Care For The Flock

I love this little devotional. I love how it's worded and I love the meaning and purpose in what it's trying to accomplish.

I have a way to go but I now have a guideline I can use to set me on the course to care for the flock God has placed before me.

Do you know how your flock is doing?

Care for the flock that God has entrusted to you. Watch over it willingly, not grudgingly--not for what you will get out of it, but because you are eager to serve God. (NLT) -1 Peter 5:2

You have a flock that God has placed into your care, even if you don't realize it. Friends, children, parents, or neighbors are under our care. We often push ourselves to care for them out of obligation, but this makes it difficult if our heart is not willing to serve.
