being without Him? Is He not the Ruler of the whole earth and did He not make all the laws {physical and metaphysical} which we are forced to obey or suffer the consequences of their violation? Yes, there is but one God for Jew and Gentile. How grateful we should be that He has given to us His Word wherein He has Revealed Himself as a God of Love Who paid the penalty of our sins and died that we might live!

Our gracious God, keep us under the shadow of Thy wings this day. Amen.

A Good Character

Such a good thought provoking quote below. May you find the encouragement you need in the word's written below.

God Bless.

Charles Spurgeon Quote of the Day

A good character is the best tombstone. Those who loved you and were helped by you will remember you when forget-me-nots have withered. Carve your name on hearts, not on marble.

~Charles Spurgeon (1834-1892)

No Anxiety

The world is full of anxiety. People have very little hope. We are the hope. We know the solution. May we reintroduce the Hope that is willing to save the world.

God Bless.

No Anxiety
Today : No Anxiety

TODAY’S VERSE
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Philippians 4:6 (NIV)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
Anxiety can ruin a day. Most of our anxiety centers around something terrible we think will happen. Of course, this would make anyone anxious; but the truth is that most of the time the terrible things we think will happen, don’t! That is the dilemma. We believe so many lies. No wonder Jesus said that the truth would set us free. So what is our definition of terrible? Basically, it is something that we think will be more than we could ever endure. It is a frightful dread. It is beyond human endurance, worst than anything we can imagine. According to William Backus in his book, “Telling Yourself the Truth,” there are four areas of anxiety. They are: Fear of losing someone’s love. Fear of making someone angry or upset. Fear of public embarrassment. Fear of pain and death. Now Jesus comes along and says, “Don’t let your heart be troubled.” Paul writes, “Do not be anxious about ANYTHING!” Backus suggests that you can minimize your fears until you see them for what they are, lies, and do not be anxious. So, today realize that you have a choice and choose not to be anxious. Today believe the truth that you can trust God and choose not to be anxious. Today when anxiety comes, know that the terrible dread that it conjures up is a lie and follow Paul’s instruction, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”

TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, I give You my anxious heart. Forgive me for believing so many lies. Help me change my core beliefs and bring them in line with Your word. Today I choose faith and choose to bring all my anxieties to You.
AMEN

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION & MEDITATION
I choose not to be anxious but instead will trust God
In your mind, go to a quiet peaceful place. As you are there picture the presence of God in that place. Sense His love for you. Leave that place and begin to visualize yourself walking throughout your day, taking God’s peace with you. See anxiety come to you and instead of being anxious you say, “I choose not to be anxious!” and then you give your anxiety to God. As you trust Him, watch His peace swallow up your anxiety and leave you feeling calm and safe. Picture yourself doing this over and over throughout the day. Each time you feel the anxiety getting weaker and His peace getting stronger. Finish the day by saying, “I choose not to be anxious but instead will trust God.”

Then Keep

I love this little devotional.  Be encouraged.

God Bless.

Then keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies. (NLT) -Psalms 34:13

Controlling our tongue is one of the hardest things to do! We have the power to speak life or create death around us through our words. When we feel hurt, pain, anger, and unrest well up in our bodies it’s important that we pause to give space for us to process these feelings before letting words come out of our mouths. Learn to calm your body, mind, and you can better control your tongue.

Let's Not Get Tired

Thought provoking and I just wanted to pass this little devotional along to whom may need it.

God Bless.

So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. (NLT) -Galatians 6:9

Some days are simply overwhelming and cause us to want to give up. God desires us to be persistent in our good work. Maybe you’re trying to mend a broken relationship with a family member and some days are very tough. Sometimes work can be hectic and unforgiving. And sometimes it’s a dream of yours to work on something that you’re passionate about and gifted in. There are peaks and valleys for all of these journeys, but remember to be strong, hopeful, and believe in your heavenly father.

Doubt

I hate doubt. I struggle with doubt. So if I can get encouragement in the area by any means the I'm doing it.

May you find encouragement as well.

God Bless.

Introduction

Doubt is often the result of lost hope that a brighter day is on the horizon. You’ve seen so many bad days that it’s hard to hope for better. Maybe you are experiencing hardship or suffering, and you wonder how God could be concerned about you and let it all happen. Today’s reading is a lament of someone experiencing grave hardship. He pours out to God his anguish and turmoil that have driven him into depression. But while lamenting, something happens that calms his doubts and fears and raises hope within him. He begins to reflect on what God has done and that drives his doubts away.

Pray

God, I am struggling to have hope that you are working in my favor. Teach me to trust your love for me and your faithfulness, even when my circumstances suggest otherwise.

Read

The speaker in today’s Scripture reading gains a new perspective on his suffering when he thinks on God’s faithfulness.

Lamentations 3:17-24

Reflect

What does the speaker remember? He calls to mind that the love of God is unceasing, his kindness is dependable, and “the Lord can always be trusted to show mercy each morning” (v. 23 CEV). Despite all the things that made him feel hopeless, despaired, and insecure about his future, this moment of reflection centers him—it brings him back to truths about God that give him confidence that better things are ahead.

Respond

Let John Newton’s 1779 hymn “Amazing Grace” fill your heart with hope that God is faithful and will see you through your hardships. Let it relinquish your doubts and build your confidence in God who will lead you all the way.

Quote Of The Day - Today Lord

Amen! May we meditate on the word's written below.

God Bless.

Quote of the Day -Joyce Meyer

“Today Lord I am going to do my best with Your help and for Your glory. I realize that there are many different people in the world with a variety of opinions and expectations. I will concentrate on being a God-pleaser and not a self-pleaser or man-pleaser. The rest I leave in Your hands lord. Grant me favor with You and with men and continue transforming me into the image of Your dear Son. Thank You Lord.”
