The Rapture Some call it ‘The Blessed Hope’; and others ‘The Rapture’. For the Christian, whose hope and trust is in the Lord Jesus Christ, it is the moment he or she has been yearning for. A promise of God, waiting to be fulfilled. The signs are very clear and it could happen any time. Maybe, while you are reading this devotional.

At the blast of the trumpet and in the twinkling of an eye, the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we who are alive will soon follow and thus we shall be with the Lord forever. Are you ready for the rapture? Have you crowned Jesus as your only Lord, God and Savior? Are you in a relationship with Him and His Father? Are you reading His Word, the Bible? Are you sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with others? If not, pray the prayer below. This will help you hand over your life to Jesus Christ and be saved. Don’t waste another moment, it may be too late. After the rapture takes place, the anti-Christ will be revealed and he will have control over the whole world. All those who did not trust and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ will be left behind. There will be an evil and wicked rule of the anti-Christ for the next seven years. The Bible says that this will be a terrible time of tribulation such as has never been experienced before. But God has made a way of escape for His people to avoid the tribulation period. For God’s people there will be eternal life free from sin, sickness, pain, persecution and death. Will you not accept God’s free gift of salvation for your life?

Prayer Lord Jesus Christ, I believe in You. I know You died on the cross of Calvary for my sins and on the third day, You rose from the grave. Forgive me for every sin of mine. I invite You to live in my heart and I now crown You Lord over my life. Make me the type of person You want me to be. Amen.
