Spiritual Warefare

I've never been in a war before but I have family members who have in the front lines of the war zone and I see the effects of being in combat in their eyes.
They say the eyes are the gateway of the soul and if being in a war makes a person different and unsettled, imagine the effects of a war of your own making.
When I came across this little devotional, I saw the key to overcoming any battle one may face whether it's man made or one you started.
It's simply stated and can't be beat, praise that comes from my lips can destroy even the toughest of enemies and when I look around at this world, I better sing louder and humbler so not only will I be the victor  but also have the mindset to never leave anyone behind for everyone is fighting some sort of battle and they're looking for a way to save them from the battle scares called life.
God Bless.
Spiritual Warfare
by Joyce Meyer -
And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] . . . And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always].
—Colossians 3:15
You are waging spiritual warfare when you give radical praise to God in the midst of your need and lack. When you are thankful to God for all He has done and is doing, you are defeating the enemy. When you hold your peace in the midst of the storm, you are warring with spiritual weapons (see 2 Corinthians 10:4-5).
Jesus said, Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you... [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled](John 14:27). Jesus has given you peace! Put it on, and wear it everywhere you go.

Repentance

I don't know about you but repentance can be a clutch for me.

I use it when I've been caught and there is no where for me to go. Maybe I don't take it seriously. Maybe I don't understand the true meaning of it. Whatever the reason, I use it way to much and for all the wrong reasons.

I cant lie, my heart is never truly in it and for that, I am truly sorry. But if I want to be a world changer, I has better get a heart makeover and get things lined up the way God intended for it to be.

People are going to hell in a handbasket and we could all us a crash course in what true repentance does for the mind, body, and soul.

So let's start a new trend and let others know just how cool true repentance can be.

God Bless.

Repentance

The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel
- Mark 1:15

Repentance involves a change of heart that leads to a change in action. It means forsaking sinful and rebellious ways in order to please our Creator God. But Jesus here takes it yet a step further.

Repent... and believe the gospel. As Jesus stands before us, warning that time is marching forward to a definite and purposeful conclusion, he calls us to repent and to believe. Repentance not only loosens our selfish hold on the things of this world; it also embraces the good news of another world.

What a sweet call this is! A call to believe that the good news that Jesus brings is actually true, that the God of heaven really has deigned to give his only Son on behalf of sinners. We are called to believe what might otherwise seem too good to be true. We are called to trust the God who cannot lie, to rest in the perfect work of a perfect Savior.

What about you? Do you see repentance as straitjacket to keep you from the good things in life, or have you come to understand that repentance is embracing the source of Life itself?

Time is progressing toward the inexorable end of one day facing our holy and hallowed Creator. Are you running from him now, or are you reveling in him now?

If All The Prayers That Were Promised Were Actually Prayed

I love things that make me think and inspires me to do more, and to become a different...better person.
I think this little devotional does just that. For me, it has inspired me to think differently, to dream a little more, and force me to become less selfish and I'm all for that.
The title alone held me and got me to thinking. I didn't need to read anymore but I am so glad I did. For I want to live in a world where there is no hate, only love. Kindness is the way of life and positivity oozes out of everyone you encounter, and the world knows there is a good God out there who wants nothing but the best for everyone.
I want everyone to stop saying I will pray for you and take a moment to do just that. I want a people who are a man and women of their word.
I want to live in a world that is people driven and who cares about the trouble others are going through and are willing to be the solution, not the problem.
I dream big, but I believe we can, and will, achieve, and show this world someone cares. It starts with me and I'm on a mission to do my part.
God Bless.
If all the prayers that were promised were actually prayed, this would be a different world by now.
— John Eldredge from Moving Mountains
Why I Stopped Saying 'I'll Pray For You' by John Eldredge, from Moving Mountains
I’ve come to the place where I have had to stop telling people, “I’ll pray for you.” I simply know that despite my good intentions — and these promises are almost always spoken with good intent
— I know that nine times out of ten I just don’t remember to follow through. Not until maybe a week or two later, and then I feel guilty that I forgot. I don’t like promising something I probably won’t live up to. You know how these stories go: Someone you care about tells you of their pain, need, or struggle, and you respond with, “Oh, I’m so sorry to hear that; I’ll pray for you.”
But then, most of the time, we never do. If all the prayers that were promised were actually prayed, this would be a different world by now. So instead of promising future prayer, what I try to do nowadays is stop, right there in the moment, and pray. Right then and there. It’s funny how many Christians this actually throws off guard. “You mean, right now?” “Yes — absolutely. Let’s pray.” In the restaurant, in the car, on the plane, wherever. If it’s a text or e-mail request, I’ll start praying as I type my response, typing out a prayer for them right then and there.
Not only does it help me follow through, but it helps them to agree right along with what I have prayed, and agreement is mighty powerful, as we know. I’m thinking of St. Patrick, how he would pray through the course of the day as he worked: “Tending flocks was my daily work, and I would pray constantly through the daylight hours. The love of God and the fear of Him surrounded me more and more — and faith grew and the spirit was roused, so that in one day I would say as many as a hundred prayers and after dark nearly as many again.”1 He simply did it right there, in the moment. For the truth is, there is no “later.” Now is the time to pray, for now is all we really have.
“Jesus, come into this — we invite You into this” is a great place to start. Whatever the need — guidance, direction, encouragement, healing, protection; the cancelled flight, the report from the doctor, the tension in relationship — this is the place to start. Invite Jesus right into the heart of it all, right there, in the moment. “Jesus, come into this — we invite You into this.” We do this often in our meetings at Ransomed Heart. Someone will say, “I think we ought to pray about such-and-such,” and I’ll reply, “Go for it. Lead us. Right now,” and we’ll stop what we are doing and pray. Because if we don’t, we rarely get back around to it.
I don’t know how many Christian meetings I’ve been in — board meetings, elder meetings — when all the time is used talking about what needs prayer, and we find we have barely a few minutes left at the end for one quick, little, rushed prayer. It’s a brilliant ploy of the enemy — keep God’s people talking about it, debating, conjecturing, worrying over it, speculating, so they never really get around to praying. By all means, pray when you have time and space to devote yourself to it, time to truly seek God. But pray now too — because you don’t know that you will get to it later.

Everyone has a reason to pray. We long to see God come through for us and those we love. But sometimes he doesn't, and where does that leave us? Are we doing something wrong? Does he not hear? How come some people's prayers seem more effective than others? Then we lose heart and give up on prayer—the very weapon God has given us to not lose heart. If you are interested in prayer at all, you want prayer that works. That is the kind of prayer at the center of this book. When we discover that prayer is not just asking God to do something—prayer is partnership with God—new possibilities open before us. Most of us want to know more about how prayer works. While we are used to offering up prayers, we wonder if we are praying in the most effective way or if we are approaching the throne of God in the "right" way. We ask ourselves: How do I listen for God? How do I pray for healing? How do I pray when I am under spiritual attack? How do I pray to break through strongholds of habitual sin? How do I pray for protection? How do I pray for my lost friends and family? In Moving Mountains Study Guide, bestselling author John Eldredge shows how we labor under the misconception that prayer is asking God to intervene instead of partnering with him to get things done. This faulty assumption leads to untold confusion and grief when we ask of God but can't sense He hears us--or even cares. Rather, Jesus says, "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven" (Matthew 16:19). When we operate from this position, we approach prayer with far greater confidence. We understand we have a role in making change happen and are not victims of circumstance--that we are sons and daughters of God bestowed with tremendous authority. Seek God's Kingdom And He Will Solve Your Problems

I know the scripture and can recite most of it from memory. You know the one, see ye first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you.
For years I thought I was but in fact, I was taking two steps forward and knocking myself ten steps back. Not necessary with my actions but with my thinking.
I must change how I think. It's not an option but a necessary. I must get back to my first love and not look at those things that are around me and press forward to the prize that awaits me.
I long to see Jesus and everything that goes with Him. And If I want to do just that, I must seek His face. I must seek Him. I must continue to seek the kingdom. One thing I know is when God created Earth, He intended it to be just like heaven and for all man kind to walk in His glory.
We keep saying we will when we get to heaven but I think it's possible to walk in heaven here on this crazy earth now. I think it can be done. It starts with me and my williness to seek Him out and let nothing deter me. Not my circumstances, not my husband, not my children, or anything else.
It's easier said then done but I have a dream....it can be done.
God Bless.
Seek God’s Kingdom And He Will Solve Your Problems
Romans 14:17 17… the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Are you troubled by many things today? For example, are you concerned about your rebellious teenager?
Perhaps you see him as your problem, so you do your best to discipline him, only to end up with a heart full of worries and pain. And he is no better! God says to you, “Don’t focus on controlling your rebellious teenager. Instead, seek first My kingdom, which is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Be conscious of the righteousness you have as a gift from My Son. Keep your inner man flowing with My peace and joy, and I will take care of your child.” We tend to think that the people around us are the problem. When we don’t get the promotion we want, we blame our bosses and colleagues.
When we lose our temper, we blame our wives and kids. However, God wants us to stop looking outside and to start looking within because His kingdom is within us. (Luke 17:21) The abundance of the kingdom of God is already inside you. As you seek first God’s kingdom, and follow His righteousness, peace and joy, the abundance within you will flow out and become a reality in your circumstances. (Matthew 6:33)
You will find that God has not only taken care of what is troubling you, but has also added blessings to you, be it a promotion, well-behaved kids or a loving wife. “But Pastor Prince, how do I keep my inner man flowing with righteousness, peace and joy?” Be conscious of your righteousness in Christ. Don’t be conscious of your sins and problems. Listen to anointed sermons that remind you of how righteous you are because of the perfect sacrifice of Christ. Peace and joy flow when you know that all your sins have been forgiven because of Jesus’ finished work. So the next time something troubles you, don’t focus on correcting the problem. Instead, seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness.
Make it a priority to have your inner man flowing with His peace and joy, and He will take care of that problem for you!
Thought For The Day Have your inner man flowing with God’s peace and joy, and He will take care of that problem for you.

God's Protection From Fear For Your Nation

Lord knows, we live in crazy, uncertain times, and the countries of this world needs a spiritual intervention.
You all know the scripture, if my people who are called will humble themselves, and pray, I will heal their land.
I have a crazy idea, let's do it. Let's humble ourselves and pray for the leaders of the country instead of mocking them or protesting. Quit posting your political views on social media, and pray.
May we seperate ourselves from all the negativity and begin a life of prayer for change. May we think of others before ourselves. Make kindness and love cool again.
We have do something. We need God to heal but He can't do that if we are bent on destroying. We need a heart transplant of the Godly kind for there is a world who is going to hell in a handbasket. And I'm pretty sure the world will appreciate us getting our act together. Let's do this!
God Bless.
God's Protection from Fear For Your Nation
In Philippians 4:6 we are told to not to be anxious, fret, or worry. Instead of worrying, we are told to pray. your petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. (MSG).
Anxiety is a state of apprehension, tension, distress, or uneasiness. This often occurs when we expect more from people, possession, or even your government beyond what it was designed to be and do by God.
Listen to prayer

The Blood of Jesus Protects

I don't use the blood of Jesus enough in my every day life. Only when I think about it or when I'm in a situation and I'm forced to cry out.
This is a shame. I understand the blood and what I need it but I don't ever use it until it's my last option.
Instead, I should be making it a high priority. Every day, all day.
When I leave, use it to protect my house, my pocessions, my animals, my car, my kids, my husband, and I should use it even if I'm at home.
With this crazy world, you need the blood of Jesus covering everything even if your taking a nap in your favorite recliner.
The blood of Jesus is there for the use, we just need to take it down off the shelve, and step back and watch how it spices up your life.
Trust me, you will be thankful for it and you will never leave home without it.
God Bless.
The Blood Of Jesus Protects
Exodus 12:13
13… And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.
For 400 years, the children of Israel were slaves in Egypt. Life for them was one of hard labor, pain, loss and even death. When Moses their deliverer came, what soon followed was one plague after another on the Egyptians. But none of the plagues caused Pharaoh to release the Israelites until they put the blood on their doorposts. What nine plagues could not do, the blood did! The Israelites were finally set free because of the blood.
Are you under any kind of bondage? Are your loved ones held captive by the destroyer who is bent on destroying them? Plead the blood of the Lamb of God over all that is yours and your family’s. When nothing else seems to work, His blood always works!
When I was a teenager doing a stint as a relief teacher in a primary school, one of the girls in my class was absent from school one day. I didn’t think too much about her absence until I returned home that afternoon. As I was praying, I was prompted by the Holy Spirit to pray for her protection and to cover her with the precious blood of Jesus.
It was revealed later on that she had been abducted by a notorious serial killer who had murdered a number of young children. My pupil recounted how she had been tied up and offered to the “deities” the killer had in his flat. Miraculously, he released her when the evil spirits found her to be an unsuitable offering.
Why was this pupil released unharmed? I believe that she was presented to the deities on the same afternoon that I pleaded the blood of Jesus over her. Of course, the evil spirits did not want her because the Most High God would not allow them to have her. God was protecting her. She was set free because of the blood of Jesus!
You see, when you plead the blood of Jesus, the destroyer cannot come near. When he sees the blood, he must respect the blood. He cannot touch what is covered by the blood. The blood of Jesus truly protects and sets you free!
Thought For The Day
When you plead the blood of Jesus, the destroyer cannot come near.

From Dreaming To Doing

I do a lot of dreaming and no doing.

It's a habit I am working on breaking. If all my dreams came true, Lord knows, there would be no room to contain them.

I'm a dreamer who dreams about being a doer and with the help of a good, good, father who whispers in my ear He is proud of me, and encourages me to keep going, I know I can change my outlook and my dreams will no longer be the dreams of tomorrow but become the reality of today.

God Bless.

“From Dreaming to Doing”

Growing up, I heard today’s verse interpreted in negative terms. Take sinful thoughts captive and keep them out of your mind. And that is half the battle. But if we focus on the negative implications while ignoring the positive possibilities, it becomes a half-truth.
It’s also about capturing creative thoughts and keeping them in our minds. Simply put, it’s about stewarding every idea inspired by the Holy Spirit. Every dream is created twice. The first creation is mental. Every invention, every business, every building, every painting is conceived in the right-brain imagination first. It’s nothing more than a single-cell idea at that point.
The second creation is physical. You make it obedient to Christ via blood, sweat, and tears. If your dream is a book, you make it obedient with a keyboard. If your dream is playing professional sport, you make it obedient at the gym. If your dream is making music, you make it obedient one note at a time. Your dreams will never exceed your imagination. You can’t achieve what you don’t believe. So idea generation is important. But idea execution is where the rubber meets the road. I like thinkers.
They make me think. And I applaud their ability to plot. But I love doers even more. They inspire me to action. And it’s the plodders, not the plotters, who make things happen. God isn’t going to say, “Well planned, good and faithful servant.” He won’t say well thought, well said, or well strategized either. There is one commendation: “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Setting goals is fun and games. Going after them is another matter. Without perspiration to match your inspiration, your dream imagined will turn into a dream deferred. What do you need to start? What are you waiting for? Maybe it’s a diet.
Maybe it’s a graduate program. Maybe it’s a church or a business. Whatever it is, the hardest part of finishing is starting. Going after a dream is like riding a bike—you’ve got to get a little momentum to really get going. Consider this your push. Where do you stand on the road to execution of your God-given idea?

Forget Me Not

I can reveal another secret of mine. I live in the land of believing I will not have enough and I am always buying two, maybe three, okay, four things of everything. I don't ever want to be without.
I guess I get this trait from when we were struggling and having a hard time with things. Having a baby, a teenager, a husband, and yourself living under the same roof and you are in constant comng down to the wire and wondering where the next meal was going to be and if you will have enough napkins instead of toilet paper does something to a person.
So I admit it, yes, I know God seen me through those times and didn't let us down but I still have the fear I won't have enough.
So, I live in the land of excess. But I am working on it along side my husband and we only buy two of a product if we know it is going to get used until the next paycheck. We also have a smaller stockpile which includes toilet paper, water, can items, a small freezer, romain noodles, and a generator all in case of a zombie apocalypse or God forbidden we are left behind in the rapture.
I know, but it's a fight. A fight I'm pursuing to win.
God Bless.
But when you had eaten and were satisfied, you became proud and forgot me. (NLT) -Hosea 13:6
Excess is a real struggle for many in our culture. With freezers full of frozen food, clothes for every season, and shelter for our cars, it's no wonder we're so proud. We must not forget where these provisions come from. Don't forget to thank God everyday for all that He has provided. Not only does it show appreciation; most importantly it will keep you humble.

Don't Use Foul Or Abusive Language

I must admit, when I read this, I had to laugh out loud. For you see, I have a secret. And the secret is that i have no problem letting cuss words leave my mouth especially in the height of my temper.
No one wants to be around me when I'm angry, it is not a pretty picture. I have no real excuse for all those other times when my mouth gets away from me.
Cussing is a daily struggle for me. Now however, I no longer live in condemnation for cussing. Instead, I now know I have a Father who loves me, will not throw me away when I can't get my tongue under control. Instead, He is continually working in my life with faith in me that I will conquer all things, even something as silly as my battle of words.
And I will be forever grateful for His mercies and His faith in me and He shows me in the little things such as this little devotional.
God Bless.
Don't use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them. (NLT) -Ephesians 4:29
Go one step beyond not using abusive language. Instead of trying to just stay neutral in difficult situations, provide words of encouragement. There are many situations in which anger can creep up, such as when your spouse forgets to take out the trash, pay a bill, or pick up eggs from the store. Remember to be patient, understanding and forgiving, and then let your spouse know how much you appreciate them.

Your Words Carry Power

I have never given to much thought into what I say but over the past few months. So much has happened to my family these last few years where I finally had to step back and get alone with God to figure out how I was going to survive all the blows that came my way.
And one of the first things I felt God tell me was the words out of my mouth had power and the negative words were outweighing the positive ones. So, I searched out what I felt He had told me and I can honestly say, the words that had been coming out of my mouth weren't helping anything.
They were negative, no life, no hope, and certainly came from a place of deep hurt. I've been on a journey by myself to get back to who I was and who I want to become and I can honestly say, I feel like I am on the right track and I' want God's will more than my own. My future prove what my heart is saying more than what my mouth has.
God Bless.
Your Words Carry Power!
Ecclesiastes 8:4 Where the word of a king is, there is power…
In Bible times, a king’s word carried tremendous power. What he decreed would come to pass. It would be done. For example, if he said, “Raise the taxes,” the taxes would be raised. Do you know that we are kings?
The Bible tells us that Jesus has washed us from our sins with His blood and made us kings. (Revelation 1:5–6) And as kings in Christ, our words carry power too.
When we place our hands on a sick person and say, “Be healed,” the person is healed. When we lay hands on our children and say, “Be blessed,” our children are blessed.
There is power in our words because they are the words of kings! When I was a young Christian in my teens, I wanted to practice what I had learnt about the power of my words. There was this particular plant near my home and whenever I passed by it, I would say to it, “Be cursed in Jesus’ name!”
Many days passed. And I will never forget the day when I noticed that the leaves of the plant had turned brown! You may want to try this at home with your potted plants, but bless them instead! Since our words carry power, can you imagine the harm we do when we say to our loved ones things like, “You are always so careless”, “You are good for nothing” or “You are so stupid”? We are cursing them! The devil is happy when you use the power of your words against yourself and your loved ones. He wants to see you defeated. So instead of saying, “I am always short of money,” say, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1)
Instead of saying, “I am so useless. I can’t do anything,” start saying, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13) Beloved, remember that as a king, what you say will come to pass because where the word of a king is, there is power. So learn to say what God says about you in His Word and see His promises come to pass in your life! Thought For The Day As kings in Christ, our words carry power. When we speak God’s promises, they will come to pass.

Don't Just Pretend

I am going to be competely honest here. It's a new year; a new me...a better me.
I have a secret that I want to expose about myself. Ready?
Here it is: I have a hard time with people. Like them, dealing with them, and most of the time I wonder why where their common sense went.
That's me but the spiritual me, loves people and has a longing to see everyone in the world come to the knowledge of the Savior of the world.
It is like a constant battle for me between my spiritural man and my human side but for the most part through the grace of God, my spiritual side wins and when my human side takes over and gets a punch here and there in, I know that God still see's me as perfect and loves me because of who I sever and I now have the knowledge and certainity when I screw up, God covers up and still finds a way for me to show His love to everyone I come into contact with.
Thank God, He knows more and cares about things than I do or no one would be safe from my human side.
God Bless.
Don't just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. (NLT) -Romans 12:9
No one likes a fake smile because of the insincerity associated with it. Nor does anyone like false love from a person. Love is such a profound form of affection that it should not be artificial. If you do not have genuine concern for someone then pray for God to soften your heart towards them.

Encourage

I don't think there is anything more important than encouraging others.

There are hundreds, more like millions of people who are hurting. There are people who looking for someone who will listen to them; help them get out of the pits of there own making, or maybe life has just thrown them a curve ball. Maybe they have family issues. Money issues. The list is endless.

People need encouragement. Someone who won't judge them but will show them a different way and it is my hope that I am one of them not for my own gain but for His.

And this little devotional has encouraged me not to give up but to keep going because there is a lost and dying world out there who needs a Savior and needs to see and know everything He can offer them.

God Bless.

If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging.
If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously.
And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly. (NLT) -Romans 12:8
Our culture sometimes pushes us to be something that we're not, but this is a good reminder that each one of us is unique with our own talents.
We should treasure the things that we're good at and do those things well. You can honor God by putting your talents to good use. Do them with passion, kindness and vigor.

Lover Of The Father

There is so much that is wonderful about the world we live in not to mention some of the things I think I can't live without but as I start a new journey, I have to take a step back and take a hard look at the truth.
And the truth is, I can live without most of the things this world has to offer. I also have to ask myself if the reason why I want the things of this world is because I want to keep up with the Jones and for other selfish reasons. And truth be told, I'm selfish. I want what I want, when I want it. Nothing more and nothing less.
But if I take a close look at what God says about the things of this world, he cautions about the dangers of being sucked into the lie the things of the world seems to hold on us.
Sometimes the things of this world turns good things ugly and make people make choices otherwise they never would. It's a constant battle and I'm thankful for devotionals that help me keep my eyes on the things of the Father instead and the benefits He offers me.
I'm thankful for a loving Father who knows what I need in any given time and this little devotional does just that. Truth for a daily life is worth more than any amount of money.
God Bless.
Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you.  For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions.  These are not from the Father, but are from this world. (NLT) -1 John 2:15-16
The world can be a very attractive place. As Christians we need to avoid the three things John mentions that are of this world. Why? Because loving the world produces bad fruit: pride, greed, entitlement, discontentment and so forth. What things that exist in your life prevent you from having the love of the Father in you?

Be Fully Satisfied

I long to be satisfied and to live a satisfying life. My dream would be to live a life with no difficulities, fights, or death for the remaining of my life but I must admit, I live a delusional life. Those things are impossible as long as I live in this world.

However, I can at least be satisfied and live contently while I am in this world, which would make for a happy person. You see, when I'm happy, those around me find themselves happy and isn't the well-being and life of others what it's all about?

I think so. So, if I really care about other people, I must do my part in getting my crap together and lay my selfishness aside for the better of mankind,

So when I came across this little devotional, I now have a game a plan for making my goal obtainable today and in the days to come.

God Bless.

Be Fully Satisfied

by Joyce Meyer

Planted in the house of the Lord, they shall flourish in the courts of our God. [Growing in grace] they shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be full of sap [of spiritual vitality] and [rich in the] verdure [of trust, love, and contentment].
—Psalm 92:13–14

Many people pursue possessions and awards to satisfy their inner need for contentment. But we can be fully satisfied in lean times and in times of abundance, whether we abase or abound (See Philippians 4:12), when we learn to enjoy fellowship with the Lord as soon as we wake up.
Before you are fully awake, you can start talking to God. Just thank Him for seeing you through yesterday, and for being with you today. Praise Him for providing for you, and for working out all the situations in your life for your good.
Ask Him to make you aware of His presence all day long. Peace fills your heart when your mind is on the Lord. Nothing is more satisfying than walking with God.

God's Title

Do you have a title for God? Do you even think about giving God a title?
Or are you like me and have never really thought about it and are just flip it about your Christian walk not to mention if you get through the day without falling apart then it's a good day and your a good Christian.
Yep, that's me. I say I want to go deeper but I find myself just happy to get through the day. So when I come across a little devotional who gives my spirit a jolt with just a few words than I need to pay attention to what the Holy Spirit is trying to tell me and motivating me to go deeper as much as my heart wants to.
God Bless.

God's Title: His Name is Lord by Sally Lloyd-Jones, from Thoughts to Make Your Heart Sing When someone important is being introduced, the announcer usually says, “Mr. So-And-So — Founder of This Extra-Important Company!” or, “Miss Something Else — Nobel-Prize-Winning Inventor of This Brilliant Thing!”
Do you know how God likes to be introduced? His name is the Lord... Father to the fatherless, defender of widows. — Psalm 68:4-5 (NLT)
Our Almighty God, who sifted stars through His fingers, stands not with kings and princes, but with the weak, the powerless, the poor. Because the people no one else thinks are important have a special place in God’s heart. He hears their cries. He fights for them and defends them. And one night long ago, in Bethlehem, He stepped out of Heaven and became one of them.

God's Trump Card

God’s Trump Card
I don’t play a lot of cards or games for that matter, but when I do, I have a general understanding of how the game is played. In most card games, there is usually a trump card giving the player a slight edge.
According to Webster dictionary a trump card is something that gives one person or group the advantage over another. And when you look up trump in the Strong Concordence, trump is listed eleven times with a meaning that is closely related to a trumpet but if you dig a little deeper in the concordance, it points to another possiblity:
To Shake, agitate, cause to tremble, to call to war.
With the start of 2017, we as a nation, and as a people, are standing on the verge of history as we watch the transition of power take place in our nation’s capital. This is by no mean’s an article on politics. I don’t care if you are democrate or a republican or if you voted for Hilary or Trump. What I do care about is the aftermath of one of the craziest elections that I had the honor of being apart of.
Not only do I think the people spoke, but more importantly, God is speaking, and loudly. I think if we listen real closely we will hear a faint sound of a mightly roar coming from the Lion, Himself. A roar that is growing louder and louder with each passing day, week, and year.
I believe, God is shouting for His church to arise and take America back. I believe we, the church is down to our last card to play. If we don’t start being the church, I don’t think there will be another hand to be played.
If the church doesn’t get their head in the game, only God knows what will happen next but if you look at the players involved, you fnd it doesn’t take a genious to see what will happen next. We, the church, can no long put on our poker faces and try to out do one another.
We, the church can no longer afford to gamble our future and the future generations away for a mere moment of pleasure. We can’t go fishing for something that will be here today and gone tomorrow.
We, the church has to acknowledge Satan’s game and no longer play by his rules rather begin to seek God’s strategies for America and the billions of people who live within it’s boarders. We can no longer use the old maid excuse where we don’t want to be the one’s who are thrown into the front lines of an age long war between good vs. evil.
We, the church must no longer pass the trash of others. We must get our lips in line and see people for who they are, loved by a good-good Father. The clock is running out and the opportunity to go to the four corners will no longer be an option.
We can no longer afford to be solitary in our lives, in what we believe, and who we associate with. We can no long play judge and jury, Spite and malice can no longer be a stronghold in our lives. We can no long spoon feed oursevles into thinking I will do what God wants to me to do tomorrow.
We, the church, and individually must no longer spade ourselve into thinking if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it. The church is broken, families are broken, people are lost and dying and going to hell befoere our very eyes. Oh hell does exist and it’s dominon is lead by a boss monster who likes to play the momory game. You know the one, bringing up things that Jesus already sank into the deepest part of the sea.
Yep, Jesus can play too. He play’s only one game and he’s the master of of it. He plays battleship better than anyone I know. If you have a problem, He will sink it faster than you can say rummy. Uno, Jesus doesn’t care about where you been only where your heading. He will speed up your forever if you allow Him into your heart and take control. He is the only seven wonder we need. His splendor is beyond anything we can even think or imagine. He will spit on your eyes and make you see again. He has written a love letter to the world and His love for us can be found over and over in the pages of the bible. He will never have to say He is sorry for not being there for us for He is and always will be closer than a brother. Pictionary is His game for there isn’t anything to complicated or hard for Him that He hasn’t already given us a picture to live by. We no longer need to live in a world of candy land and be cluecless about where and who we belong to.
So church, let us arise, stop scrabbling, and be willing to risk it all to be the bride He paid for. Let us become the trump card God needs; connecting for a much higher purpose because this game of life needs hearts who will have a domino effect and will advoid the mouse traps that befall this world and begin to operate in the mighty power of God and who doesn’t care who’s president but has set their sights on making the world Godly again by dealing only in loving one another just as He loves us and bridging the gap to where peace, love, unity, and harmony can reign until the roar becomes the trumpet that will lead us all home.

The King Is Not Angry With You

I hate to make anyone angry and I hate to be angry myself which is usually not pretty.
So I really struggle with "anger issues." I am so glad, I now have revelation God isn't angry with me if I fall. I know know God see's me through the eyes of Jesus and what He accomplished on the cross.
It is not about me but it is all about what Jesus did. Knowing this doesn't allow me to run wild and free or think my sins or actions because of them will have no consqeuences.
No, knowing God isn't angry with me frees me to be me without any condemnation. It helps to press forward, to keep my eyes where they should be, and allows me to enjoy the journey.
And I am all for that.
God Bless.
The King Is Not Angry With You
Proverbs 19:12
12The king’s wrath is like the roaring of a lion, but his favor is like dew on the grass.
The Bible tells us that the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8) But have you ever wondered why he acts like a roaring lion?
It has something to do with a lion’s roar. In the Bible, the roaring of a lion speaks of the king’s wrath — “The king’s wrath is like the roaring of a lion”. So when the devil walks about like a roaring lion, he is trying to give you the impression that the King is angry with you. And when you believe that God is angry with you, the devil knows that he has got you.
When you think that God is angry or displeased with you, you will not be confident of His love toward you. Instead, you will expect and fear punishment from Him. And you will want to stay away from Him because you do not wish to incur His wrath any further.
But the truth is that God is not angry with you, even when you fail or blow it, because all your sins have already been judged in the body of His Son at the cross. As the Lamb of God, Jesus became your burnt offering. That is why He said, “I thirst.” (John 19:28)
Those who heard Him say that at Calvary that day thought that His thirst was physical. Actually, His thirst was spiritual because He was being “burnt” by the fire of God’s wrath. He was being judged for our sins. His body exhausted all of God’s wrath until every claim of God’s holiness was satisfied and His wrath appeased!
Now, there is a law called “the law of double jeopardy”, which states that the same crime cannot be tried twice. Today, the fire of God’s wrath will never fall on you as a believer because it has already fallen on His Son at the cross. He judged your sins then, but in the body of His Son.
So right now, you are not under the King’s wrath but His favor. And His favor rains down on you like dew on the grass every morning!
Thought For The Day
You are not under the King’s wrath but His favor.

Spritual Praying

I need all the help I can get when it comes to prayer. It's so confusing and sometimes condeming if you let it.
The Holy Spirit is a great teacher and He usually sends me some sign or a nugget to help me with the situation I am working on.
So when I came across this little devotional, I had a lightbulb moment. I love lightbulb moments. For me, they are encouraging and in no way make me feel like I'm stupid or have missed the mark. But instead they show me just how close I really am to seeing thngs God's way. I'm all for that.
Spiritual praying isn't hard, just handy if you want to change the world.
God Bless.

Spiritual Praying
by Joyce Meyer
Then what am I to do? I will pray with my spirit [by the Holy Spirit that is within me], but I will also pray [intelligently] with my mind and understanding; I will sing with my spirit [by the Holy Spirit that is within me], but I will sing [intelligently] with my mind and understanding also.
— 1 Corinthians 14:15
Earlier I referred to “the mind aiding the spirit.” For many people, this is a difficult concept to grasp. I understand what Paul meant because it’s something I’ve learned to use in my own spiritual growth.
For example, one morning I set aside my usual time for prayer. I began to pray, but my prayers felt flat—nothing energized them—and there was no help from my spirit. As I struggled, I reminded myself that I had made myself available to God, and I wanted the Spirit to use me to change lives.
I continued to pray but nothing changed. This had happened before, so I wasn’t discouraged. I kept on praying and telling God the things about which I was concerned. After several minutes, a powerful energy took hold of me. I knew I had touched the area where the Holy Spirit wanted me to pray. This became more than my concern—this was God’s concern.
I began by praying out of my mind—about things that I knew of and thought needed prayer. I was praying in English because that is my normal language, and I understood what I was saying. But when the energizing power of the Spirit came, without any conscious thought, I began to pray with my prayer language, or what many of us refer to as an unknown tongue.
Paul was our example and teacher in this area. He said he knew how to pray with the Spirit, and he knew how to pray with the understanding. This may not make sense to everyone—and it certainly can confuse people at first. However, I encourage you not to reject a gift of God that is available to you merely because you have not experienced it and don’t understand it. Be open to God, and ask Him to teach you about praying in other tongues.
Think of it this way. God calls us to prayer. That’s our joy as well as our responsibility. Sometimes when we talk to God, we hardly know what to say. We pray, but our words feel inadequate. It’s as if there is a depth to our burdens that transcends words. Something is going on that’s so strong within us—so overwhelming—we have no words to speak. To use English feels utterly useless. No matter what we say to God out of our own minds (understanding), we feel we have not broken through and obtained a victory.
Then comes what I call a prayer release. I speak in words I don’t understand—words that are beyond the grasp of my human mind—and yet my spirit “understands,” or bears witness that my prayers are correct and are getting the job done.
The best biblical reference I can give for this experience is Acts 2, which tells the story of Pentecost. The disciples prayed in an upper room while Jews came from all over the world to the city of Jerusalem. The 120 people in that room were so filled with the Holy Spirit that they burst out speaking in unknown languages—unknown to them. But the visitors heard them, “And when this sound was heard, the multitude came together and they were astonished and bewildered, because each one heard them [the apostles] speaking in his own [particular] dialect” (Acts 2:6).
The apostle Paul thanked God that he spoke in tongues, and he also said that nobody should forbid anyone to do so. There has been a great deal of division in the church over the issue of speaking in tongues, but I encourage you to go straight to your Bible and see what the Word of God says about it. Don’t have a closed mind to any of the precious gifts of the Holy Spirit. We need all the supernatural help we can get to help us live our lives victoriously.
Some people teach that the gift of speaking in tongues went away with the early church, but there are millions of people worldwide who speak in tongues today. Those who speak in other tongues are certainly no better, nor are they more spiritual than those who do not speak in tongues, but once again, I encourage you to seek God for yourself in this area, so your prayers can be as powerful as possible.
When we pray in the Spirit, our minds and our spirits work together. Our minds yield to our spirits, and we are praying the perfect prayer that God desires.
Holy Spirit, I desire all the supernatural gifts You have made available. I need all the help I can get to enable me to live victoriously. I want to pray powerful prayers that are led by the Holy Spirit. I know You hear and answer the prayers I pray in my known language, but I am open to receiving the gift of an unknown language that will enable me to speak secrets and mysteries unto You. I trust You, Jesus, to lead me in the right direction. Amen.

His-Story

HIS-STORY
I have been thinking a lot about history; the circumstances and factors in which history is made. I can’t help wonder if the people who have “so called” made history knew thier actions would somehow be told over and over again throughout generations and if they did, would they still do the thing that gave them their claim to fame.
According to Wiikipedia, the definition of history is the study of the past as it is described in written documents.
Hence making the bible the most reliable account of the in’s and the out’s of God, His Son, and the Holy Spirit.
The bible records the most amazing life-changing events the universe has to offer. You can find the solution to any and all problems you have or may encounter. There is nothing like it. While it stands alone as being one of the all-time greatest piece of litature ever sold, we Christians find the bible to be more than just words written on thin pieces of paper but as a gift from a living God who has a lot to say about our hope, our future, and His promises to see us through anything thrown at us.
Yes, God has a story. A story unlike anything we’ve have ever read before or will read again. His story consists of His power, His presence, and His ability to create something good out of dust. His ability to create fish to swim the seas and living things to roam the earth is nothing short of majestic making His awesomeness unfathomable.
His story talks about how He gave this earth a reason to spin around the sun on it’s axis without falling from space by just speaking to it. His story calls light into being, grass to grow, flowers to bloom, birds to sing, sea’s to part, and for time to stand still.
His story shows us everything we need to know about His mercy and love by just looking at a rainbow, in the very breath you breath, and how He will move heaven and earth to come find you when your lost and you can’t find your way out of the pit. He will walk with you through the fire, shut the mouth of lions, and will restore your heart and soul in ways beyond what you can think or imagine.
His story will cause you to fall on your knees as you feel His presece fill the emptiness life has bruised and battered you with and will make you want to walk on water. His pressence will cause you to get back up again ready to change the world because you’ve been given a clean heart and clean hands; a second chance of a rebirth that can and will shake those who are around you causing them to take notice and to cry out what must I do to become like you and you won’t hesitate in giving them the only thing they need, the living water. His presence will cause you to get ahold of His heart, take up His cause, and will take you through the valley of the shadow of death causing you to put your faith in something death can’t conquer no matter how hard it has tried.
His story shows you just what His power can do from the raising of the dead, to healing of the sick, causing eyes to see, ears to hear, and go as far as to make one tear a roof off just to get close to It. His power will cause miracles to become the norm. It will feed five thousand, calm the storms, move mountains, and destroy’s anything that tries to come against you.
His story will point you to the King of Kings and Lord of Lord giving you the freedom to dance in the streets while shouting for joy. You will find new songs to sing, a friend you’ve longed for, a helpmeet, someone who will fight for you, someone who has already died for you, who will guide you, remind you of who you are every chance He gets, and will never leave you, and is the soon coming king.
His story is indeed an amazing story one that makes anything else in history seem non-relavant and meaningless. History has nothing to compare to the story that was, that is, and still to come. His story is the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end. And no matter how you want to look at it, His story is all-consuming changing lives on a minute by minute basis and if you let it, it will be the rock of your foundation, the cornerstone to everything you hold dear causing you to live a life of faith where doubt and fear are afraid to tread. His story will cause you to cry out to the one true God and in return you will be known as friend, counted as a son or daughter of a King, a bride to be making you eligable to see Him in a cloud of glory, and to be by His side as He establishes His kingdom on earth all the while making history reigning forever more with the one who was born to a virgin but was destined to be King.
