Israel

This is a little devotional explaining why God has not and will not turn His back on His chosen people.

As Christians, we are called and ordered, yes ordered to stand with Israel in all things.

With this one command comes a huge promise of blessings. In the end, we will see who was right but as for me and my house, and my hope is yours, we will be praying for the peace of Jerusalem.

God Bless.

Pray for Israel
“Pray for peace in Jerusalem. May all who love this city prosper. ” Psalm 122:6 (NLT)

Arab-Israeli conflict has been brewing over a 4000 year timespan, with roots stemming from Abraham’s two sons, Isaac and Ishmael and escalating all throughout the Old Testament. Fast forward to today, we find Israel in need of our prayers like never before. It is our responsibility as Christians to pray for the peace and safety within the borders of God’s holy city. God said “Whoever touches you touches the apple of my eye” (Zech. 2:9) As we pray, we are praying for a people dear to God’s heart. We are also praying for the soon return of Jesus. Walk in obedience to God and pray for the peace of Jerusalem, pray for financial and military assistance, pray for diplomatic support, and that Jesus will return and establish His Kingdom. Do this and God will reward you and richly bless you.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I pray for the people of Israel. Your word tells me that they are the apple of Your eye. I pray that You bless them with peace and divine protection from the Palestinian armies. I pray Your light shines in the midst of darkness and the US will provide continued diplomatic support and faithful assistance to our friends. As their enemies are coming against them to kill them, Lord I pray that You lift up a standard against them and stir the hearts of Your people to pray. Come Lord Jesus. Come. Amen.
