Speaking To Your Mountains

Want to be a mountain mover? This little devotional is for you.
Have mountains you need moved? This little devotional is for you.
Any and all problems can and will be solved if your willing to take charge of your faith and put your trust in the one who made you.
Take control of the mind and the heart will soar to a new level of freedom and will do the work to be a constant reminder that the God you serve is bigger than your mountain.
Sometimes, however, the mountain needs a reminder of who your God is so remind it.
God Bless.
Speaking to Your Mountains
Whoever speaks to their mountain, without any doubt, and believes the things he says, it will be done and he will have whatever he says. What is this mountain?
It could be anything - your problems, failures or anything that is hindering your relationship with God. Jesus clearly says, “Speak to your mountain and cast it out.” How can you do that? By believing that you can overcome every situation! All you need is faith as small as a mustard seed and that faith is released only by speaking words. By speaking to your mountain, you acknowledge that God has the power to change your situations. Our God is so big that He can move mountains, He can walk on water, He can raise the dead from the grave. This same God lives in us. The same supernatural power is available for us. He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). If you sincerely believe without doubting, you will receive. God wants you to know that He does not want you to settle for less than all the blessings He has in store for you. A pain in your knee can be addressed in the following manner: “I command you, pain, leave my body, in the name of Jesus.” Remember how Jesus rebuked the raging wind and sea, by authoritatively saying, “Peace, be still!” And there was a great calm. Perseverance pays great dividends.
Prayer Father, I believe that with You in me, I will overcome any difficult situation I encounter. I speak to my mountains and they are cast out, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Shrug Therapy

Sometimes there isn't anything we can do when things go haywire. But, that doesn't mean we shouldn't at least find some encouragement to help get through the storm and that is exactly what Joyce does in the following devotional.

So when life throws us lemons, let's live by faith and cast our cares on the one who controls everything from the sunrise to the sunset plus everything in between.

I know this is easier said than done but in the end, (and it is okay to struggle your way through), it will be worth it. HE WILL NEVER LET US DOWN.

God Bless.

Shrug Therapy

by Joyce Meyer

Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully. —1 Peter 5:7
There are some things you can control in life—your choice of job, who your friends are, what you do for fun. There are others you can't—what other people say and do, the fluctuations of the stock market, the flat tire you got this morning. How you react to things you can't control helps determine your stress level and quality of health. People who regularly get upset over small things suffer in many ways. People who shrug them off do a lot better. The Bible calls it "casting your care."
Shrugging doesn't mean indifference; it simply means acknowledging that there is nothing you can do to change things at that particular moment. The flat tire has already happened; dealing with it by calling AAA makes sense, throwing a tantrum and kicking it doesn't. The low-stress approach is to shrug things off. Life happens. God works in mysterious ways.
If you trust Him to work things out, you'll navigate the dips of life with barely a blip. I spend time ministering in India and Africa, and I'm confronted with the terrible poverty and hunger I see there. I care very deeply for these people and do everything I can to alleviate it, but I realize I am only one person and can only make my contribution. I can let it burn me up and shake my fist at the unfairness of it all, but what does that accomplish, other than make me sick and possibly render me unable to do anything?
I do what I can, but I don't get upset about what is beyond my control. Do your best, pray, and God will do the rest!

What It Means To Bless The Lord

This little devotional is wisdom at its finest.
We make things so hard when it comes to what we think God wants and wants from us. He truly is a simple God. Sin and our mindset gets way to much credit and the simplicity of the Lord, gets pushed to the wayside.
It is time to put simplicity into our walk and lose our religious thoughts for they are more trouble than what they are worth  so let's seal the deal with a KISS (keep it simple stupid) and begin to bless the Lord as we go about our every day lives.
God Bless.

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! (Psalm 103:1)
The psalm begins and ends with the psalmist preaching to his soul to bless the Lord — and preaching to the angels and the hosts of heaven and the works of God’s hands. The psalm is overwhelmingly focused on blessing the Lord. What does it mean to bless the Lord? It means to speak well of his greatness and goodness. What David is doing in the first and last verses of this psalm, when he says, “Bless the Lord, O my soul,” is saying that speaking about God’s goodness and greatness must come from the soul. Blessing God with the mouth without the soul would be hypocrisy. Jesus said, “This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me” (Matthew 15:8). David knows that danger, and he is preaching to himself that it not happen. Come, soul, look at the greatness and goodness of God. Join my mouth, and let us bless the Lord with our whole being.

Jesus Reached Out

There are no truer words than these ones written below.
This is my life to a tee. Lord knows I want my life going in a different direction but distractions are my Kryptonite and before you know it, a week had gone by, then a month, then a year, and my life is nowhere near where I was hoping to be.
Now that I'm older and a little bit wiser, I now know I can't change my life or my circumstances without first putting Jesus in the center of it and with His help, I can see the change I've so longed for and so can you.
Jesus first and foremost! All you have to do is reach out and take the hand of the Man from Galilee.
God Bless.
Jesus Reached Out
Julie Schwab
Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. Matthew 14:31
Sometimes life gets busy—classes are hard, work is exhausting, the bathroom needs to be cleaned, and a coffee date is on the day’s schedule. It gets to the point where I force myself to read the Bible for a few minutes a day and tell myself I’ll spend more time with God next week. But it doesn’t take long before I’m distracted, drowning in the day’s tasks, and forget to ask God for help of any kind. When Peter was walking on water toward Jesus, he quickly became distracted by the wind and waves. Like me, he began to sink (Matthew 14:29–30). But as soon as Peter cried out, “immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him” (vv. 30–31). I often feel as if I have to make it up to God after being so busy and distracted that I lose sight of Him. But that’s not how God works. As soon as we turn to Him for help, Jesus reaches out without hesitation. When we’re unsettled by the chaos of life, it’s easy to forget that God is standing in the middle of the storm with us. Jesus asked Peter,
“Why did you doubt?” (v. 31). No matter what we’re going through, He is there. He is here. Next to us at that moment, in this moment, ready to reach out and rescue us.
Lord, help me to turn to You in the midst of my busyness and life’s distractions. Thank You for always being here, ready to catch me. God is waiting for us to turn to Him so He can reach out and help.

How Do You Define Success

Here is a different way of looking at a well know scripture. And I love the outlook this little devotional gives it.
There is so much hope and encouragement written below and I hope you will appreciate it as much as I do.
God Bless.

How Do You Define Success?
One of the verses I hear quoted most often when it comes to God’s favor is Romans 8:31: “If God is for us, who can be against us?”
As I’ve been thinking about this verse recently, I began to consider the converse of that statement: If God is against you, what difference does it make who is for you? The only One whose favor we desperately need is God. It doesn’t matter what any attorney, doctor, employer, employee, friend, or family member thinks about you if God is not for you. That’s because without His favor, you have no chance for real success! God is the ultimate measure of what’s real and what’s good. Yet so many try to find contentment without Him even in the picture. But those plans will ultimately fail as they realize there is no true satisfaction in this world without a relationship with God. Find your contentment in God, not in how others regard you. All the accolades in the world could never make up for hearing those words at the end of your life, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
Prayer for the day: Pray that God would help you find your contentment in Him as the ultimate measure of success in your life!

God's Guidance

Who doesn't need or want God's guidance even if they aren't sure what to call it or understand it is what they have been looking for since forever.
Whether or not you've utilized it, God still gives it and when we listen to it, we can be unstoppable isn't that thought much better than spending our whole life in the wilderness wondering where God is?
God Bless.
God’s Guidance
How do we know what God’s plans are for our lives? The Lord says, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go, I will guide you with My eye” (Psalm 32:8).
The Lord says, “I will”. He wants to direct our paths, so that we are not destroyed but have abundant lives. The Bible says, Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path (Psalm 119:105). We need to maintain a daily habit of reading God’s word because, primarily, He speaks to us through His Word. The Bible contains words of comfort, encouragement, advice, hope, direction, and peace. Sometimes, the Lord chooses to speak to us through our circumstances. We may be trying to achieve things, but they may not be happening.
We may have a number of obstacles in our path to achieving those dreams. We need to realize that the Lord, in His perfect wisdom, closes those doors so that He can open wider doors of opportunity for us. Sometimes, the Lord chooses to speak to us through people - our parents, pastors, friends, relatives. The Bible says, In the multitude of counsellors, there is safety (Proverbs 11:14). The advice we receive needs to be in agreement with God’s Word. God leads us and guides us when we are willing to hear His voice.

Prayer Father, I thank You for Your Word, which promises that You will lead me and guide me in all my ways. Help me to be sensitive to Your direction in my life. I love You Father. Amen.

A Merry Heart

There is nothing better than laughing with friends, family, and even when no one is watching.
And everyone knows what the bible has to say about it but the question is, why don't we do more of it?
The only I thing I can think of is the busyness of life and what it throws at us plus, when we make the choice to follow life instead of just letting go and enjoying it.
Maybe we can start the enjoy your life movement with the hopes it will catch fire and people will being to live again and it shows threw their pores. What is the worst can happen?
God Bless.
A Merry Heart
We all know that laughter is the best medicine; it is a stress buster and even boosts our immunity to various diseases. I believe that laughter not only blesses the person who laughs, but also the people around him. Who doesn’t want to hang out with a person with a cheerful countenance? When you have a merry heart, it shows in your attitude towards life.
And guess what; it’s contagious! When we are able to smile in the face of trouble, we give others hope too. People around us start to behave in a similar manner. Thankfully, as Christians, we are able to stay cheerful even in the face of adversity and trouble, because our focus is on the Lord. We are able to cast our extra baggage of anxiety and worry on Him. We can hope in Him and trust Him to deliver us. He promises to perfect all that concerns us (Psalm 138:8).
But, when we choose to focus on our problem instead of God, we move away from God’s presence and wallow in self-pity, which has a cascading effect, filling our hearts with bitterness and our faces with sadness. Sadness breaks our spirit and it sends out the message that God is not in control. So today, choose to focus not on the problem, but on the faithfulness of God. Get into His throne room for a fresh dose of His loving kindness and His grace that will sustain your cheerful countenance throughout the day. As you do this, the world will truly see that the joy of the Lord is your strength! Prayer Father in heaven, I pray that I would be a source of joy and comfort to the people around me.
I pray that I would not put You to shame with a sad countenance but rather confuse the enemy with wholesome laughter. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Is Your Vision From God?

I don't think I have seen a better explanation about how to know what your purpose is then this little devotional.
Trying to find your purpose can be difficult and trying but this little devotional makes it very simple.
In fact, it's like when you have a "duh" moment and you realize you've known the answer the whole time but you just needed a little reminder and this little devotional fits the bill.
So if you want to know if it's God or not, tuck these words away into your memory bank for when you need a friendly reminder (or just save the devotional like I am).
God Bless.

Is Your Vision From God?
People constantly ask me, “How do I know if something is from the Lord, or if it’s just what I want?” I tell them to look in Genesis where God came to Abram in a vision and said, “Do not be afraid…” (Genesis 15:1).
When you have a vision that is from God, you will tend to experience an initial bout of fear or intimidation at what is required of you, because a real vision requires faith. At the very same time, the visions and dreams that God gives you will build your faith as you choose to obey, take risks, and see Him make good on His promises. God gave Abram a big vision. He told him, at 75 years of age, that He would give him a son, and that through him all nations would be blessed.
Abraham would have been afraid. In fact, we know there were times his trust in God was weak. Yet God came through, and his wife bore a son when Abraham was 100 years old! If you want to know if a vision is from God, ask yourself, “Does this require me to step out in faith?” God’s vision for your life will often challenge you to step out into territory that may be unfamiliar to you.
Pray and seek discernment from Scripture, and look for God’s guidance at every step.

Prayer for the day: Pray that God would give you supernatural guidance when it comes to His leading in your life.

Favoritism

In a world where the spirit of division is working overtime, we as Christians must work even harder to keep it in the pits of hell where it belongs.
We cannot allow it to gain any more ground so let's get busy and nip it in the bud while displaying God's love instead.
God Bless.

"My dear brothers and sisters, how can you claim to have faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ if you favor some people over others?" (NLT) -James 2:1
If we truly want to follow God, it's important to not be prejudice against some and show favoritism towards others. Let's show respect to everyone, regardless of their profession, race, abilities, or financial status. God loves everyone, who are we to treat people differently? We might notice a change in our own lives when we respect everyone.

Kindness Speaks

Kindness: is what makes the world go around.
Go spread some today.
God Bless.

"I hope I continue to please you, sir," she replied. "You have comforted me by speaking so kindly to me, even though I am not one of your workers." (NLT) -Ruth 2:13

Have you been touched by someone who speaks kindly to you, even if you didn't deserve it? We are truly impacted by kindness when we need comforting the most. We can make an impression on others when we are thoughtful to those we don't know or, even more challenging, to those who aren't on our favorites list. Remember to let your good qualities shine consistently in all areas of your life. It's amazing what comes back to you.

Love's Genuine Expression

I love this little devotional and how much the author is trying to express just how much kindness matters.
Maybe it is time for us to show kindness and then step back and watch what God can do.
We might be amazed what God chooses to do though us.
God Bless.
Scripture Reading: Hebrews 13:1-3 Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. - Hebrews 13:2
What an interesting idea! By showing kindness to strangers, you could be showing kindness to a messenger of God. Buying an extra burger to share with a homeless person, helping someone change a flat tire on their car, offering a ride to a colleague who needs one—in these ways and more, God often gives us opportunities to show hospitality and compassion for someone who has a need. As I encounter people who are not part of a faith community, it saddens me when they describe Christians as less-than-compassionate people. Words I often hear in these conversations are that Christians are judgmental and condescending. Many people see church buildings in their communities as little more than clubs or political action organizations. They hear church people speak out mostly about what the members oppose. The world needs to see Christians as people of compassion—good-news people who act like Jesus.
That will happen when we nurture a habit of practicing compassion. It is not by accident that the writer of Hebrews urges readers to love each other and to look out for the needs of strangers. It’s easy to overlook the unusual or the unfamiliar. It takes the love of Christ to reach out to the stranger who might just bring a unique blessing that you never saw coming.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, open my eyes today to see the strangers around me. Show me how to receive them as one of your gifts today. Amen.

Little Is Much

I know this little devotional mentions the life of a housewife but I can assure you, this little devotional can be for everyone.
Especially for all those people who think they don't have anything to offer. Don't believe the lie, you matter and you may have affected someone without realizing it but one day, when God opens up His books, and He begins to talk about how a person came to Christ because of something someone did, and then you realize that person was you, this will be a moment no one can take away from you.
So, don't give up smiling at someone, wishing them a good day, or letting them go in front of you for you just may have been the key God needed to get His foot into their lives.
And if you never see the fruit of your labor on this side, it is the other side where it counts and think of the rewards which  are better than what we can even imagine and will last forever.
God Bless.

"Truly I tell you, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to the Messiah will certainly not lose their reward." (Mark 9:41)
Devotional
Christians do not give glory to God through praises only, but also by doing good works. Housewives especially tend to feel that they are doing nothing for the Gospel's sake that they are isolated from the world, and they are insignificant to God. Not so. Every choice you make to do the right thing, even though small, such as giving a cup of water has its reward. Women, take comfort in how valuable you are to God. You are laboring daily for the Gospel through patience and diligence, showing love to the Lord and your family.

Listen To Me Closely

In the age of social media and the affect it has had on how people act towards one another, I think this little devotional is time relevant.
No matter what we are going through and how we choose to display our troubles to others, we should always side with showing kindness no matter how we may feel.
Because in the end, it isnt about us anyway. It's about seeing people through the eyes of love because God first loved us.
So, yeah, lets put on our big boy pants and acknowledge how much kindness matters in the lives of others.
God Bless.

When the world is giving you more than you think you can handle… When you’re ready to say, “Enough already!”…
God says, “Listen close to me. All things are possible through my love.” Put aside all bitterness, losing your temper, anger, shouting, and slander, along with every other evil. Be kind, compassionate, and forgiving to each other, in the same way God forgave you in Christ.
Ephesians 4:31-32
I love Instagram. And Twitter. And Facebook. I love seeing ridiculous and beautiful pictures and learning about people and events from all over the world. But I don’t love the meanness on social media. For every cat video or sunset picture there is also anger, name calling, and ALL CAPS YELLING. We’ve all seen the arguments and hate-filled words that we type at one another – sometimes directed at people we know or sometimes at total strangers! Early Christians didn’t have SnapChat, but they had the same struggles we do: treating each other with kindness. Being mean is easy: snapping back at someone who snapped at us, being mean to that annoying person, responding in anger when someone is rude to you. But choosing kindness requires courage, compassion, and love. God chooses to love us. God chooses to forgive us. And aren’t we grateful? We don’t have any control over how other people act, but we have complete control over how we respond to them. In a world where you can be anything, be kind.

Ruler Of All Nature

I love how this little devotional depicts who God is.
Truly nothing is to small for God to handle and it's about time for God's people to grasp this not only for ourselves but also for a lost and dying world who is crying out and holding on to the little hope they have left.
Let's get this and get going so we can save the world.
God Bless.

The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the Lord. (Proverbs 16:33)
In modern language we would say, “The dice are rolled on the table and every play is decided by God.” There are no events so small that he does not rule for his purposes. “Are not two sparrows sold for a penny?” Jesus said, “And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered” (Matthew 10:29–30).
Every role of the dice in Las Vegas, every tiny bird that falls dead in the thousand forests — all of this is God’s command. In the book of Jonah God commands a fish to swallow (1:17), he commands a plant to grow (4:6), and he commands a worm to kill it (4:7). And far above the life of worms, the stars take their place and hold their place at God’s command. Lift up your eyes on high and see: who created these?
He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name, by the greatness of his might, and because he is strong in power not one is missing. (Isaiah 40:26) How much more, then, the natural events of this world — from weather to disasters to disease to disability to death. Let us therefore stand in awe and be at peace, knowing that no natural event is outside of God’s good purposes and perfect control.

The Banner Of Love

Who couldn't use a banner of love over their lives? If your are even thinking about it, well this little devotional is for you.
Or maybe you need to dig deeper in what God calls love like me or maybe you just enjoy a good devotional then read on and God Bless.

The Banner of Love
The book, Song of Solomon, speaks of love – the love of a bridegroom for his bride. It is symbolic of the love of Christ for His bride, the Church, which includes all of us. Christ’s love is unconditional and is known as ‘agape love’. The Bible says, while we were yet sinners, Jesus died for us. The greatest example of love is in John 3:16. We were all called to love, just as Christ loves us. It is very easy to love our friends but very tough to love our enemies.
However, Jesus repeatedly spoke of loving our enemies more than our friends. We go through so much of bitterness because of hurt that we harden our hearts and wase refuse to forgive and forget. I struggle every day to obey the Lord’s command to love my enemies. Sometimes, I find it difficult, but I pray that I will be able to obey this command fully, as I do not want to live in the sin of disobeying my Lord. Our struggle is not against human flesh and blood, but against the powers and principalities of this dark world (Ephesians 6:12). How do we bring ourselves to forgive and love? Only the Lord can help us. We cannot love our enemies with our own strength. The Lord says, we can do all things, not by our own might or power, but by His Spirit (Zechariah 4:6).
Gradually, as we read the Word and find solace in Him, we can overcome our hatred. The love of Christ was not in vain. He still loves the world. He went through immense pain, hurt, rejection and insults, but He never gave up His love for His people.

Prayer Lord Jesus, help me to do as Your Word commands, to love those who hate and persecute me. I cannot do this in my own strength, so help me, Lord. Amen.

His Hands

A blessing for you and yours as you go I to the weekend. Make it a great one and here's to your future.

Circumstances Cannot Control Me

Sometimes I look at the title of these little devotional's and I think and I think, really?
How dare they tell me how to feel when I'm faced with something. I know the devotional's are meant to encourage but sometimes I wish I could just slap the author and scream how dare you.
But the feeling passed and I settle down and put my mind to digging deeper and letting things go because I know enough that when I get all rowd up, the author has hit something God is dealing with or wants me to so I man up and begin again.
So let's begin....again and...
God Bless.

Circumstances Cannot Control Me!
Let’s take a quick look at Peter’s life. He was the bold disciple, who wanted to be like Jesus, and walk on water. In obedience to Jesus’ command, he did just that! But the moment he looked at the situation around him, fear crept in and he began to sink. Often, we are like Peter. Receiving bad news can be the cause of many sleepless nights. Sometimes, just hearing that the economy is bad, can cause us to fear for our jobs or our investments. We tend to look at situations around us and allow them to control our thinking, dampen our spirits and bring us down. But, as a favored child of God, I have news for you. Your life, and your perspective on life, do not have to be ruled by the circumstances around you. The same Jesus, who commanded Peter to walk on water, is with you and is walking with you through this journey called life. And He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4). He is the same One who can control the storm and the raging seas around you, and allow the worst of situations to work in your favor.
Psalm 23:5 talks about God preparing a table before us in the presence of our enemies. If God can cause our enemies to be kind to us, how much more will He cause others to treat us in the same way? Peter sank, only when his focus moved to the situation around him. His focus was not Jesus but his surroundings. Today, if you want to walk above your circumstances, let your focus be on Jesus. He is the one who controls your universe and He can change any situation in your favor!
Prayer Thank You, Lord, that You are the captain of my life and You control every situation I encounter, so that I can face life with hope and absolutely no worry. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

10 Things Yahweh Means

Its always good to dig a little deeper on  matters of God. And this little devotional gives an insight into God's name.
So let's dig a little deeper together and God Bless.

10 Things “Yahweh” Means
God also said to Moses, “Say this to the people of Israel, ‘The LORD, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, and thus I am to be remembered throughout all generations.” (Exodus 3:15)
God’s name is almost always translated LORD (all caps) in the English Bible. But the Hebrew would be pronounced something like “Yahweh,” and is built on the word for “I am.” So every time we hear the word Yahweh, or every time you see LORD in the English Bible, you should think: this is a proper name (like Peter or John) built out of the word for “I am” and reminding us each time that God absolutely is. There are at least 10 things the name Yahweh, “I AM,” says about God:
1. He never had a beginning. Every child asks, “Who made God?” And every wise parent says, “Nobody made God. God simply is. And always was. No beginning.”
2. God will never end. If he did not come into being he cannot go out of being, because he is being.
3. God is absolute reality. There is no reality before him. There is no reality outside of him unless he wills it and makes it. He is all that was eternally. No space, no universe, no emptiness. Only God.
4. God is utterly independent. He depends on nothing to bring him into being or support him or counsel him or make him what he is.
5. Everything that is not God depends totally on God. The entire universe is utterly secondary. It came into being by God and stays in being moment by moment on God’s decision to keep it in being.
6. All the universe is by comparison to God as nothing. Contingent, dependent reality is to absolute, independent reality as a shadow to substance. As an echo to a thunderclap. All that we are amazed by in the world and in the galaxies, is, compared to God, as nothing.
7. God is constant. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He cannot be improved. He is not becoming anything. He is who he is.
8. God is the absolute standard of truth and goodness and beauty. There is no law-book to which he looks to know what is right. No almanac to establish facts. No guild to determine what is excellent or beautiful. He himself is the standard of what is right, what is true, what is beautiful.
9. God does whatever he pleases and it is always right and always beautiful and always in accord with truth. All reality that is outside of him he created and designed and governs as the absolute reality. So he is utterly free from any constraints that don’t originate from the counsel of his own will.
10. God is the most important and most valuable reality and person in the universe. He is more worthy of interest and attention and admiration and enjoyment than all other realities, including the entire universe.

A Faithful Witness

All though this little devotional seemingly is centered towards women but I think it can be geared towards anyone who wants a Godly home.
And just so you can all have my two cents worth, having a Godly home is so much better than having a chaos one. You know the saying, where there is strife and chaos   you also have loosen every evil work. Yeah, for me, no thank you. I will stick with doing what God tells me to do to bring about a happy and fruitful home.
God Bless.

"So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the Word of God." (Romans 10:17)
Devotional
The Apostle Paul writes about Israel's rejection of the Gospel. Are you living in a home with unsaved loved ones? Pushing and pulling them to come to faith is a vain effort. As women we have the unique capability of setting the atmosphere which we should do in our homes. We set it by making God's Word encouraging, exalted, ever-present, and ever-obeyed. Only God's Word saves. The more it is heard in a favorable light, the more conducive the atmosphere will be for salvation by faith. Therefore be diligent at it. It is not only God's written word but also the "word" of our actions that acts as a fruitful witness.

This Kind

Finally, a devotional that speaks my language! Or at least the first few lines anyway.
But then after reading the whole thing, I now realize this little devotional is what I need to help me grow not only on a personal level but also in my walk with Christ and His children.
God Bless.
Jesus replied, "This kind can be cast out only by prayer." (NLT) -Mark 9:29
Have you ever looked at someone and thought that person could be better if he or she listened to your advice? Maybe you took a step forward and did give your unsolicited advice. While it may seem benevolent to you, many times it's painful to the other person and you may not even realize it. Have you thought about just "praying" instead of "preaching"?

Quote Of The Day - If We Say a Thing

I believe this quote is so true. My only problem is I don't put it into practice not only for myself but also for all my love ones.
It comes down to confidence not only in myself but also in the one who made me. And this my my friends goes to show just how much more I got to grow.
And I will leave it right here with me putting this quote into motion in my life so I can have a brighter tomorrow.
God Bless.
