A Prayer Of Protection

Although this prayer is geared towards daughters, I believe you can stand in the gap for your sons where this prayer is concerned.
We must never give up the fight to protect our children, as well as the children of the world.
God Bless.
Father, I pray for your daughter who is reading this right now. I pray for your divine protection over her and her loved ones. Protect her, Lord, and surround her with your angelic armies. The angels you assigned to her at birth, strengthen them, Lord, to do battle for her and bear her up. Let her know that you are with her in a great way, and no weapon formed against her will prosper. The weapons of the enemy will not accomplish their desired result in her life. She is completely covered by you on every side. You love her with an everlasting love even on her worst day, and even when she makes mistakes. Remind her that you are her Chief Shepherd, and because you are with her, she has nothing to fear. You will keep her close to your side. You will continue to fight for her and shield her from all harm. Thank you, Lord, for hearing and answering my prayer. In the name of Jesus, Amen. (Read Psalm 23; Psalm 91)

Deuteronomy 8:11-14

I think the growing trend today is forgetting where we came from and Who brought us through.
Remembering the Lord God in all we do has to be the highest praise we can give Him.
God Bless.
Deuteronomy 8:11-14 Be careful that you do not forget the Lord your God, failing to observe his commands, his laws and his decrees that I am giving you this day.
Otherwise, when you eat and are satisfied, when you build fine houses and settle down,  and when your herds and flocks grow large and your silver and gold increase and all you have is multiplied, then your heart will become proud and you will forget the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. God is going to hit Israel with abundance from the promised Land. This is not the first time for the warning: "do not forget the Lord your God". Specifically about pride, "your heart will become proud and you will forget the Lord your God". Sin always distorts who God is and would have you forget God entirely. The plots of evil, of which Satan is at the helm, seek to ensnare and deceive our hearts with lies. Sin is always looking for a weak spot in your life where you are not depending upon the power of Christ. Trust in the power of God to conquer the sin in your life.

Standing For Truth

Truth and Amen. Time to for an uprising so a change can take place that will effect the whole world bringing about a new love and respect for who we are to be representing.
God Bless.

In recent times, we have developed a peace-loving, soft-spoken, tame and harmless brand of Christian of whom the world has no fear and for whom it has little respect. We are careful, for instance, never to speak in public against any of the false cults lest we be thought intolerant. We fear to talk against the destructive sins of modern civilization for fear someone will brand us as bigoted and narrow. Little by little we have been forced off the hard earth into a religious “cloud-land,” where we are permitted to wing our harmless way around like swallows at sundown, saying nothing that might stir the ire of the sons of this world. That neo-Christianity, which seems for the time to be the most popular (and is certainly the most aggressive), is very careful not to oppose sin. It wins its crowds by amusing them and its converts by hiding from them the full implications of the Christian message. It carries on its projects after the ballyhoo methods of American business. Well might we paraphrase Wordsworth and cry, “Elijah, thou shouldst be living at this hour; America has need of thee.” We stand in desperate need of a few men like Elijah who will dare to face up to the brazen sinners who dictate our every way of life.
Sin in the full proportions of a revolution or a plague has all but destroyed our civilization while church people have played like children in the marketplace. What has happened to the spirit of the American Christian? Has our gold become dim? Have we lost the spirit of discernment till we can no longer recognize our captors? How much longer will we hide in caves while Ahab and Jezebel continue to pollute the temple and ravage the land? Surely, we should give this some serious thought and prayer before it is too late—if indeed it is not too late already. Verse Truth is nowhere to be found, and whoever shuns evil becomes a prey. The LORD looked and was displeased that there was no justice. Isaiah 59:15 Thought In our culture today there seem to be only two absolutes: (1) that there are no absolutes except that there are no absolutes; and (2) everything must be tolerated, since there is no absolute truth. As painful and uncomfortable as it is, we must stand up for God’s truth.
Prayer Father, give me courage and boldness to lovingly and graciously stand for You in my sphere of influence. May I be Your ambassador.

Six Ways Jesus Fought Depression

Good info to know when this ugly spirit comes a knocking.
God Bless.
And taking with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, he began to be sorrowful and troubled. (Matthew 26:37)
The Bible gives us an amazing glimpse into the soul of Jesus the night before he was crucified. Watch and learn from the way Jesus fought his strategic battle against despondency or depression. He chose some close friends to be with him. “Taking with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee” (Matthew 26:37). He opened his soul to them. He said to them, “My soul is very sorrowful, even to death” (Matthew 26:38). He asked for their intercession and partnership in the battle. “Remain here, and watch with me” (Matthew 26:38). He poured out his heart to his Father in prayer. “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me” (Matthew 26:39). He rested his soul in the sovereign wisdom of God. “Nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will” (Matthew 26:39). He fixed his eye on the glorious future grace that awaited him on the other side of the cross. “For the joy that was set before him [he] endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God” (Hebrews 12:2).
When something drops into your life that seems to threaten your future, remember this: The first shock waves of the bomb in your heart, like the ones Jesus felt in Gethsemane, are not sin. The real danger is yielding to them. Giving in. Putting up no spiritual fight. And the root of that sinful surrender is unbelief — a failure to fight for faith in future grace. A failure to cherish all that God promises to be for us in Jesus. In Gethsemane Jesus shows us another way. Not painless, and not passive. Follow him. Find your trusted spiritual friends. Open your soul to them. Ask them to watch with you and pray. Pour out your soul to the Father. Rest in the sovereign wisdom of God. And fix your eyes on the joy set before you in the precious and magnificent promises of God.

Hold Your Dream Tight And Dear To Your Heart

May we begin to dream big or go home! Or at least fade into the background and be willing to never compain about what is wrong in our lives because we refuse to get out of the boat.
The world needs water walkers to show them the way but to be able to do that, we must begin to dream again.
God Bless.

“Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” Psalm 37:4-5
Dreams rarely make sense to everybody, and you are blessed if it makes sense to anybody. However, don’t let that stop you. Hold your dream close and dear to your heart. Don’t let other people’s lack of enthusiasm cause you to become discouraged. They didn’t give you the dream, God did. He put a dream in your heart and He is going to make it a reality. You may not know when or how it will happen, you just keep moving forward in obedience to God. Your dream is great, but His supply of wisdom and grace towards you is greater!
Prayer: Father, thank You for putting Your dream in my heart. Breathe life into the dreams You have given me. I know if You gave it to me, You will give me the strength and wisdom to do it. Thank You Lord! In Jesus name, Amen. (Read 2 Corinthians 9:8)

Three different Times I Begged

In the word's of Wison Phillips, Just hold on when you are in times of trouble or when it looks like the darkness will over take you for your Redeemer drawth near to come to your rescue.
Just remember to keep on holding on.
God Bless.
Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. Each time he said, "My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness." So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. (NLT) -2 Corinthians 12:8-9
Is it a struggle by the end of the day to keep on going? Have life's circumstances pulled you into survival mode? Perhaps you have health issues that keep you holding on to life day by day. Or you are a caregiver, putting on a strong face, yet crumbling inside while trying to provide. These trials did not happen without a purpose. Loved ones are learning from you and making changes. When you have a hard time seeing the positives of your struggles, remember this, God works best when you are weak. His grace is all you need.

Let All That I Am Wait Quietly Before God

Waiting....it can be painful and seemingly unnecessary but God has His reasons for doing what He does.
But God, is it really necessary? He sometimes says,  yes it is.
So, let's do this thing called waiting with the intent of giving it our while hearts and crossing it off our to do list like a champ we are. For we know within our heartnof hearts, there is a time an a reason for the season.
God Bless.

Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. (NLT) -Psalms 62:5
When we face a problem, it’s typically our first response to busily do all we can to solve it. Surprisingly, the Bible prompts us to take a different posture. Rather than exhausting all our resources to “fix things” the Bible says we are to stop and wait for God. He is supposed to be what we hope in and therefore He should be our first place to turn when we are in need.

In All These Things

In all thing's remember who we are and who we belong to and rise up to the challenge of this lifetime while conquering it with love, grace, and mercy.
God Bless.

In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Romans 8:37 (NIV)
Prayer
Dearest loving Abba Father, today I uproot any bad seeds I have sown by repenting and acknowledging You. I ask that You destroy any negative crop in my life. I choose to speak words of faith and life so that I can partake of the fruit of victory You have in store for me. Thank You for Your grace, mercy and everlasting favor. I open my heart and mind to You and receive every blessing You have for me. Thank You for favor, the advantage for success in every area of my life. Lord, thank You for leading me to a place of blessing. Thank You for sustaining me and empowering me to fulfill Your call on my life. I choose to follow Your leading so that I can be in the place You’ve called me to. I thank You for blessing me beyond what I can see. Thank You for empowering me to rise above my circumstances and any limitations to boldly embrace the blessing You have for me.
Abba Father, I admit I have been preoccupied with so many things that worshipping You has taken a back seat in my life. I am so sorry. I do love You. I really do want to get my priorities right. Help me know and love You more and more until worshipping You becomes the most important part in my life. Lord, forgive me for all the times I strive under rules and regulations trying to earn Your love. Forgive me for making a mockery out of Your unconditional love for me. Thank You that your love is not a burden. Thank You that Your teaching shows me how to get rest for my soul. Give me that rest today I pray. Thank You Father that You do hear my prayers and that I can trust You with the timing of Your answer. Lord, grant that we who have heard your call to make disciples, will also heed your call when the challenge is not what we expected. Grant us courage and resilience to persevere, humility to learn, serve and faith to trust in you. Lord, show us what needs to change in our lives, in our daily services, in our churches, and in all the places where you have called us into your mission. Lord, help me to find people today who need to feel accepted. May these people see Christ through my words and my deeds. Help my family to stand up for what they believe and not to be swayed by the crowd. Help me to do what is good and acceptable in Your sight so that I may know beyond any doubt the good and acceptable and perfect will of God for my life. Help us experience the inspiration of the Spirit and the wisdom that comes from the Word. Help us to take comfort in knowing that you are with us to the end of the age. In the Sweet and mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen Bible Promise of the Day I will always build you up, not pull you down. God
Promises He Can Rebuild What Sin Destroyed For I will set My eyes on them for good, and I will bring them back to this land; I will build them and not pull them down, and I will plant them and not pluck them up. – (Jeremiah 24:6)

You Can Pass The Test

Just like the title states, you can pass any test the enemy throws at you as long as you are relying on your Redeemer to.get you through.

For there is nothing He hasn't gone through and defeated first. So you can make it!

God Bless.

You Can Pass the Test

by Joyce Meyer

Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well developed, not deficient in any way. —James 1:2-4 The Message
When life is filled with tests and trials, you sometimes feel like throwing in the towel. You are tempted to think God doesn’t know where you are and what you’re going through . . . or that He doesn’t care. But God permits tests in your life so He can bless you. And if you are faithful, you will see good results.
If you want to enjoy your Christian life and be used by God to help others, you must maintain a godly attitude during the time of testing. So cooperate with God and display an attitude of faith, and you will pass the test with flying colors!

Jesus Weeps With You

I think everyone can quote the scripture Jesus wept.
But have we really learned and understand what that truly means? Sure, he wept over Jerusalem but He also weeps over us and I for one am thankful I don't have to go through the sad times alone.
God Bless.
Jesus Weeps with You
In all their affliction He was afflicted; . . . in His love and in His pity He redeemed them. - Isaiah 63:9, NKJV
When was the last time you wept into your pillow at night, thinking no one cared? Is the pain so deep and your hurt so great that you cry night after night? In your misery and loneliness, do you think Jesus is emotionally detached? That He just doesn’t care? Or that He’s simply too busy to notice? Or that He is somewhat callous since He sees a lot of pain that’s worse than yours? Or that He couldn’t possibly understand how you feel? Or that He’s not concerned enough to meet your needs? Did you know that Jesus weeps with you? Did you know He puts all your tears in a bottle because they are precious to Him? (Ps. 56:8, NKJV) He has said in all of your afflictions, He Himself is afflicted. Why? Because He understands! And He loves you! Your suffering is His. Your grief is His. Your tears are on His face!

I Have Set The Lord Always Before Me

Heart wisdom alert below and word's to live by not just for today but every day.
God Bless.

"I have set the LORD always before me: because [he is] at my right hand, I will not be moved."(Psalms 16:8)
Devotional
David declares that he put the Lord in front of him always. Where are you in relation to God?
Do you think of Him when you are about to choose an outfit? Or when you choose education, either for yourself or your children? Is He the first person you strive to please with your employment? Because David knew that God was always near to him, he did not worry about being defeated. He was safe as long as the Lord was at the forefront of his life.Turn away from all the things that seek to steal that position that only God should have.

Work Out Your Own Salvation With Fear And Trembling

If this isn't a bold, drop the mic little devotional, I don't know what is.
But as the saying goes, the truth will set you free and there isn't any better truth than what is listed below. We can't change people.
Better still, we need to learn what it truly means to love someone because I think we have it all wrong in that area but what I know for certain is the Trinity is the only ones who can save this world so it's time for us to step.aside and let God do His thing by changing us which will open the door for others to see who He is and just how much they need Him in their lives.
God Bless.
“..work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” Philippians 2:12, ESV.
Don’t let your relationships be ruined because you’re constantly trying to change people. The truth is… You can’t change: • How people feel • How they respond • What they think • What they believe • How they love • How they live their life However, you can change: • How you feel • How you respond • What you think • What you believe • How you love • How you live your life Don’t spend so much time trying to change people, their feelings, their mind, their moods, their life, or their habits. God didn’t call us to change anyone. That’s His job. We have a hard enough time trying to change ourselves, let alone someone else. Accept people the way they are and let God do the rest. Focus on what you can do, which is work on you. The more someone sees your life improving for, the better and the more they see you walking in humility, the more they may be inspired to change.
Prayer: Father God, I ask forgiveness for any time I didn’t accept who you’ve accepted. Forgive me for any time I’ve tried to do your job of changing people. I humble myself right now and ask that you help me Lord to focus on working on my self and let you work on others with your love and grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God Will Destroy Anyone

Amen! Walk on and be blessed while seeing yourself as God sees you, His temple made perfect through His Son's sacrifice.

God will destroy anyone who destroys this temple. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple. (NLT) -1 Corinthians 3:17

It Is Not What Goes Into Your Mouth

Our words are a reflection of the state of our hearts so may we guard our hearts like never before.
We are a called people so, let's live like it. Others are watching.
God Bless.

It’s not what goes into your mouth that defiles you; you are defiled by the words that come out of your mouth.” (NLT) -Matthew 15:11
Our words have power! Our words are a reflection of the state of our hearts. If our hearts are filled with bitterness then unkind words are likely to come from our mouths. If we are discouraged, negativity is likely to be found in our conversations. Conversely, if we want to live joyful and holy lives our words must be filled with kindness, patience, and love.

Staying With It

It is getting harder and harder to keep the faith. When I hear about all these big time preachers and singer's denouncing God, I try not to judge for I know and understand how hard this walk truly is.
There are times when God just feels to far away and He doesn't appear to be doing anything in my life or in this world.
So, I am thankful for these little devotional that helps keep me on track for it truly is a rough life out there.
God Bless.

“Staying with it—that’s what God requires. Stay with it to the end. You won’t be sorry, and you’ll be saved. All during this time, the good news—the Message of the kingdom—will be preached all over the world, a witness staked out in every country. And then the end will come” Matthew‬ ‭24:13-14‬, MSG‬‬. If you are wanting to know what God requires of you in this day and time, He wants you to stay with it. Stay with the Lord who saved you. Stay with the Word that taught you. Stay with the spiritual family who welcomed you and who ministered to your needs.
Stay with showing the love of Christ even in the face of turmoil and persecution. Stay with it, my sister. Don’t fold under the pressure. Don’t walk away from it all. Let God help you to endure to the end. This is when you dig your feet in the sand and turn your face towards the wind and say, “Lord, I receive your help to stay with it, to stand for righteousness, and to endure. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

10 Things “Yahweh” Means

Love this! In depth, insightful, and very thought provoking. Enjoy!
God Bless.

God also said to Moses, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘The LORD, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, and thus I am to be remembered throughout all generations.” (Exodus 3:15)
God’s name is almost always translated LORD (all caps) in the English Bible. But the Hebrew would be pronounced something like “Yahweh,” and is built on the word for “I am.” So every time we hear the word Yahweh, or every time you see LORD in the English Bible, you should think: this is a proper name (like Peter or John) built out of the word for “I am” and reminding us each time that God absolutely is.
There are at least 10 things the name Yahweh, “I AM,” says about God:
1. He never had a beginning. Every child asks, “Who made God?” And every wise parent says, “Nobody made God. God simply is. And always was. No beginning.”
2. God will never end. If he did not come into being he cannot go out of being, because he is being.
3. God is absolute reality. There is no reality before him. There is no reality outside of him unless he wills it and makes it. He is all that was eternally. No space, no universe, no emptiness. Only God.
4. God is utterly independent. He depends on nothing to bring him into being or support him or counsel him or make him what he is.
5. Everything that is not God depends totally on God. The entire universe is utterly secondary. It came into being by God and stays in being moment by moment on God’s decision to keep it in being.
6. All the universe is by comparison to God as nothing. Contingent, dependent reality is to absolute, independent reality as a shadow to substance. As an echo to a thunderclap. All that we are amazed by in the world and in the galaxies is, compared to God, as nothing.
7. God is constant. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He cannot be improved. He is not becoming anything. He is who he is.
8. God is the absolute standard of truth and goodness and beauty. There is no law-book to which he looks to know what is right. No almanac to establish facts. No guild to determine what is excellent or beautiful. He himself is the standard of what is right, what is true, what is beautiful.
9. God does whatever he pleases and it is always right and always beautiful and always in accord with truth. All reality that is outside of him he created and designed and governs as the absolute reality. So he is utterly free from any constraints that don’t originate from the counsel of his own will.
10. God is the most important and most valuable reality and person in the universe. He is more worthy of interest and attention and admiration and enjoyment than all other realities, including the entire universe.

This Is The Day

When is the last time you said good morning? Today maybe?
Better yet, when is the last time you told God good morning and reminded Him of His promises?
If I'm honest, it's been a while. Life just seems to have taken over my life ans I find myself having less and less time to communicate with the One who made me.
I'm using my busy life as an excuse I know so when I came across this little devotional, it slapped me in the face. It's time for a lifestyle change and put God back in the center where He belongs. Won't you join me?
God Bless.
“This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it” Psalms 118:24, NKJV.
It’s impossible to say that without smiling. I have this friend that would call me at 5:00 am to say good morning in a singing voice as if I’m already awake and ready to go. I have another friend that whenever we come together to pray in the morning, we start with a long, “Goooooooooooooooooood morning Daddddyyyy! Then we laugh at how silly we sound, but how good it feels. I’ve always loved mornings. To me, morning represents God’s love and mercy. It represents a new day, a fresh start, and another chance to do it better this time. I say to you, “Good morning!”
Don’t allow the negative experiences you had yesterday to rob you of your good morning. Receive a fresh start. See a sunrise. Hear the birds chirping. Feel the crisp morning air. Breathe deeply and slowly as you awake. Welcome, my friend, to a new day, and to a second chance to do it better this time. Stand and say to God, “Goooooooooooooooooood morning Daddddyyyy!!!!! Then go on and enjoy your day. You can’t change yesterday. Tomorrow’s not here yet. All you have is today.
Prayer: Father, Goooooooooooooooooood morning! I know you never sleep or slumber, but still I say good morning. I love you and I thank you for blessing me to see a new day that I’ve never seen before. I receive your love and your warmth. Help me to forget yesterday, and not fret over tomorrow, but to enjoy this present day. Make this day special and give me peace about it all. It’s going to be ok because you are with me. You love me, and you’re blessing me now. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Change Doesn't Come Through Struggle

Some good advice from Joyce...now to live by them.
God Bless.
Change does not come through struggle, human effort without God, frustration, self-hatred, self-rejection, guilt, or works of the flesh. Change in our lives comes as a result of having our minds renewed by the Word of God and by trusting God to work in us according to His will. God, Who began a good work in you, will complete it (see Philippians 1:6).

The Nations Are In Choas

Never in a million years would I have thought it could get ad bad as it has.
The world is in choas but thankfully we, Christians have the answer. May we get busy introducing our Savior to the maddness of darkness and the lightbulb so it will shine brightly and in our favor.
God Bless.
The nations are in chaos, and their kingdoms crumble! God's voice thunders, and the earth melts! (NLT) -Psalm 46:6
No matter what is going on around the world, be it rioting, political upheaval, or stock market instability, there is a greater power. We have a Heavenly Father who was, is, and always will be. Presidents and leaders may fall, but our God is eternally powerful. Do not let yourself fall into despair when uncertainty surrounds you. Seek the Lord for confidence in your circumstances. Ask Him to provide comfort and ease your anxiety.

Worship At Church

It's not about how others do it. Its a matter of where your hear lies.
May we become the worshippers we were created to be and not performers who only goes to church for attention. The world doesn't need any more showboats or stars.
But what they really need is the people who have allowed the Holy Spirit to flow through them to show them what is real.
God Bless.

Worship at Church
Have you ever watched others when they worship at church … like when we sing worship songs? Why do some people raise their hands, close their eyes, and sway while others just keep their hands in their pockets? Why do others just admit to not really liking the worship part of church because they don’t really like singing? Sometimes people walk out of church saying things like, “I didn’t really like the songs today,” or “I just wasn’t really feeling worship today,” or “That singer or the band wasn’t that good. It kinda took me out of it.” Worship isn’t about you, or the band, or the songs that you’re singing. It’s about carving out time in our busy lives and responding to who God is and what He’s done for us. It’s about a deep, inner spirit response.
Some days you may feel out of it and not sure of things, or you might have questions for God. You might even feel mad at God because certain things in your life didn’t work out the way you wanted them to. This doesn’t mean that we should walk into church, slump down on the chair, fold our arms and have a scowl on our face. That’s a great opportunity to look up at the words on the screen that are being sung and enter into a conversation with God. When you see a line that you’re not agreeing with at the time, take it to Him.
Pray that He will show you that He is those things. Worship doesn’t always mean singing at the top of your lungs, out of tune, like the old person behind you. It can be about just entering into His presence and giving Him what you have.

It May Shock Some

A new way of looking at seeing who Jesus is.
But be warned, the only true way to look at Him is Savior of the world and He is all we need.
God Bless.

It may shock some people to be told that Christ is not an American. Nor was He a Jew merely. He was born of the seed of Abraham of the line of David, and His mother was a Jewess of the tribe of Judah. Still, Christ is vastly more than a Jew. His dearest name for Himself was “the Son of Man.” He came through the Jewish race, but He came to the human race. He is everyman’s countryman and everyman’s contemporary. He is building a kingdom of all nations and tribes and tongues and peoples. He has no favorites, “but in every nation he that fearest him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.” Let us remember that the gospel is a divine thing. It receives no virtue from any of man’s religions or philosophies. It came down to us out of heaven, a separate thing, like Peter’s sheet, wholly on its own. It is something given of God. It operates in the individual heart, wherever that heart may be found. Any form of human government, however lofty, deals with the citizen only as long as he lives. At the graveside it bids him adieu. It may have made his journey a little easier, and, if so, all lovers of the human race will thank God for that. But in the cool earth, slaves and free men lie down together. Then what matter the talk and the turmoil? Who was right and who was wrong in this or that political squabble doesn’t matter to the dead.
Judgment and sin and heaven and hell are all that matter then. So, let’s keep cool, and let’s think like Christians. Christ will be standing upright, tall and immortal, after the tumult and the shouting dies and the captains and the kings lie stretched side by side, the “cause” that made them famous forgotten and their whole significance reduced to a paragraph in a history book. Verse The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. John 1:14a Thought Christ did not come to a particular people in a particular area of the world. He assumed a certain ethnicity. He took on full humanity. But He came to be the Savior and Lord of every man and woman. He belongs to all peoples who will open their hearts to Him.
Prayer O Christ, You are praised and worshiped today in hundreds of languages and cultural forms. You are no more my Lord than the Lord of other believers around the world. But You are my Lord and my God.

For A Brief Moment

May I suggest you read this little devotional really slowly and take in what the author is trying to convey.
He will never go back on his promises even if we do.
Nor will He turn His face from His beloved people, the Israelites for He will never let them stray to far away.
Just come as you are no matter who you are for He cares for you.
God Bless.
Isaiah 54:7-8 “For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with deep compassion I will bring you back. In a surge of anger I hid my face from you for a moment, but with everlasting kindness I will have compassion on you,” says the Lord your Redeemer.
There is an eternal promise from the Lord God to His people Israel, and that promise extends to an offer of hope and salvation to all who believe in Jesus Christ. Through Christ, God has taken care of the only thing that acts to separate us from God; that is, sin. In Christ nothing can separate us from God, because the power and eternal consequences of sin and death have been paid for by the blood of the Lamb. God's offer of "everlasting kindness" is to all people. Come as you are and believe in Jesus. He delights in us, and will lead us in delighting in Him.
