Yes, he is!
God Bless.

Sometimes the reason we are wounded in our soul is because a person we thought we could trust has betrayed us. That can be a very painful experience. Some people, when they have felt let down, cheated on, or betrayed in some way, begin to wonder if they can ever trust anyone again—even God.
I want you to know today that God can be trusted all the time, in every way. Moses wrote in Numbers 23:19, God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? And Jesus said in John 4:24, God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth. Both scriptures, one from the Old Testament and one from the New Testament, remind us that God is not a human being, and He does not think, speak, or act like humans do. He is higher and better than any person could ever be. He is incapable of treating us badly or doing us wrong. Everything He does is motivated by love, and He is faithful in every way.
Looking back over my life, I can firmly declare that God is faithful. Even at times when I could not see Him or feel Him, He has been there for me. He is there for you, too. As long as we believe He is working, He will reveal to us at just the right time what He has been doing for us. You may feel like you have to wait for Him for a while, but don’t give up. Keep trusting in His faithfulness.
One way I remind myself of God’s faithfulness is by looking at various journals I have kept for more than 40 years. In them, I record things God has asked me to do, or not to do, and things He has done for me. As I read and remember what God has done for me in the past, I am strengthened to believe He will come through for me again in the present moment and in the future.
I encourage you today to think about times God has been there for you, times He has rescued you, times He has provided for you, and times He has shown you His love. If you have not known Him very long, maybe you would like to do what I have done and start keeping a journal. Begin to write in it what you are trusting God for, and when He comes through for you, write that also. Soon, you will have a record of His faithfulness that you can reread any time you need to be reminded that He is faithful.
Prayer of the Day: Father, thank You for Your unwavering faithfulness. Help me trust You, even in moments of doubt and in every situation, good or bad, amen.
