It is getting harder and harder to keep the faith. When I hear about all these big time preachers and singer's denouncing God, I try not to judge for I know and understand how hard this walk truly is.
There are times when God just feels to far away and He doesn't appear to be doing anything in my life or in this world.
So, I am thankful for these little devotional that helps keep me on track for it truly is a rough life out there.
God Bless.
“Staying with it—that’s what God requires. Stay with it to the end. You won’t be sorry, and you’ll be saved. All during this time, the good news—the Message of the kingdom—will be preached all over the world, a witness staked out in every country. And then the end will come” Matthew 24:13-14, MSG. If you are wanting to know what God requires of you in this day and time, He wants you to stay with it. Stay with the Lord who saved you. Stay with the Word that taught you. Stay with the spiritual family who welcomed you and who ministered to your needs.
Stay with showing the love of Christ even in the face of turmoil and persecution. Stay with it, my sister. Don’t fold under the pressure. Don’t walk away from it all. Let God help you to endure to the end. This is when you dig your feet in the sand and turn your face towards the wind and say, “Lord, I receive your help to stay with it, to stand for righteousness, and to endure. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
