The title can and does fool ya for this little devotional. If you don't read it, one might think it has to do with alcohol (keeping my opinions to myself here), but in fact, this little devotional is trying to get us to see just how important the Holy can and is and should be in our lives.
All we need to do, is seek him out and make Him a priority in our lives so that we can live a life of fullness and have a greater love and reverence for our Lord and Savior.
Don't be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit. (NLT) -Ephesians 5:18
What does it mean to be filled with the Holy Spirit? It's allowing yourself to be led by God and being filled with His love and grace. When you are filled with the Holy Spirit you express love to others which is uncharacteristic to you. A time will come today when you are angered or frustrated, but instead of reacting, allow yourself to be filled with the Holy Spirit and respond with love and grace.
