Salvation Is Not A Reward For The Good Things We Have Done

As Christmas approaches, we must remember the reason for the season. Christ and what He has done not just for you and me but for the whole world.
Salvation is the best gift we could give a person and once they are saved the next best gift we could give them is the knowledge of what it means to be saved reminding them salvation isn't earned, we don't have to work for it, or pay a price for it for the price has already been paid and His willingness and love for me, is the best gift/reward I could ever recieved.
God Bless.
Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. (NLT) -Ephesians 2:9-10
The majority of things in life we work hard to earn: a living, an education, trust, respect, etc. But, opposite to the ways of this world, God doesn't ask us to work for His love. There is nothing we can even do to earn God's love. It is by grace alone that He loves us.
