You Are Responsible For Your Own Life

This little devotional is powerful and much needed for today's world.

People now a day's are always looking to blame others instead of taking responsibility of thier own. In engaging in this form of life style, people rarely, if at all, ever think of others and how their choices effect others.

It's not only self-destruction at its finest but a destructive force that can leave others fighting to get through life.

It's time for a life change and an attitude adjustment not just for yourself, but for all who may be invoived in this thing we call life.

God Bless.

You Are Responsible for Your Own Life

by Joyce Meyer

Be doers of the Word, and not hearers only.
—James 1:22 KJV

One of the biggest problems in society today is that people don’t want to take responsibility for their lives. They want quick fixes. Society has trained them to believe that if they have problems, somebody else is responsible. Their parents are responsible. Their spouses are responsible. Their schools or employers are responsible. The company that made the cigarettes or vehicle or junk food is responsible.

I’m not saying you are responsible for the current state of your life. Lots of uncontrollable events occur in our lives. Sometimes we do get very bad messages in childhood. Sometimes we have bad people in our lives who hurt us. The situation you find yourself in may or may not be your fault. But it is your fault if you take it lying down! You do not have to stay in that bad situation. You get to make a choice. And that choice is 100 percent yours.

No matter how you got to where you find yourself today, don’t let it be an excuse to stay there. I had many excuses and reasons for my poor health, bad attitude, and unbalanced life. As long as I offered excuses, I never made progress.

The time has come to be very honest with yourself and with God. When you have a moment of privacy, take a deep breath, clear your head, and repeat this phrase: “I am responsible for my own life. No one can take charge of it but me. If I am unhappy or unhealthy, I know I have the power to change that. I have all the help and knowledge I need; and with God’s hand today, I start becoming the person of excellence I have always known I could be.”

Pray With Boldness And Confidence

Love this little devotional. I have often struggled with prayer, and why we need to, and all those question of why didn't mine get answered, and blah, blah, blah.

But thanks to Joyce I feel my confusion about prayer is being lifted and it is opening up a whole new world to me. I am bound and determinded to understand and do my part where prayer is concerned.

God Bless.

Pray with Boldness and Confidence

by Joyce Meyer

Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace…that we may receive mercy…and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].
—Hebrews 4:16

Prayer opens the windows of heaven and touches the heart of God. It is a beautiful and powerful privilege that brings many changes in both circumstances and people. Prayer is often the difference between confusion and clarity, hurt and healing, defeat and victory, and even between life and death.

There are many ways to pray, but the best way is to pray boldly and effectually. God loves you and He doesn’t want your communication with Him to be vague and unclear. He wants you to come to Him fearlessly and confidently, being specific in your prayers.

Exercise the liberty and privilege of prayer tonight, fully expecting to receive the promised help just when you need it.

The Real Problem with Anxiety

Anxiety is the most powerful demon on the face of the earth and if you haven't ever felt it's touch then you must be living under a rock for there are all kinds of things happening in this world that are open doors for this demon to come walking right on in.
Anxiety is a death sentence if you allow it to take root and gain power but there is an answer. The problem with that answer is, it is almost to easy. We are looking for much more difficult solutions and when they don't work than we can say, see, I told you so.
Yet, what does it hurt in trusting in the Lord to come through for you? And answer? God ususally takes to long to come through for us.
For you see, we are a want it done now kind of people which I don't think is bad but it causes our hearts and minds to be constant conflict with each other. So, I guess it's true what the bible says that every day we must ask ourselves whom will we serve? And the answer should always bring us closer to the one who died for us not running to join the caravan to hell.
God Bless.

“But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?” (Matthew 6:30)
Jesus says that the root of anxiety is inadequate faith — “little faith” — in our Father’s future grace.
One reaction to this might be: “This is not good news! In fact, it is very discouraging to learn that what I thought was a mere struggle with an anxious disposition is rather a far deeper struggle with whether I trust God.”
My response to this discouragement is to agree, but then to disagree.
Suppose you had been having pain in your stomach and had been struggling with medicines and diets of all kinds, to no avail. And then suppose that your doctor tells you, after a routine visit, that you have cancer in your small intestine. Would that be good news? You say, emphatically not! And I agree.
But let me ask the question another way: Are you glad the doctor discovered the cancer while it is still treatable, and that indeed it can be very successfully treated? You say, yes, I am very glad that the doctor found the real problem. Again I agree.
So, the news that you have cancer is not good news. But, in another sense, it is good news, because knowing what is really wrong is good, especially when your problem can be treated successfully.
That’s what it’s like to learn that the real problem behind anxiety is “little faith” (as Jesus says) in the promises of God’s future grace. And he is able to work in wonderfully healing ways when we cry out, “I believe; help my unbelief!” (Mark 9:24).

Devine Order Brings Peace

It doesn't matter if your orderly or have too much OCD tendencies God states having order in your iife can only bring you peace of mind and heart and for me, this is priceless. When your heart and mind are i order, well you can become the person you were mean to be.

You know the person, the one who leads and shows people who Christ really is and what He has done for you in your life. I would say, it doesn't get any better than living a life of pure genuine happiness and favor from the one above. Nope, nothing better than that.

God Bless.

“Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.” Psalm 119:165

Divine order brings divine peace into your life. What is divine order? It is when everything is put in it’s rightful place: God, you, and your adversary. Divine order takes place…

1. When God is sitting on the throne of your heart.

Picture your heart has a throne. Who is sitting there? Is it God, you, or something else? Anytime we feel we know better than God, and can do a better job than He can, we are attempting to sit on the throne of our hearts. It’s time to get up and let God sit there (see Proverbs 31:30).

2. When you acknowledge you are seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

The enemy works overtime to get you to doubt who you are in Christ and who God is in you. He accuses you 24/7 of every wrong you’ve ever done to get you from your position in Christ. Receive the truth that you belong to God and are seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. This places you in a seat of spiritual authority (see Ephesians 2:6).

3. When the enemy is put in his place as being under your feet.

You are not trying to defeat the devil, he was defeated over 2,000 years ago when Jesus died, was buried and raised to life again. When the enemy is attacking your life, you must put him back in his place under your feet (see Luke 10:19).

When these three are in place, you will have supernatural peace and rest for your soul.

Prayer: Father God, I thank You for teaching me about divine order. Take your rightful place on the throne of my heart. I acknowledge that I am seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus, and I command the enemy to get under my feet. I receive who I am in You Lord and I thank You for bringing divine peace into my life, in the name of Jesus, Amen.

This Is The Confidence

I love this little devotional. It puts into words that my heart has felt for years. I believe people are living very deceiving lives believing they can do and say anything because the grace of God will cover them no matter what.

And if something happens, well, it's not their fault it must be the other person's fault because they obviously aren't as spiritual as they should be. That's all crap of course but their our people who live and die by doing and saying whatever then following it up with some scripture to support thier claim. I get tired of being an outcast in this thinking but nothing they have said or did has persuaded me to change my mind.

Nor has my thinking changed any of theirs except for making them mad at me and asking me to leave maybe not in words but in deeds. I guess one day we will know who is right on the subject matter when we stand in the judgement seat but until then, I will hang on to devotionals like these who concur with my thinking and keep plugging away always ready to give an answer for the hope that lives inside of me.

God Bless.

1 John 5:14-15
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.  And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.

Perhaps you've heard it said to approach God and "believe that you are receiving" whatever it is that you are asking for.  This does not mean that you can dream up anything you WANT, and expect God to hand it to you on a proverbial silver platter.  In the collision of grace and gratitude our heart is able to begin to desire the things that God wants specifically for us.  From that heart we can seek God with confidence; assured that we are indeed receiving what we are asking for, because our hearts are synchronized with His.  Pray scripture, and have faith in He who always answers.

A Divine Appointment

This is such a great little devotional. One you can really get behind and make it part of your life maybe you can carve the words into your daily routine. And if you are already living by these words, well then you are ahead of the game and is someone I could look up to and strive to become.

However, if you are like me, well, these words are like being in a foriegn country not knowing which way to go. I want to become more like this in my thinking but something is alway finding a way to change my thinking. It's a horrible I know but that is why I need little devotionals like these to help guide me and draw me closer to the Father.

For you see, I know it's a mind thing. And the mind is a terrible thing to waste and needs all the help it can get.

God Bless

A Divine Appointment

Truly my soul silently waits for God; from Him comes my salvation.Psalm 62:1, NKJV
Have you ever considered that you have a divine appointment when you get up early for your quiet time of prayer and meditation on His Word? . . . That Jesus is patiently, personally waiting to meet with you there?
Have you ever thought of going to church as a divine appointment? . . . That Jesus is patiently, personally waiting to meet with you there?
Have you ever thought of the Bible study you belong to as a divine appointment? . . . That Jesus is patiently, personally waiting to meet with you there?
What a difference it would make in our attitude of expectancy and our habit of consistency if we truly wrapped our hearts around the knowledge that each is a divine appointment, that Jesus Himself is waiting to meet with us.

Out Of Reverence

I can honestly say there are day's when I have a hard time loving my husband let alone reverencing him.

I know, this is an area I need to work on but there are just some day's I like to smack him just to look at him and then sit back and wonder what was I thinking when I took the plunge and said I do.

Maybe the problem is I know there are day's he feels exactly like I do. Yet, there is enough love there to keep us from walking away but to reverence just seems to be out of the question. But thank heavens, I know someone who sees and understands what I am going through and doesn't hold it against me.

Thank heaven's that same someone is willing to lead and guide me as well as whisper in the ears of the man I call husband to keep coming towards Him. Marriage isn't for the faint of heart but if your going to be in one, well then I guess learning to reverance can only make it better, at least that is what the word tells me and the bible has yet to lead me astray.

God Bless.

Out of Reverence

And further, submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. (NLT) -Ephesians 5:21

God blessed us with marriage to be the primary person that shows your spouse God's love for them.  It's not because they deserve it or have earned it, but because of the grace you have been given.  This will mean you are the first person to say sorry, or you will have to come home from work to help your spouse clean, or you take the blame when it's not your fault.  What can you do for your spouse today that reveals God's love for them?

No Compromise

Read it and weep boy's. Compromise is from the pits of hell itself. It's bad for the soul, mind, and body.

And thanks to this little devotional by Joyce, well, doubts about how God feels about comprising should be put to bed. Nothing good has ever come from compromising although at the moment is begin done feels good, the effects of it could have a lasting impact on not only yourself but those you love and those who look to you to be the city on hill shining it's beacon of light showing the way to the Savior of a lost and dying generation.

So send compromise packing in every area of your life today.

God Bless.

No Compromise!

To compromise means to go a little bit below what you know to be right, and it is a major way Satan deceives people. The devil says that “just once” won’t hurt. That is what he told Jesus when he tempted Him in the wilderness (see Luke 4). He said if Jesus would bow down and worship him just once, he would give Him all the kingdoms of this world (see Luke 4:5-8).
I once heard a funny story about a father whose children were trying to convince him to let them go to a movie that had a little foul language and a few inappropriate sex scenes. They argued that just a little bit wouldn’t hurt them. He told them no and then proceeded to give them an example of how dangerous just “a little bit” can be. He baked his children’s favorite cookies and then told them he had added just a tiny bit of a new ingredient—dog poop—but he guaranteed them that they would not taste it at all. Not one of them was willing to try the new cookies. Dad made his point!
Jesus said that we are in the world but we are not to be like it (see John 17:14–16; Romans 12:2). Likewise, Paul wrote to Timothy that a soldier in service does not get entangled in the enterprises of civilian life—his aim is to satisfy the one who enlisted him (see 2 Timothy 2:4).
What does this mean for us? Set standards, live by them, and don’t compromise when others urge you to do so. Don’t believe the “just once” or the “a little won’t hurt” lies! Just because someone else does something, that doesn’t make it right for you.
We must not let the fear of what people think of us lead us to compromise our moral behavior. If our faith in Jesus is genuine and sincere, then we will be the same in every situation.
Pray: Father, I want to honor You with my life. Help me in all things to be a person of integrity who refuses to compromise. Help me to live my life for You, regardless of what everyone else is doing. Your Word says that when we honor You with our lives, You will honor us (see 1 Samuel 2:30). In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Everyone day saying right here. Over and over and over until it because a natural part of our lives. I'm telling you, it will be worth it in the end.

God Bless.

Quote of the Day -Joyce Meyer

The Incredible Power Of Prayer

More incredible info on the subject that has had me in distress for more than a decade. I am more determinded to become a woman/a Christian of prayer. So, I am going to share the wealth to everyone for I don't want you go through what I have gone through in my thought process. I want us to be overcomers and overcomers we shall be and when we stand in front of the One who created us, I want to be able to hear, well done thy good and faithful servant. Don't you?

Be encouraged and God Bless.

The Incredible Power of Prayer

Christians are meant to know joy and peace, and that isn’t possible unless we know how to pray and have confidence in its power. God actually needs our prayers because there is a great deal He desires to do and cannot do unless someone asks Him to do it.

It seems impossible that God would need us for anything, but since He works through us, He does need us. Obviously, God can do anything He chooses to without anyone’s help, but He has committed Himself to partnering with His children and that is amazing.

If we want to do much for God, then we must ask much of God. Paul says that God is …able to do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think… (Ephesians 3:20). Satan desires that we not pray at all, or if we do pray, that we ask for very little. He hates bold, aggressive, confident prayers. Just think of your own prayers and how often they are attacked in some way.

For example, the phone rings while you are praying and you feel compelled to answer it. Or someone has an emergency just as you are about to pray, and you have to change your plans. Or you suddenly become sleepy shortly after you begin praying or you have difficulty focusing.

How about this one: Even if we succeed at putting time into prayer, the devil will immediately suggest to us that our prayers were not “right”—that we didn’t pray about the right things, pray the right way or pray long enough.

James 5:16 in the New King James Bible says the “fervent” prayer of the righteous person is powerful. The word fervent may give us the idea that our prayers need to be intense. Although that is one part of the definition, fervent also means “to be sincere and heartfelt.”

My prayers are usually simple, but they are sincere. I think the devil wants us to believe that prayer should always be hard work and that we need to feel deep emotion concerning what we pray about. That may be the case at times, but it is the sincerity of our prayers and the faith offered with them that makes them effective—not what we feel or how loud and long we pray.

Be cautious not to let the enemy deceive you concerning the validity of your prayers. When you pray in faith, know that God hears you…and He will answer in His way and timing.

Pray: I thank You, Father, that You always hear my prayers! Help me to come to You boldly and confidently throughout the day, knowing that You care about every detail of my life. Thank You for the amazing privilege to be a part of Your work on this earth. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Winning The Battle In Your Mind

I know everyone has heard the battle belongs to the Lord and it's true but we don't have to make it any more difficult for Him than it already is.

We can put an end to or help with the battle by taking back our minds. For this is truely where only the strongest survive. If you conquer the mind, than there is nothing you and God can't accomplish.

Stay strong my friends and take back your mind.

God Bless.

Winning the Battle in Your Mind

Paul writes that we are not to be conformed to this world, but to …be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes]…(Romans 12:2 AMP).

In other words, we are not to think or behave as worldly people do. Instead, we are to be transformed by renewing our minds according to God’s Word so we may prove what God’s will is and experience the good plan and purpose He has for each one of us.

Satan fights relentlessly against the good plan God has for us, and he does it through lies, deceptions and various strategies. He attempts to keep us distracted through sending trouble and difficulties our way. However, studying the Word of God is how we learn right from wrong. The Holy Spirit, Who lives in us and is our Helper in life, sows the Word into our hearts. He teaches us the truth and protects us from the lies of the enemy.

Renewing our minds with God’s Word is one of the most important things we can do. We must learn to think in an entirely new way. We might have had years of practice thinking in ways that are contrary to what God says, so learning to think in agreement with God’s Word will take time, education and effort.

The word transformed as used in Romans 12:2 means “to be changed completely according to a new inner reality.” God does this work in us. We become a new creation (see 2 Corinthians 5:17), and as we learn to think and behave according to that new reality, our entire life changes. This happens gradually and depends on our gaining knowledge of God’s Word, His will and His ways. It also depends on our willingness to submit our thinking and actions to God.

If we allow ourselves to be conformed to the world, we will think as they tell us to think and do what they tell us to do. But thankfully, as children of God, we have another option—to be transformed into the image of Christ and live the wonderful life He has provided for us through His death and resurrection.

Pray: Father, thank You for the power of Your Word to change me from the inside out. Please continue to change my thoughts and attitudes and help me to see things from Your perspective. I ask for a fresh desire to read, study and apply Your Word to every single area of my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

My God

I love this. I love the thought that you can be mad at God and He doesn't get upset, doesn't consider it to be a sin, and doesn't think any less of you if you do get mad.

He allows you time to kick and scream and just be human without judgment when you go thru something you don't want to.

It is a different matter when He brings you through it and you don't recognize what He has done foe you or when you hold onto your anger and you don't do anything to hwlp the situation or if you stop listening.

You know what I mean...when you stop be a child and start being an adult. But also, it is okay to allow yourself to heal.

God Bless.

My God

"My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?" (NLT) -Matthew 27:46

It's okay to be angry at God for a short time, but don't walk away from your relationship with Him. Don't allow your anger to become uncontrolled. Instead, work through the anger and emotions. Your relationship with Him will grow deeper and stronger. In time, you will look back on this time with a renewed spirit of the glories God can do.

God Is Greater

Love this and it's typical Joyce telling us like it is..may you find something in the following words to help you be encouraged but most of all, no matter what your going through, God is greater than anything you may be facing.

God Bless.

God Is Greater!

We all fight battles in life, but do we really know who we are fighting?

The truth is, there are two forces at work in the world—good and evil. God is good, and Satan is evil. Since Satan cannot hurt God, he fights against His children—those who have believed in Jesus as their Savior. He hopes to hurt God through hurting us.

You see, your fight is not against people or even with circumstances, but against the devil. First Peter 5:8 says, That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion [fiercely hungry], seeking someone to devour. But here’s the good news—that “someone” doesn’t have to be you! Through studying God’s Word, you can get to know the enemy’s tactics and avoid being deceived and trapped by him.

I am not implying that Satan doesn’t have power. He does, and we should take that fact seriously. But let’s remember that he is not actually a roaring lion—he comes like a roaring lion! Jesus is the Lion of the tribe of Judah, and Satan can only portray an imitation of what is real and true. The devil is a liar, and he can only harm people who believe him and are deceived by him.

Scripture helps us realize that we are fighting from a vantage point of already having victory, rather than trying to win a victory. The apostle Paul writes, Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us] (Romans 8:37 AMP).

Believing what God says about us in His Word and seeing ourselves as He sees us is one way we let Him fight our battles for us. We know before the battles even begin that we have the victory. We may have to walk through some difficulties and stand strong in faith, but we know how the story ends!

Pray: God, You have already won every battle I will ever face. You are the Lion of the tribe of Judah, and nothing is too hard for You. Through every trial, help me to focus on You and always believe what Your Word says more than I believe my doubts and fears. Help me to see myself the way You see me—as a strong, victorious child of God. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Watch Your ToTongue And Keep Your Mouth

This is a good little devotional for anyone who calls themselves a Christian.

Over the year's I have come to realize that the tongue is indeed our worst enemy so I am so thankful for this little devotional to help me keep my tongue in line.

May you find encouragement in the word's written below like I have and just maybe in time, we will be the commander of the tongue.

God Bless.

Watch your tongue and keep your mouth shut, and you will stay out of trouble. (NLT) -Proverbs 21:23

Sometimes emotions can get the best of us and cause us to say words we don't truly mean. Or we are charged with emotions and choose words with different implications than we intended. When you get in this state do your best to stabilize and then try to communicate emotions when you can better watch your tongue.

I Trust In God

Truth bomb and a drop the mic kind of moment.

Love this and my hope is that you will be encouraged by this little devotional like I am.

God Bless.

I trust in God, so why should I be afraid?

What can mere mortals do to me? (NLT) -Psalm 56:11

Trusting in God puts your heart at ease because you no longer have to worry. Placing your faith in Him relieves all doubt and uncertainty about the future. Do not be afraid of what other people may do. The effects of their actions are temporary in comparison to spending eternity with God.

Keep Balanced

Love this! Needed this! Wanted to share this! But most of all, be blessed by this!

My hope is you will find the words written below to be encourgement and by no way of making you feel any less than what you should. This little devotional should only boost your confidence and your faith in the Alpha and Omega.

God Bless.

Keep Balanced

by Joyce Meyer

For we who have believed (adhered to and trusted in and relied on God) do enter that rest.
—Hebrews 4:3
It is easy to get overcommitted, burned out, bummed out, worn out, and stressed out if you are trying to keep up with too many commitments. It is out of balance to try to do everything. If you are happy doing what you do, keep doing it. But if it wears you out and robs you of peace, don’t do it. What sense does it make to commit to something, and then murmur and complain about it while you are doing it?
Being overcommitted will frustrate you. Anxiety is usually a sign that God never told you to do what you are doing in the first place. To avoid frustration in your life, keep in balance.

Homecoming Day

What a glorious day that will be when we see His face but not only His face but the face of those we love.

When I came across this little devotional I became excited to say the least. It's going to be a grand event! So, why don't you join me!!! I will show you mine if you show me yours and I know we will bask in the love.

God Bless.

Homecoming Day

Rejoice because your names are written in heaven.
- Luke 10:20, NKJV

When I know that my loved ones are coming home I begin to prepare for them. My son, Jonathan, loves barbecued spareribs on the grill and homemade apple pie. I prepare those things for him, so that when he walks through the door of the house he knows he was expected and welcome, because this is his home!

Considering how I prepare for my children when I know they are coming home, I love to think of the preparations God is making for my homecoming one day. He knows the colors I love, the scenery I enjoy, the things that make me happy. All these personal details will let me know when I walk into My Father’s House that I am expected and welcome because He has prepared it for me! And in the same way, He is preparing a glorious homecoming for you!

Mom's Of Missionaries

Food for thought.

God Bless.

"Therefore, brethren, we were comforted over you in all our affliction and distress, by your faith." (1 Thessalonians 3:7)
Devotional
ltimately, every Christian mother of a Christian child is the mother of a missionary, but mothers whose children are on the foreign mission field have to learn how to support their children in a new way. How can you assist missionary children?
Two insights from this verse: 1) Be ready to comfort in all afflictions. Pray and declare Scripture over your children, and do what you can to ease the transitions they make. 2) Share your faith and show your commitment. Your faith may be the only thing that keeps them going in times of discouragement. In so doing you become a partaker in their sufferings.

Don't Forget

Do you often think the Trinity forget's you and your problems?

I know that thought has crossed my mind a time or two and I get encouraged by little devotional's like these.

I may be alone in my thinking but I also know when I begin to start like this, then God and His miraculous can't be to far behind.

God Bless.

Don’t Forget!

Anne Cetas

He was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. Acts 1:9 Acts 1:1–11 Isaiah 34–36; Colossians 2 My niece, her four-year-old daughter Kailyn, and I had a wonderful Saturday afternoon together. We enjoyed blowing bubbles outside, coloring in a princess coloring book, and eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. When they got in the car to leave, Kailyn sweetly called out the opened window, “Don’t forget me, Auntie Anne.” I quickly walked toward the car and whispered, “I could never forget you. I promise I will see you soon.”

In Acts 1, the disciples watched as Jesus was “taken up before their very eyes” into the sky (v. 9). I wonder if they thought they might be forgotten by their Master. But He’d just promised to send His Spirit to live in them and empower them to handle the persecution that was to come (v. 8). And He’d taught them He was going away to prepare a place for them and would come back and take them to be with Him (John 14:3). Yet they must have wondered how long they would have to wait.

Perhaps they wanted to say, “Don’t forget us, Jesus!” For those of us who have put our faith in Jesus, He lives in us through the Holy Spirit. We still may wonder when He will come again and restore us and His creation fully. But it will happen—He won’t forget us. “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up” (1 Thessalonians 5:11). How do you sense God’s presence in your life? What are you looking forward to?

Fleeing The Forbidden

I want to shout out from the highest mountain that the BIBLE is the way and life to a Christian. We can not add or take away from it.

It is and always will be the only way to survive this world we are living in. If we allow it, it will only draw us closer to our God while closing door to the darkness in our lives.

So the question is, where does your confidence lie? May it be to the only living GOD who can change your life in a moment.

God Bless.

"So do not throw away your confidence it will be richly rewarded." (Hebrews 10:35)
Devotional
Everyone gets to a point in their Christian life where they wonder if their faith in the Bible is based on reality or fiction. This is especially relevant to people who were saved early in life and have built their whole life around a routine of walking in faith. Then something happens and all of a sudden, they wonder why they do the things they do, if it's right, and if God's Word can really be trusted. As Satan entices us with "forbidden" things we must remind ourselves of the confidence we have in God's infallible, perfect Word. Our confidence in Him will be richly rewarded, so be steadfast and flee worldly pleasures.
