Serving Others

This little devotional is spot on. Take time to read and devour the word's written below and then dare to ask God how you can then answer the call.

God Bless.

Serving Others

Whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all
- Mark 10:44

Do you want to make a difference in the kingdom of God? Do you desire to be used in a mighty way to the glory of Jesus Christ? Do you have high ambitions for yourself in Christ's body?

Then don't settle for holding a significant position or for being especially prominent. Raise your sights even higher -- make it your goal to be the chief person in the kingdom of God...and start serving everyone around you.

Jesus told his ambitious, contentious disciples on several occasions the only way to be great in His kingdom. The person that wishes to be great must take on the lowest, self-emptying, others-oriented, servant-spirited position in the church. he or she must become the servant of all.

Is there anyone in the church that you would disdain to serve? Do you still see yourself above certain individuals because of their background, or social status, or financial situation, or educational level, or personal hygiene? Then you are not yet chief in the kingdom of God. You have not yet risen high enough in the service of the Lord. Because you are not yet the servant of all.

Look today for opportunities for promotion in the church of Jesus Christ. Search out the lowliest and become lower still by serving them. There is no person too small, or smelly, or ugly, or sick, or handicapped for you to serve in Christ's kingdom, if you are spiritually ambitious enough.

Quote Of The Day - It Is Not About Reading

Here's another quote that needs nothing added but just needs to be obeyed.

Fellowship With Jesus

Our relationship and how we fellowship with our Jesus should be our number priority but to be honest, I sometimes fail to make it so.
It is easier said than done with everything that is thrown at you in any given day but it's nice to be encouraged from a little devotional where you realize you haven't strayed to far off and there is a way back.
If there is one thing I know, He loves us and understands and is patently waiting for us to get our act together.
God Bless.

Fellowship with Jesus
Joe Stowell
I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. Philippians 3:8 Philippians 3:7–14 Esther 6–8; Acts 6
I’ll never forget the time I had the privilege of sitting next to Billy Graham at a dinner. I was honored but also somewhat nervous about what would be appropriate to say. I thought it would be an interesting conversation starter to ask what he loved most about his years of ministry. Then I awkwardly started to suggest possible answers. Was it knowing presidents, kings, and queens? Or preaching the gospel to millions of people around the world? Before I had finished offering suggestions, Rev. Graham stopped me. Without hesitation he said, “It has been my fellowship with Jesus. To sense His presence, to glean His wisdom, to have Him guide and direct me—that has been my greatest joy.” I was instantly convicted and challenged. Convicted because I’m not sure that his answer would have been my answer, and challenged because I wanted it to be. That’s what Paul had in mind when he counted his greatest achievements to be of no worth compared to the “surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord” (Philippians 3:8).
Think of how rich life would be if Jesus and our fellowship with Him was our highest pursuit.   Lord, forgive me for chasing after things that matter far less than my fellowship with You. Thank You that You stand ready to enrich my life with Your presence and power. To remain faithful where God has placed you, give Christ first place in your heart.

You Will Reap

There is just some days when I need encouragement to help me get through the tough times and this is exactly what this little devotional gives.

Everyone needs it, no one really gives it, and that is the reason we need to rise above this depressing world so the light can shine!
God Bless.

You Will Reap “Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in.” Galatians 6:9, Amplified “Don’t get weary in doing what’s right. I promise you will reap. No seed you sow is ever wasted. No prayer you’ve prayer is ever in vain. […]

A Heart Of Compassion

What is your compassion level? Or are you more judgemental and in-patient when things don't go your way?
According to Ecclesiastes, there is a time for everything and I don't know of a better time when the world needs compassion more than now.
Tolerance is something totally different and means something different but compassion is when you see a hurting person and choose to walk a way.
I don't need to tell you when to be compassionate, it is a God-given instinct that we need to listen to and in the word's of this little devotional, when we show compassion, we will be pointing others to the One who poured out His heart of grace and compassion on us.
God Bless.
A Heart of Compassion
Our Daily Bread
Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Colossians 3:12 Colossians 3:12–17 Judges 19–21; Luke 7:31–50
Seven of us were attending a musical production at a crowded amusement park. Wanting to sit together, we tried to squeeze into one row. But as we did, a woman rushed between us. My wife mentioned to her that we wanted to stay together, but the woman quickly said, “Too bad,” as she and her two companions pushed on into the row. As three of us sat one row behind the other four, my wife, Sue, noticed that the woman had an adult with her who appeared to have special needs. She had been trying to keep her little group together so she could take care of her friend. Suddenly, our irritation faded. Sue said, “Imagine how tough things are for her in a crowded place like this.” Yes, perhaps the woman did respond rudely. But we could respond with compassion rather than anger. Wherever we go, we will encounter people who need compassion. Perhaps these words from the apostle Paul can help us view everyone around us in a different light—as people who need the gentle touch of grace. “As God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience” (Col. 3:12). He also suggests that we “bear with each other and forgive one another” (v. 13). As we show compassion, we will be pointing others to the One who poured out His heart of grace and compassion on us.
Your compassions never fail, Father. May we mirror Your heart by showing compassion to others. Compassion is understanding the troubles of others

Trust Him

It is harder than what you think it will be isn't it?
Come on, I can't be the only one to think like this. But if I am, well, that is alright with me because in my soul, I have a lot of trusting issues and thank heavens God is patiently waiting for me on the other side of my issues as well as beside me as I walk through them.
You know, He already has gone before me and cleared my path, all I need to do is get out of the boat and begin walking on water and just maybe I can become like that little train who is trying to get up the mountain and does all because he thinks he can.
So then it becomes I thank God I did when the waters part and the mountains bow down after seeing my faith and trust in the Great I Am.
God Bless.
Trust Him!
Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. - Psalm 37:5, NKJV
At times our understanding is limited. We simply have to trust our heavenly Father to know best. We have to trust God’s silences and respect God’s mysteries and wait for God’s answers. When we pray for the healing of a loved one, and he dies . . . When we pray for release from a financial burden, and we go bankrupt . . . When we pray for reconciliation, and we are handed divorce papers . . . When we pray for our career, and we get laid off . . . When we pray for protection, and we are robbed . . . We just have to trust Him. Trust Him. Trust Him! From Pursuing MORE of Jesus

The Truth Will Set You Free

It's all about the bible today and every day. This world has gone crazy and we are running around like chickens with their heads cut off looking for answers when the answers are written in a big bulking book or now it can be found by downloading an app.
No matter how ya lgike to read it, just make sure ya do and get educated, get the protection you need from it, and let it introduce you to the one who created it all and ya just might find the freedom you been looking for and ya might just develop a need to spread the good news to all those other people who are looking for thier freedom.

God Bless.

The Truth You Know Will Set You Free
I can’t emphasize how important it is to read the Word of God. It contains all the truth we will ever need to overcome all the problems we will ever face in our lives. We just have to open up the Word and find what we need to draw help from. The Word says that our bodies can be healed, our families can be saved, our finances can be abundant, our fears can be conquered, our relationships can be healthy and whole, and our churches can impact the world. I read and stand on the truth of about 20 or more passages every day, because I know that it was the truth in God’s Word that kept me going, when I had severe chest pain due to hyperacidity, in 2013. I urge you to find out what the Bible says about your need, apply it to your life, and let the truth of God’s Word set you free! For with God nothing will be impossible (Luke 1:37). There are more than 8000 promises or blessings in the Bible. Claim them for your life and your family.
Jesus said, “Heaven and earth will pass away but My Words will never pass away.” God definitely keeps His Word. Prayer Father, I ask You today, to help me find the truth in Your Word that will set me free. Your Word is life, health and peace in the midst of every problem. I choose to apply the truth of Your Word to my life and walk in Your freedom. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

I Placed My Rainbow In The Cloud

There isn't anything more beautiful than seeing a rainbow in the sky. It literally is a pivotal, life-breathing, hopeful moment that breathes life back into your soul.
You could be having a bad day and spot a rainbow and a instant smile comes to your face.
Why? Because we are taught a rainbow means a very special convant has taken place....God still has hope for mankind and with that hope, flooding the earth and getting rid of us humans is off the table.
Thank you, Lord. I don't know about you but I am glad I was born in this generation (as messed up as it is) and not that other generation who wouldn't get on the boat.
I am also thankful that not only does God make promises and covenants but He has every intention of keeping them. And that is something I can get behind.
God Bless.

I have placed my rainbow in the clouds. It is the sign of my covenant with you and with all the earth. (NLT) -Genesis 9:13
What beautiful imagery God has used. After a harsh storm, full of roaring thunder and flashing lightning, comes the beautiful rainbow. It's rareness and colorfulness is a touching reminder of God's promise. He has promised to never again destroy life. The next time you see a rainbow, remember it is a sign to everyone that God will keep His promises.

No Limits To His Power Over Matter

I found this little devotional and it got me thinking. Do I really believe God is a big God and if so how do I demonstrate His biggness?
Recently, God told me I am not believing for Him to do mighty works and you know, its true but surely I can't be the only one.
It is time for us to try and stop putting God in a box and let Him be the big God He is, don't you think so too?
God Bless.
No limits to his power over matter “A man’s got to know his limitations”--wisdom from Harry Callahan (a.k.a. Clint Eastwood) in "Magnum Force." Clint’s right—we are all limited: limited vision, limited brainpower, limited physical capacity, limited lifespan. The God we worship, however, has no such limitations. The entire physical universe was created by him and every day still must submit to his word and will.
Absolutely every molecule in every place is under his supervision and direction. Look what he did in Egypt to Egypt. When the arrogant and hard-hearted Pharaoh refused to release his Israelite slaves, God sent his man Moses for a little demo of what unlimited divine power looked like: “He raised his staff in the presence of Pharaoh and his officials and struck the water of the Nile, and all the water was changed into blood. The fish in the Nile died, and the river smelled so bad that the Egyptians could not drink its water” (Exodus 7:20,21).
Is your jaw dropping? The Nile is over four thousand miles long, with billions upon billions of gallons of water sliding downhill in its banks. God turned physics into biology by making something inorganic organic. It is nothing for God to stop the earth’s rotation, feed five thousand people with five loaves and two fish, or turn water into wine. He has the unlimited power to do everything for you that he said he’d do, and he uses that power to bring benefit to your life.

What Is Spiritual Warfare?

Spiritual warfare is something I feel is something we don't know enough about or if we think we know, then we usually misuse it or abuse it. Or at least this is my opinion.
But no matter what, isn't it about time we figure it out and get it together and go and save a lost and dying world?
Because truth be told, it isn't about us anyway. Its about the one who lives within us or at least I would hope so.
God Bless.

What Is Spiritual Warfare?
Spiritual warfare is anything that the enemy uses to try and pull mankind’s heart and mind away from God. Our enemy has blinded so many Jesus followers to the realization that we’re living in the midst of a violent spiritual war in an attempt to keep us unaware of the victory Jesus’ blood has already won for us. The spiritual realm can be hard to grasp because we cannot see it with our earthly eyes. The Bible makes it very clear that there is a heavenly realm, also known as a spiritual realm. While we are living on earth, we are unable to see this other realm, but we know it is as real as you and me. What better way to ensure that Jesus followers won’t fight back than to blind them into believing the war doesn’t exist. Temptation is the most lethal form of spiritual warfare. Temptation is anything that lures our hearts away from God and His truth.
Our enemy has studied each of us since conception in our mother’s womb, and we are no match for our enemy alone. Because of Jesus, we are more than conquerors to whatever he assaults us with. We have an enemy that not only knows our weaknesses, he enthusiastically exploits them. Our enemy’s primary focus is drawing as many hearts from God’s love as possible. The book of Revelation makes it clear that our enemy’s future is set, but mankind still has time to choose theirs. Our spiritual enemy does not sleep.
He uses his knowledge, deceit, and manipulation to wreak havoc on women every single day. No matter what the enemy assaults you with, if you have put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, victory over the enemy is not just a nice thought; it is possible. Over the next few days we are going to learn how to detect spiritual warfare and fight back God’s way.

If Only

Read this little devotional and see if you can't relate to some or all of this little devotional.
Life is tough and things arise and it is in those moments that may define us. May God find us faithful but just in case your not, just remember your human and that is why we need Jesus.
God Bless.
“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” Matthew 10:29-31 (NIV)
I chose her register not because her line was short, but because of her smile. The cashier’s beautiful skin and sparkling, dark-colored eyes only added to the light she was shining. As I scooted my cart to her check-out lane, she said something sweet about my outfit. Soon, we were swapping “sweatpants stories” — the outfits we’re both most comfortable in — she in school and me working from home. Within seconds, our conversation took a turn, landing on the topic of confidence. Suddenly, her bright eyes lost their twinkle, and in a bit of a whisper, she confided that she wished she’d been more confident a few years ago. Before the opportunity slipped away, I asked, “Did you go through a hard time when you were younger?” This gorgeous young woman shared how she grew up where there hadn’t been many people who looked like she did. How she was told if only her skin were different, she would be pretty. But … it wasn’t. Then she hesitated, adding, “But I got over it.” She handed me my bags and receipt, and our interaction ended. Heading to my car, I longed to continue our chat. I had so many questions. What happened in her heart during this confidence-crushing time? Did she really just get over it? Because it will happen again. To all of us. Our confidence will be challenged repeatedly. I’m not exaggerating when I tell you my confidence is challenged almost daily.
Unlike the cashier, it’s not because I’ve been put down or slighted. No, my struggle comes from within. My heart- and mind-messages continually work against me: “If only” you had more experience. “If only” you were more gifted, more talented, etc. “If only … ” These words, whether from others or from within ourselves, intensify when we attempt to make our move with God. Is there a part of you that says me too? Each time you’ve attempted to step in a direction where you feel God’s calling you, your confidence was challenged. Do you have your own set of “if onlys”? If only I hadn’t made that unwise choice as a teen … If only I had gone to college … If only I didn’t marry so young … If only my marriage would have worked out … If only I’d done a better job raising my kids … If only I had gotten my temper under control … If only I sought treatment … If only, if only, if only … And somewhere, in this breakdown, we began to believe we simply didn’t deserve to follow or have our God-instilled desires and dreams fulfilled. What do we do now? God’s Word reminds us of what’s true. We move forward confidently in Christ, because we know God cares for us. He sees us. On days when I’m just going through the motions, dragging myself out of bed, into the perpetual rush of life, my weary self wonders: Do I even matter? Does anyone see me? Jesus absolutely does, and His care can give us the confidence and strength we need to press forward.
We have to impress this truth on our hearts: He cares for us. Yes, life delivers harsh, painful blows, but we can change those “if-onlys” around. If only my parents had stayed together, I wouldn’t have experienced that hurt, but now I share my testimony with children going through the same pain. If only we hadn’t moved, maybe I wouldn’t have felt so insecure. But now because we did move, in this new city I’m sharing Jesus with people here. If only, if only, if only … but God! Friend, the King of the Universe sees you and calls you worthy. As Matthew 10:29-31 reminds us, “Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” You have what you need to reframe your “if onlys” and make the move God calls you to make. Let His word fill your confidence gap today. Lord, I want to move forward. May Your truth that I am worthy empower me to do so. In Jesus’ Name, Amen. TRUTH FOR TODAY: Psalm 121:3, “He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber.” (NASB) RELATED RESOURCES: Lynn Cowell’s new Bible study for women, Make Your Move: Finding Unshakeable Confidence Despite Your Fears and Failures is ready for pre-order! God Keeps His People

Do you ever think God will leave you or already has?
Then stop believing the lie! He will never leave you. He doesn't sleep. He doesn't turn His back when things go awry. He can't, He loves you to much.
So soak up this little devotional and refuse to believe anything other than God will keep you in the palm of His hand.
God Bless.
I could quote hundreds of passages from the Holy Scriptures to show that God keeps His people and that there is nothing in earth or in hell that can harm a trusting soul. The past is forgiven, the present is in God's keeping and a thousand bright promises give assurance for the future. Yet we are sometimes terrified by the adversary.
This is not uncommon but it is unnecessary. We should not try to excuse it, but rather acknowledge it as evidence of our spiritual immaturity. Through the blood of the everlasting covenant we are as safe here on earth as if we were already in heaven. We have not passed beyond the possibility of physical death, but we have entered a sphere of life where we can afford to die, knowing that for the Christian death is a bright portal to the ineffable glory. It is entirely possible to reach a place in grace where nothing can panic us. We can have an understanding with God about our yesterdays, our today and our tomorrows. The fear of death and judgment goes out of us as the true fear of God comes in, and that fear has no torment but is rather a light and easy yoke for the soul, one which rests us instead of exhausting us.

Sincere Love

Do you want to ow what love is? Well, this little devotional may be the start you need to help you find your answers.
Just remember, God is love and doesn't want to to hide anything good from you especially on the subject of love. He will meet with you and is more than willing to help you grow in confidence of who He is.
God Bless.
Sincere Love
This passage specifies four very practical ways the believer is to demonstrate his or her love for others.
1. The believer is to love by hating evil. The word hate is very strong. It means to despise with intense feeling, to loathe. Love desires the very best for people; therefore, love hates evil, for evil destroys lives.
2. The believer is to love by clinging to that which is good. The word cling means to join or fasten together, to attach. The believer is to desire only the very best for people and to work for everyone to know and experience the good.
3. The believer is to love by loving other believers, by being kind and devoted toward them. We are a family of children who have been adopted by God as His sons and daughters; therefore, the church is to live in love, and living in love is peace.
4. The believer is to love by giving preference to others. The word honor means to reverence, respect, esteem. The believer is to take the lead in esteeming and expressing respect for others. Imagine a church full of believers with each taking the lead in esteeming and honoring the other. What a picture of true love and care.
To summarize, we are to love others with a pure and sincere love, being completely free of selfish motives. Scripture calls us to love others for themselves because they are fellow human beings who have the same emotional and spiritual needs as we have, needs which can only find their fulfillment in Christ. We must love them because God loves them and because they desperately need to know that Jesus Christ has come to earth to reveal God’s love to all people.  Study Questions: · When you read Romans 12:9–10, how does it make you feel?
Which one of the four practical ways to demonstrate love is most difficult for you? Why do you think that is? · Can you say that you consistently love with pure and sincere motives? If not, how can you begin to love more purely and sincerely?

Be Watchful

Love this little devotional. If you have ever wondered what to say to people about your faith or if you have wondered about Jesus and whytheis faith is the only faith needed, then you should be able to find your answers in the written word's below.
Take time with this little devotional and truly search out what is written and ask God to reveal Himself to you and what He wants you to know and He will meet with you like never before.
God Bless.
"Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Messiah,' and will deceive many." - (Matthew 24:4-5)
Devotional
On the Mount of Olives, Jesus answers his disciples regarding the signs of His coming. Jesus is the real deal, He's not a counterfeit. In order to identify counterfeit money you need to handle the real money, get to know its features and how it feels. To know Jesus we must spend time with Him, get to know his characteristics and read His word to know how He operates and what He would say. Imitators will arise claiming to be the Messiah so we need to be watchful. Our personal relationship with Him will help us to avoid being misled.

Do Not Withhold Anything Good

Kindness goes a long way mixed in with a little bit of grace and mercy and we just might be on the road to a better world.
O, I don't know, maybe we should try it and find out. It couldn't hurt. The world wouldn't be any worse off than it already is.
So yeah, kindness, grace, and mercy for a lost and dying world is exactly what the doctor ordered.
God Bless.

Do not withhold good from those who deserve it when it's in your power to help them. (NLT) -Proverbs 3:27
Is there anybody who doesn't deserve good? Honestly, no. Grace enters the equation where everyone is made in the image of God. No matter what someone has done, we are called to do good. What does it look like for you? Maybe it's lending your tools out, perhaps it's aiding an older person to figure out their medicine, or being an exercise partner to a neighbor. What good would you like done for you? Now, choose to do that for someone else today.

Love Includes Everyone

For all of us who want to get a clear understanding of love, well, Joyce gives us a pretty good insight as to what love is.

Leave it to God to use Joyce to make it simple and I feel she does just that in this little devotional. So, be encouraged my friend and God Bless.

Love Includes Everyone

by Joyce Meyer

But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them.
—Luke 6:32 NKJV

The Bible teaches us that love is the most important thing to be concerned with. It is “the main thing,” and we should let the main thing be the main thing in our lives.
Are you majoring in things that really don't matter and paying very little attention to walking in love? For many years that was exactly what I did, and the result was an unfulfilled, dissatisfied feeling that I couldn’t get rid of no matter how I tried. I had a relationship with God; I even had a ministry to others! But I was not happy and couldn’t understand why. It seemed that I had most of what I wanted in life, but joy evaded me. As I cried out to God to help me, He showed me that I had my priorities out of line. I was more concerned with how I was being treated than with how I treated others.
I believe love can be seen or not seen in how we treat people, especially people we come in contact with who don't particularly interest us or have any ability to do anything for us. According to Jesus, our love should include everybody, not just those who can pay us back. He said if you merely love those who love you, what credit do you get? Even a sinner can do that!
We don't have the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives to help us do easy things, but to do things that are hard and sacrificial. Loving some people is very hard. They don't act lovable or even seem to want to be loved. They certainly don't reciprocate any affection shown to them. But when we begin to treat others as we would like to be treated and not as they are already treating us, we are obeying a principle that releases multitudes of blessings into our lives and pleases God.
Love Others Today: Help me, Lord, to love everyone – even those who are difficult to love.

Foothold Satan Sets Traps For Us

Are you like me and want Satan out of your life? Well, this little devotional is for you.
Satan can, and is, and will be defeated in our lives once we make up our minds that what Jesus did on the cross is all that is needed for us to live a life worth living and all we have to do is enforce His work, then just breath in and breath out and live a life we were called to.
Satan, you are defeated!
Thank You God and God Bless.
Foothold Satan sets traps for us and the Bible warns us in Ephesians 4:27 to not give him “a foothold” in our lives. These traps are also called “pits” and he uses them to get a foothold and not let us escape.
Job 18:8-9 gives an accurate picture of what a foothold looks like: “His feet thrust him into a net and he wanders into its mesh.
A trap seizes him by the heel; a snare holds him fast.” Satan, the Heel Grabber, will try to pull us into pits and trap our feet to keep us down. Pits are described in the Bible as somewhere you feel stuck—they’re muddy, slimy, messy, dark, slippery, or sinking. In a pit, it’s hard to keep your footing. That’s exactly where the enemy wants us. He wants us to not walk in God’s purposes, but become trapped, buried alive, immobile, and ineffective.
For example, we can get into a pit of depression, loneliness, addiction, abandonment, loss, or sickness. Whatever the pit, you’ll need God’s deliverance and He wants to deliver you. He elevates pit dwellers by giving us divine tools to escape. Jesus doesn’t wish for any of His children to stumble. Satan can’t have our souls because we’re saved from the ultimate pit of hell, and he’s angry because his time is short. He’ll try to grab our heels here on earth and pull us off the path God is taking us on. With God’s help, we can not only get out of these pits—we can avoid many of them altogether. Proverbs 4:15 tells us, “Do not set foot on the path of the wicked or walk in the way of evildoers. Avoid it, do not travel on it; turn from it and go on your way.” We do this by seeking God daily through prayer, reading His Word, and applying His truths to our lives. When God tells us to avoid certain sins, we need to listen and obey. He sets boundaries for our protection and freedom. However, there are some pits that we just can’t avoid. Let’s take a look at an Old Testament Bible character, Joseph. Joseph was thrown into several pits.
The first was at the hands of his own brothers. He was then sold into slavery. Psalm 105:18 refers to him and says, “They bruised his feet with shackles; his neck was put in irons.” (Bruised feet—who do you think was behind this?) Later, he was falsely accused and even thrown into prison. Satan had it out for him, but in every pit, he didn’t give Satan a foothold. He remained faithful to God by rising above his circumstances, eventually becoming ruler over all Egypt. God elevated him from a pit to a palace. God didn’t cause Joseph’s pain, but He did use it for good by training him in the pits so he would have the tools he needed to rule a nation. Joseph could have stayed stuck in misery and hopelessness, but he chose to be obedient, place his hope in God, and never lose faith. If we, like Joseph, ever find ourselves in a pit—no matter how we got there—here are five ways to regain our footing and not give Satan a foothold.
1) Cry out to God in prayer. Prayer makes a way where there is no way. 2) Don’t let go of God in the waiting process. Wait for Him patiently and trust in Him daily. 3) Stand firm on the Word of God. Meditate on Scripture and cling to His promises. 4) Forgive and ask for forgiveness. Forgiveness frees our hearts of bitterness and prevents Satan from gaining a foothold. 5) Glorify God. Worship Him in the valleys and on the mountaintops.

Love Wins - All

The word's of the this little devotional ring's true not just on paper but for me and for you to live by not only just for today but in the day's to come.
As this world crumbles, we must provide the answer to combat the darkness and we doe this by the word of our testimony and let our testimony be made up of the never failing love of Jesus.
God Bless.
Love Wins—All the Time
Scripture:  John 21:15-17
Love is the answer to the broken home. Love is the answer to the addict. Love is the answer to fractured relationships. Love is the answer to being offended. Love is the answer to heartbreak. Love is a weapon that can shatter division and rebuild what has been broken. What is happening in your life right now that tests you in the way you love? Did you just discover that your spouse has been cheating on you? Do you want to reconnect with the daughter you haven’t spoken to in months? Did your son just tell you his girlfriend is pregnant? Is your teenager suffering from an addiction that is overwhelming not just his life but every single person in your family? Has your adult daughter declared she’s a lesbian and she’s done with the whole God business? Different dynamics and complexities characterize each of these situations. But they’re real. They’re hard.
And they hurt. I wonder what would happen if we decided that, with God’s help and in His strength, we are going to love like we’ve never been hurt. Instead of withholding affection, staying bitter or seeking revenge, we love. God will begin, little by little, to release you from the past if you will reach for a new day. It takes a lot of love and forgiveness to hold a family together. Love never fails. Keep on forgiving. Keep on loving. Keep on reaching. Keep on talking. The Big Idea:  The ones whom you love the most can hurt you the most. Love them anyway.

Now Joseph Had A Dream

Ever had a dream and wondered if it would come true? Then this little devotional is for you.
There is hope. There is a hope that God cannot and will not lie. Hold on a little bit longer. And dig a litte bit deeper. God is in the business of dream answering and when He does, it is going to be huge!
God Bless.

“Now Joseph had a dream, and he told it to his brothers; and they hated him even more.” Genesis 37:5 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11
Years ago, while attending a women’s conference at a large stadium, I heard the voice of the LORD whisper in my ear, “Why not you? Why can’t this be you, My daughter?” He said, “I will expand your reach to many across the world and I will use you in even greater ways to teach and preach My Word.” I breathed in that moment. Unbeknownst to me, I was going to need that memory for the weeks, months and years ahead. The Bible says how Joseph had a dream and his brothers hated him even more. Shortly after that experience, I went through the darkest depression I’d ever faced and had tried to end my life. The vision I received from God at that conference seemed lost. I felt like it was over for me. But to God, it’s never over until He says so. Instead of feeling sorry for myself, I got up, rolled up my sleeves, and I fought with everything in me to renew my mind, rediscover who I am, and reclaim my destiny in God. It wasn’t easy, but God’s Holy Spirit helped me every step of the way, and years later, the LORD gave me a dream of a stadium and has said He is expanding my reach to minister the gospel to many across the world. Maybe your actions or the actions of others have caused you great pain and disappointment in your life, but it doesn’t have to be the end of your story. The Word of God says, you are saved and called with a holy calling, not according to your works (or lack of works) but according to
His own purpose and grace which He gave you in Christ Jesus before the world began (see 2 Timothy 1:9)! You are victorious through Jesus no matter how you feel and no matter how it looks!
Determine not to feel sorry for yourself! Get up, my sister, and roll up your sleeves! Fight with everything in you to: 1) Renew your mind with God’s Word (see Romans 12:1-2) 2) Rediscover who you are in Christ (see Luke 15:16-18; 1 Corinthians 15:10) 3) Reclaim your destiny (see Genesis 32:22-32; Acts 20:24; Philippians 3:14) It’s not over until you accomplish everything God purposed you to do in the earth by His grace and power. It’s not over until His dream for your life come to pass! The one who calls you is faithful, and He will do it! (see 1 Thessalonians 5:24)

God Does Not Change

When I was little, I remember a preacher who preached that God could change His mind and in my he was saying God changes all the time
But luckily for me, I grew up and learned the truth for myself and now I know without a shadow of a doubt God doesn't change but we should change so we can be molded into His image.
And God does change His mind as long as we, his children are praying for the change and it lines up with His will and His will is what it is all about.
God Bless.
God Does Not Change
Change is inevitable - things around us change and so do people. There are changes that take place in our physical, mental, spiritual and emotional being on a daily basis; from the time we wake up in the morning till we sleep again at night. Technology changes, and brands keep changing every day. Relationships between people change and the world around us just keeps evolving. We have no control over it. However, God, the Creator of heaven and earth, never changes. Neither His character, nor His promises, as written in the Bible, will ever change. Israel had reason to say that He is an unchangeable God, for He had been faithful to His covenant with them and their fathers. He had promised Abraham blessings, not just for himself and his family but for the entire nation and world. If God had not adhered to His promise, they would have been consumed long ago and cut off from being a people, because they were constantly disobedient and doing their own thing. God was committed to His Word (Deuteronomy 7:8). “God is not a man, that He should lie (Numbers 23:19a). When the Old Covenant was superseded by the New Covenant of grace, His promises would still remain for each one of us to believe and claim and experience in our lives.
Today, we can enter His presence boldly with full assurance of faith that He hears every cry coming from our hearts. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. What He has promised in His Word concerning your life, finances, health and family, will come to pass because He and His Word do not change.
Prayer Father, I thank You for Your promises which are ‘yes’ and ‘amen’ through Christ Jesus. I will not be swept away by any doctrine of this world but I will stand on Your Word. Because You do not change, You will keep me steady in You always. Your promises will come to pass in my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
