I don't think there is anything more important than encouraging others.
There are hundreds, more like millions of people who are hurting. There are people who looking for someone who will listen to them; help them get out of the pits of there own making, or maybe life has just thrown them a curve ball. Maybe they have family issues. Money issues. The list is endless.
People need encouragement. Someone who won't judge them but will show them a different way and it is my hope that I am one of them not for my own gain but for His.
And this little devotional has encouraged me not to give up but to keep going because there is a lost and dying world out there who needs a Savior and needs to see and know everything He can offer them.
God Bless.
If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging.
If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously.
And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly. (NLT) -Romans 12:8
Our culture sometimes pushes us to be something that we're not, but this is a good reminder that each one of us is unique with our own talents.
We should treasure the things that we're good at and do those things well. You can honor God by putting your talents to good use. Do them with passion, kindness and vigor.
