When I was little, I remember a preacher who preached that God could change His mind and in my he was saying God changes all the time
But luckily for me, I grew up and learned the truth for myself and now I know without a shadow of a doubt God doesn't change but we should change so we can be molded into His image.
And God does change His mind as long as we, his children are praying for the change and it lines up with His will and His will is what it is all about.
God Bless.
God Does Not Change
Change is inevitable - things around us change and so do people. There are changes that take place in our physical, mental, spiritual and emotional being on a daily basis; from the time we wake up in the morning till we sleep again at night. Technology changes, and brands keep changing every day. Relationships between people change and the world around us just keeps evolving. We have no control over it. However, God, the Creator of heaven and earth, never changes. Neither His character, nor His promises, as written in the Bible, will ever change. Israel had reason to say that He is an unchangeable God, for He had been faithful to His covenant with them and their fathers. He had promised Abraham blessings, not just for himself and his family but for the entire nation and world. If God had not adhered to His promise, they would have been consumed long ago and cut off from being a people, because they were constantly disobedient and doing their own thing. God was committed to His Word (Deuteronomy 7:8). “God is not a man, that He should lie (Numbers 23:19a). When the Old Covenant was superseded by the New Covenant of grace, His promises would still remain for each one of us to believe and claim and experience in our lives.
Today, we can enter His presence boldly with full assurance of faith that He hears every cry coming from our hearts. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. What He has promised in His Word concerning your life, finances, health and family, will come to pass because He and His Word do not change.
Prayer Father, I thank You for Your promises which are ‘yes’ and ‘amen’ through Christ Jesus. I will not be swept away by any doctrine of this world but I will stand on Your Word. Because You do not change, You will keep me steady in You always. Your promises will come to pass in my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
