Deuteronomy 8:11-14

I think the growing trend today is forgetting where we came from and Who brought us through.
Remembering the Lord God in all we do has to be the highest praise we can give Him.
God Bless.
Deuteronomy 8:11-14 Be careful that you do not forget the Lord your God, failing to observe his commands, his laws and his decrees that I am giving you this day.
Otherwise, when you eat and are satisfied, when you build fine houses and settle down,  and when your herds and flocks grow large and your silver and gold increase and all you have is multiplied, then your heart will become proud and you will forget the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. God is going to hit Israel with abundance from the promised Land. This is not the first time for the warning: "do not forget the Lord your God". Specifically about pride, "your heart will become proud and you will forget the Lord your God". Sin always distorts who God is and would have you forget God entirely. The plots of evil, of which Satan is at the helm, seek to ensnare and deceive our hearts with lies. Sin is always looking for a weak spot in your life where you are not depending upon the power of Christ. Trust in the power of God to conquer the sin in your life.
