King of Jericho

The past can be a killer. No one wants to live there all the time and no one should.

However that is easier said than done. While this little devotional talks about the past, it also gives us hope.

We are valuable in God's eyes no matter what we've done! So, let's live a life of value!

So the king of Jericho sent orders to Rahab: "Bring out the men who have come into your house, for they have come here to spy out the whole land." (NLT) -

Joshua 2:3 Rahab was a noble woman who put her faith in God by protecting the invading Jewish spies from her fellow King. By the way, she was also the town prostitute. That didn't stop her from stepping out and being courageous. Nor did it stop God from using her in the future. Did you know that Jesus was her descendent?

When you are challenged in your faith because of your past, take courage. You are very valuable.
