100 Days of Scriptures of Encouragement: Day 31

Psalm 143:10

Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

The greatest thing we could ever do is say "God teach me" and He will come running. The next greatest thing we could ever do is to acknowledge Him as your Lord and Savior. No, that is the greatest thing you could ever do and then the next best thing is for you to ask Him to teach you and to lead you into the path where you were meant to follow.

If He has your heart, He will move heaven and earth to come to where you are and commune with you. He loves you, longs for a relationship with you. There is no one else like you. You were created in His image and He knows your every thought.

He is a good God. He's the only God. He's a living God who can't wait to dwell in you. You will be changed, renewed, and used mightily to change the world.

He will teach you everything you need to know about Him. He will teach you what you need to do to serve Him faithfully. He is a great teacher. He's a great listener. He gives out homework, yet doesn't punish you for failing. He's willing to pick you up after you fall. He has done it all. He's the Lord of Host. The Lord God who has conquered all.

He's the Mighty God. He is Able. He is the I Am. He's everything you need Him to be! Don't walk towards Him but run mightily into His outstretched arms.

God Bless.

100 Days of Scriptures of Encouragement: Day30

Romans 12:2

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Don't settle for anything this world has to offer. I know it is easier said than done. There is a lot of temptations out there but believe me, there will be a price to be paid if you go after them. Maybe not today, or tomorrow, but it may have an effect on your grandchildren or your great grandchildren.

Love not the things of this world but keep your mind on Christ. You can do it, I can do it, we can do it by getting into God's word then believing what He says and just live the way He wants us to live. If we obey, we will be in His perfect will for our lives.

How do you know if your in His perfect will? Knowing the word and living it on a daily basis. This is not some fly by night operation. It's a commitment. A life long commitment but there is nothing greater than walking the path that He intended for you to walk.

Walk gracefully, read the word daily, and love thy God with all your heart, and together, we can change a nation!

God Bless.

100 Days of Scriptures of Encouragement: Day 29

Proverbs 16:3

Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.

It's all about the Lord. Our thoughts, our plans, our actions and everything we go to do should all be for the glory of God. Nothing of us should be found in what "We say we do for Him."

There can be none of us just more of Him. Give Him your heart, your dreams, and you everyday life and watch and see if He doesn't come through for you.

See if He doesn't make your path straight, and your life worth living. Go ahead, give Him your all and watch Him pour out all of Him on you because He loves you and wants only good things for you.

He has a plan and purpose for you. Life that is more abundant that what we can ever think or dream. Nothing is to small for Him. Nothing is to big for Him to overcome.

So go ahead. Live big, live large, but just make sure He's first in your life and He'll move on your behalf.

God Bless.

100 Days of Scriptures of Encouragement: Day 28

Psalm 137:7-10

Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? 8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. 9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; 10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.

He's there. He's there no matter where we go. We can't go to far away from His grasp. We can't hide where He can't find us. We can't run to the ends of the earth where His hand doesn't reach out and pulls us back.

He knows all. See's all. Is all. He is Omnipotent. All knowing God who has conquered death by giving power over to His son to rise from the dead.

If He can raise Jesus from the dead, He can raise us too. No matter what we get ourselves into. He's always willing to come to our rescue. See it's all about family for Him. That's all He has ever wanted and He will move heaven and earth for one of His members to return home and join in the celebration.

He gave the greatest gift of all. His son so that we might be saved from ourselves as well as the enemy. This proves He will do whatever it takes to bring you back into the kingdom. Join the family reunion today. It will totally change your life and guarantee you a seat at the wedding.

Come feast at His table and be filled. Drink what He has to offer and you will never thirst again. One day, His family will be a powerful family and will shake the world and we will find you and bring you back to the party even if you hit the highway or the bi-way.

You are loved. You are needed. Our family isn't complete without you, and the Father is sending you a personal invitation to experience His love for you. For you see, there isn't anywhere He won't go. There isn't anyone He won't send, just for you. He loves you that much.

God Bless.

100 Days of Scriptures of Encouragement: Day 27

Hebrews 13:5

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

He, Jesus Christ, Lord and Savior, King of Kings, part of the Trinity, soon coming King, says He will never leave me or forsake me.

What a promise. What a promise for today. In this world of craziness, I need to meditate on this morning, noon, and night. I need to let this promise resinate deep within my soul so when trials and tribulations come, I will immediately know my King is with me.

He said He will never leave me no matter what. I don't know about you, but my trials take a toll on me. I need to encouragement every day, every hour, every minute, every second to get through the day and the days ahead.

The world has gone mad. Shootings in movie theaters and in colleges and any where people dare to gather, I need reassure that when I leave me home, I don't leave alone but someone is walking beside me, talking to me, guiding me along life's path.

God, I need Him, and I'm going to let Him know just how much by talk to Him, thanking Him for all that He has done, being obedient when He tells me to do something, and by loving on Him every breath I can.

Doesn't He deserve at least that? After all, He has promised He would never leave Him even if I choose to walk away. He will be waiting for return and welcoming me back into His arms.

Indeed, He deserves the glory, the honor, and the praise that should sing from my lips every time I walk back inside my door after a long day in the world. The world doesn't hold anything for me, I just want my friend who loves me and is waiting for me to acknowledge His very essences and presence in my life, my home, and in my every day life.

God Bless.

100 Days of Scriptures of Encouragement: Day 26

Deuteronomy 7:9

Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

Indeed He is God. A good God. A faithful God. No one is learning to believe that than me. I have been threw some pretty tough things lately and He, my I Am has been there for me. He has shown me mercy and a love so great I'm still trying to comprehend.

Great is thy faithfulness, O Lord. Great is thy love, O Lord. Great is are You in all things and in everything. Thank you for no longer being mad at us. Thank You for sending Your son to die for us. Thank You for keeping Your end of the deal. Thank You for not giving up on us. Thank You for Your mercy that is new every morning.

Thank You for caring about the next generation. Thank You for keeping Your promises to me and my children for a thousand years. Thank You for never allowing Your love to fade on me and my family and my families family.

Great indeed is thy faithfulness. Indeed You are God and I praise you for all You have done to save a lost and dying world.

God Bless.

100 Days of Scriptures of Encouragement: Day 25

Psalm 18:19

He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.

Did you know that God delights in you? Did you know He believes in you more than you believe in yourself? Did you know that God loves you that He sent His own son to die for you?

Did you know God is someone you can trust? Did you know that God is someone you can run to with all your problems without fear of being laughed at? Did you know that God will never gossip on you? Did you know He's like the perfect secret brother? Did you know that He is a big God and able to do above and beyond what you can see and think?

Did you know that He enjoys giving you the desires of your heart? Did you know that He's the perfect Father? Did you know that He's nothing but good? Did you know that He rules over His enemy's as well as your own? Did you know there is no one you want better on your team? Did you know He is the perfect adventure? Did you know He is waiting to be your superhero?

You can trust Him. He will will bring you out of the biggest storms of your life whether He has to walk on water or by just telling the waves peace be still. He loves you with a love that is eternal. He will give you the strength you need to cross over to the other side and equip you with the essentials you need to walk through hell and back without smelling like smoke. He is an awesome God. He wants you as part of His family.

Why does He cry out and long for you and speaks to you in the night and in the morning and throughout the day? Why does He send people cross your path to talk with you about Him or save you from a unpleasant situation? Why does He use people to annoy you and force you to become a better person? Why does He waste all this time on you?

Because He delights in it. It gives Him great joy and pleasure when He sees His creation becoming the person He knew from their mother's womb. Just think, this makes Him touchable. So, go ahead, reach out and touch the Master, He's been waiting for you.

God Bless.

100 Days of Scriptures of Encouragement: Day 24

Romans 8:38-39

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Nothing seperatin from God's love is our goal. We must believe in Him unconditionally. No matter the factors. No matter the storms in life. We must keep pressing on to the high calling of knowing Christ and knowing we belong to Him.

To be able to do that, we must become like Him. We must walk like Him. We must speak like Him. We must walk in the steps of the master. Where His footprints are then that's where we place ours. We must not deter to the left or to the right.

We must walk so close that the dust of our Rabbi gets on our very shoes. We want people to say, "They have been with Jesus and will you take me to your Master." Our cry of the heart has to become for the lost and make them so jealous that they ask us what they have to do to become saved.

We must win this world for our Savior. Without Him, they don't have any hope. It's going to be on us people. Not David, Moses, or even the woman at the well. When we stand before God is going to see crowns being laid at His feet or a list of what could have beens if only we walked a little closer with Him.

Don't let life get in the way of your salvation and the salvation of others. Call upon the Lord and He will walk with you closer than a brother. He will give you what you need to be able to handle life's storms. He will get you the wisdom you need to keep from running when times get hard.

Strive for a closeness like never before and let nothing deter you from your walk with your Friend, Rabbi, Brother, Creator, Savior, and the King of Kings.

God Bless.

100 Days of Scriptures of Encouragement: Day 23

Psalm 65:5

By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea:

If your in a storm, God will speak to you. If your in sin, God will move heaven and earth to draw you close to Him. What ever your circumstances, God hears you, loves you, and is forever drawing you near to Him.

You can't get to far where He can't find you. You can't ge to lost that He won't move on your behalf. He will clear the debris in your life if you let Him.

He will not let anything that isn't good keep you down without some good coming from it. He has solved your enemy crisis by giving His son, Jesus, to die for you and to take back the rights the enemy had over you.

You no longer belong to the enemy but to the living God when you cry out and ask Jesus to come save you and begin the best walk there is. The walk with God where everything is possible and the protection of His hand is mightier than the sword.

Lost at sea? Cry out and keep your eyes open, you just might find a man who walks on water coming with a life vest to take you to the other side to live with Him.

God Bless.

100 Days of Scriptures of Encouragement: Day 22

James 4:8

Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

All you have to do is cry out to Him and He will come running. There will be no stopping you. He will help you cleanse what needs to be cleansed, clean out your hearts, and deal with that nasty mind of yours.

It's the mind that gets you in trouble and it's the mind that wants you to take up residence. You can't serve to masters. You like to try but believe me, it's harder than it looks. '

When you believe what the mind tells you, your defeated and it takes a lot more work to get it switch back over to the side of God's will for your life.

Take every thought captive and stay close to God and you will overcome the world. A personal relationship is the only way a bond can form. Without it, your just an aquiantance living off the occasional voice of your God.

When you are in close broxcimity of God, you know His voice and you have no trouble following His direction because you know that the plans God has for you is to prosper you and for you to be in health and when you are living out the word of God, than no weapon formed against you shall prosper.

So go, get close to the only living God that has loved you from the foundation of the world.

God Bless.

100 Days of Scriptures of Encouragement: Day 21

1 Corinthians 2:9

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

God has nothing but good things for us His children. Don't believe everything you hear or read. He's not out to punish you, condemn you because you did something wrong. That has all been taken care of by Jesus.

So the only thing left is for Him to pour out His goodness on you. If your not recieving His goodness or are not moving in His plans, check yourself at the door. It's you. It's not God. He didn't take your baby, He didn't make you get a divorce, He didn't cause you to lose your job.

You have an enemy and because God knows you have an enemy, He gave yousome tools to help with life problems. It's the word of God. View, read it, meditate on it, and live by it. Add a little something to it by beleving God loves you and wants nothing but good for all His children.

Trust Him, obey Him, and live by faith. That's God's way and His way is oh so much better. When life throws you a lemon, take it to God, and watch Him make His lemonade that will be sweeter than anything you could have come up with on your own.

God loves you, believes in you, and is waiting on you to feel the same way about Him.

God Bless.

100 Days of Scriptures of Encouragement: Day 20

Psalm 138:8

The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.

His mercy is forever and it's new every morning and he promises to continue to work in me until I'm without spot or wrinkle in His sight. What more can I ask for?

Nothing. Nothing beats His mercy. Nothing beats His grace. Nothing beats His presence, and nothing beats His power.

Without mercy we would be done for. I would be done for. I would have been struck down without His mercy. The best part is that He's not angry any more. At anyone. Jesus took God's angry on Himself when He hung from a tree.

All I need to do is acknowledge what Jesus did, recieve His mercy, let God work in me, and then let Him move through me to others. Easiest three step plan out there.

The hardest part is me. I'm the problem. I get in the way when I don't recieve His mercy and I fight Him while He is trying to take me from glory to glory.

It is never Him but always me. If I don't see mercy and God's hand working in my life than I'm the blockage and I need to high-tail it to the cross and get it right with my Savior. For it is my Savior that has made it a way for God to even deal with me when I can be so troublesome.

If your in trouble, recieve His mercy. If you have more than what you think you can bear, recieve His mercy. If you think you can't go on one more second, recieve His mercy. There is nothing in this world to big or troublesome that you can't recieve His mercy.

Take it. It's there for the taking. Take as much as you need until you see and feel the change you needed then once you have your fill, don't stop there, let Him finish the work He's begun in you. You will never be sorry. The rewards is eternal, non-stopping, and life changing.

God Bless.

100 Days of Scriptures of Encouragement: Day 19

Psalm 40:5

Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

Speak what the Lord has done and be amazed at really has taken place in your life. It is possible that a notebook couldn't contain all the blessings.

Sure you think now what can I say good about what God has done but once you start speaking, it is a whole different matter. It is possible you will find that you have put all your blessing on a bookshelf and forgetting about them until you start speaking.

Life can get overwhelming but so can God's blessings. His blessings isn't always the big things, it's the small ones that come and go unnoticed until a time comes when you recall them and you say, "now I see how much that small thing that happened ten years ago led me to this big thing today."

Without the small, there can never be a big. So start counting your blessings one by one and look and remember what the Lord has done.

God Bless.

100 Days of Scriptures of Encouragement: Day 18

Hebrews 4:15

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

We have a savior! His name is Jesus. He walked amongest us fully human. He felt what we feel, knows what we know. Seen what we see. He loves what we love even more for if He hadn't, we would all be lost.

Jesus would have never made it to the cross to die for us if He would have stayed human. Rising from the dead to conquer death and the grave would have never been an option. Have you ever wonder what it would have been like if He hadn't done those things?

Total choas. That is what it wold have been. No flowers in bloom, no leaves to change color, no beautiful sunset or sunrises to start the day. Eventually the world would have come to an end much sooner than anticipated.

So yes, He was human but thank God He didn't stay that way. Instead, in His humanness took the burdens and sins of the world and carried them into Godhood. If not for the cross, where would I be? If not for my Savior where would I be? If it were not for the love of God where would I be?

Lost, condemed, searching for the light at the end of the tunnel finding nothing but blackness. Thank you for Jesus for being the perfect lamb, laying down your human life, and picking up and saving mine.

God Bless.

100 Days of Scriptures of Encouragement: Day 17

Psalms 37:37

Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.

Okay ladies, and gentlemen, the clue and the only clue needed as to what to look for in a perfect man: For him to be upright....when he is severing God, he's a man that has peace flowing and where there is peace there is a knowledge that God is control.

It's not about looks, it's not about money. It's about who and where he stands in Christ. Don't marry any one who doesn't believe what you believe.

In fact, strive for someone who is stronger in the Lord because he will be able to carry and help you through your faith walk.

There is nothing more sexier than a man who is after God's own heart. Don't settle for anything less. Trust me, it makes for a long hard road if you go with someone who doesn't see eye to eye with you on things of God.

Men, be upright. Serve God with all your heart, soul, and mind. Let God be God in your life. Let God show you how you are to love your wife and kids. Let God teach you what a real man is. There are women who are hungry to find you and take you home to their mama. You won't be sorry in choosing God's ways.

Don't be an Adam and blame the woman for your woes, be a David who sings and dances for the Lord and wants to build Him a mighty place in your heart. That is all God ever wanted was man's heart.

God Bless.

100 Days of Scriptures of Encouragement: Day 16

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

There are verses in the bible that are self explanitory and needs nothing added to them to understand the whole meaning of the affects it can have on a person's life and Jeremiah 29:11 is one of them.

If you've been a Christian for a period of time, you know this one by heart so go ahead, meditate on it, live it, believe on it, and watch it turn your life upside down.

God Bless.

100 Days of Scriptures of Encouragement: Day 15

Malachi 3:10

Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.

There are a whole lot of things God has to say about money and tithing is one of them. It's not an option. You must do it because you love God and you want Him to move in your life.

Trust me. I have seen the benefits of tithing. Granted, I have a spouse who doesn't believe in it but I do and I tithe what I can and from my tithes alone came a job for my husband who has been out of work for three years, house payments caught up, bills being paid that couldn't have been paid otherwise and God is moving in the lives of my family.

It works. Try it and see what God does for you. I would highly recommend getting so help from materials from Bazil Howard-Browne. Bazil is a man of God and I sat under him for seventeen striaght weeks, seven days a week while he taught me the principles on tithing. All I did was put them into practice.

God Bless

100 Days of Scriptures of Encouragement: Day 14

Philippians 4:12-13

I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Without Him, we can do nothing and with Him, I can do all things.

Amen

100 Days of Scriptures of Encouragement: Day 13

1 John 1:9

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Wow! All we have to do to be free from the grips of hell is to say Jesus, I've sinned and fallen short of the glory, please come take my sins and throw them into the depths of the ocean never to be seen again and fill me with Your love and grace and Holy Spirit, give me the power and wisdom to choose life today and we will once again become in right standing with the man upstairs.

No greater love than when someone who has sinned comes to the cross and uses it's power to become whole.

The cross is where we run to when the sins are threatening to over take us and the grace is the path leading us to the blessed Savior and into the loving arms of a Father who is patientently waiting on us to acknowledge we need Him.

And oh, how we need Him. There is none like Him that we must be save. It is by His blood that we have been cleansed and made righteous. It's by the blood of the lamb that the Father can now say, "Come away my beloved and sup with me awhile."

Grace, love, mercy is new every morning and it's ours for the taking if we only confess and believe. Try it. Love it. Live by it. Tell others of it and watch as your life becomes the very vessel He needs to move amongst nations.

God Bless.

100 Days of Scriptures of Encouragement: Day 12

Proverbs 13:11

Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase

We should not work for the money, we should have money work for us. Although personally, I have yet to get this to work to the fullest, however, I do have it working partly.

I believe what we should labor in is knowing God's words and His ways, and walk in His wisdom at all times.

It boils down to what we love more....money or the God who made us for others. So the question today is choosing whom you will serve this day....Money and Man or the God of this universe.

May we choose wisely because a who lot of people are waiting to see who we will serve.

God Bless.

100 Days of Scriptures of Encourgement: Day 11

Psalms 56: 3-4

What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. 4 In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.

Trust is the backbone of a Christian's walk. Without it, we don't have a leg to stand on and our witnessing is for nothing.

Everything we do and say is because we have a deep trust in what we believe. There is nothing else for us.

To call yourself a Christian but you don't believe that God can heal, provide, or calm your life seas is a slap in the face to the one who created the universe.

I didn't say trust was easy for there are tims when things happen in your life that makes you question your insanity but there is one thing you can always count on: trusting in a God who knows you inside and out and still loves you with a love that breaks all barriors.

When you have trust you have no fear and where there is no fear, love has the ability and means to move.

The Christian life boils down to one thing: trust. Without out it, your being tossed about on the sea of life with no means of finding land.

God Bles.

100 Days of Scriptures of Encouragement: Day 10

Ephesians 3:17-19

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Love really is the key to everything. According to the word, you must be grounded in it, it must be deep within you, it's the answer to dealing with others, and we must have knowledge of it.

We can't have or do or be anyone without it. It's the end all the ends all. It's the beginning and the end just like Jesus.

The word also states that the Father is love, everything He does is for love, and through love. What greater love is there than knowing the love of the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost.

I can think of no other. The only thing we are required is quite simple: we must have it, feel it, know it, and share it....Love. The power that can stop the words of an angry man. It can stop a person from a crime of epic porpotion, it can calm the seas, and open the eyes of the blind.

We can live without it. We shouldn't except anything less than it. We should leave a leagecy of it for future generations to live by it.

Love it's your greatest weapon.

God Bless.

100 Days of Scriptures Encouragement: Day 9

Romans 8:15-16

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

Thank God for adoption. Without it, where would we be? Kids wouldn't have a home, parents who desperately wanted children but couldn't have them wouldn't expereince the thrill of holding a child in their arms without adoption. Not to mention how adoption reaches other parts of the world by allowing US citizens to adopt thier nation born child.

I can honestly say going through some form of adoption myself, I am deeply greatful for the relationships that have came my way. Adoption is a form of freedom that has been given to us and the only thing we need to do to be qualified for it is to believe on the Son of God.

Without recieving of who He is, we would be strangers in the land of sojurn. Going to and fo looking for a place lay our heads, our prayers being totally going unheard, and the cries of many who are lost without the sense of hope, much like the world today.

We need to wake up and take full advantage of who we are and who we belong to. We belong to the Son of God who created the heavens and the earth whereby nothing is impossible.

We need to wake up and not apologize for who we are being the Spirit that is living in me wants to live in others. We need to hit the highways and byways and let people know about our adoption papers for if not, one of these days, we will stand before the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords and answer for why we didn't share the good news.

We are resposible for the people of the world and there is no way I want to stand before the throne of God and here the words, "Depart from me, I never knew you."

The most exciting thing is that my adopted father has room for so many other children and the only thing he ask of me is go tell them the good news: they've been adopted, come on home.

God Bless.

100 Days of Scriptures Encouragement: Day 8

Psalm 50:15

And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

Who could be better to call on when trouble arises than the very person who created the earth? Jesus. His name is above all names and His name calms the storms of life. There is no other name on the face of the earth like His name. He has many other names but none is more important than the other. We need them all. We need Him to be what we need at any given time and I can think of no greater joy than calling on His name, knowing He will deliver me.

The only requirement is that I give Him glory for what He has brought me through. So little price to pay for all that He has done for me. Sometimes I forget when I'm in the storm and through the storm but my heart cries out in remembrance of what He did for me.

If it weren't for my heart, I'd be lost. For my heart stores up all things and remembers all things and I thank God that it cried out to the name above all name...Jesus Christ who came into my heart and is now living in me and I am the one who stifles His name within my life.

I forget that without Him, I would be nothing and by Him, I have an eternal home, and for Him, I will try to reach the lost, because there are others in the world who are in trouble and need to hear about the name that can save and deliver them and in that, Jesus will receive all the glory.

God Bless.

Hot

I don't know about where your living at, but where we are, it's hot. It's over 100 degrees out. I could talk about global warming and all the other things, but I want to focus on something else. A subject that rarely gets mentioned but plays a vital rule now and in the days to come.

HELL. Whether you believe in hell or not, it's not the issue. Just for kicks and giggles, believe in hell like I do.

Picture it: A place so spooky and miserable and hot. Very hot. Hotter than what parts of America is experiencing now.

There is no water in hell, here it's a luxury as we pull it from our sinks or refrigerator. There is bugs crawling on you at all times that seem to bite and eat on you without you having the ability to get rid of them. Unlike where you live. We have some form of getting rid of unwanted creatures whether it be a fly swatter, bug spray, or anything you can roll up and can take a hit and splash the creature in question.

It's noisy all the time. You can't get any relief from the screaming coming from others. Unlike now, you can plug your ears with headphones or drown out the screaming by turning up the radio. There is no one around, no family members to bother you, no friends calling you to ask and see if you can come out and play at the next party.

There is no drugs to relieve you of the pain you are in. Your body is on fire. There is no firemen to come and put out the flames. Your in jail and the guards are tormenting you all the time. Your constantly in solitary confinement and your crime? Not believing in the Lord of Lords and the Kings of Kings.

You've turned your back on His whispering. He's been calling your name every second and every hour and every day that you walked the face of the earth. He was waiting for you to respond to His invitation to His wedding and the reception that follows for all eternity. You've declined saying you had other things to do and He let you.

You've never seen His tears as you walked away never to look back again. Nor have you seen Him pray to the Heavenly Father on your behalf. "Just one more day, Father. Today could be the day they choose life."

You didn't see His mercy as He saved you from a plane crash, a car accident, or from the bully down the road. However, your mouth and the words that came out of it was what sealed your fate.

You didn't see His grace as you blamed Him for your problems in your life but He looked ahead and saw you and your future and counted it all joy to die for you and in His death, he conquered your problems and all you had to do was to walk in the promises He gave you through His word.

You didn't see your love because your hate was to great and now, your burning in a fire that can't be put out. Your fate sealed for all eternity. You thought it was hot while you walked on earth, but now it's excruciating. But that isn't the worst of it all, you've been separated from God and when He sees you on that final day, the only words He can say is "Depart from me, I never knew you." Your heart is going to break. Your tears are going to flow once more uncontrollably, unstoppable. You are going to realize your mistakes and there is no fix in sight. Your going to be pulled into the lake of fire and join the most evilest creature that ever roamed the planet. He's going to be your master and you are going to be his servant for he has blinded your eyes from the truth.

My friend, don't let this be you. I am on a daily struggle to see the God of creation and to feel His love for me, and to except the truth that will make me free. It's not easy, but it's worthwhile. I hurt and I let things get in my way, but I'm always in constant expectation of what the Lord is going to do with me.

I love Him. I want to serve Him. I need Him. He's the lover of my soul. He's my comforter. He's my healer. He's my provider, and one day, He will be the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords to the earth and the universe and when I stand before Him will I be perfect in my walk? No, but I'm going fall on my knees and worship Him and imagine no more what eternity is going to be like for I will be walking into it with my best friend, Jesus Christ right beside me.

God Bless.

100 Days of Scriptual Encouragement: Day 7

Hewbrews 13:5-6

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,
“Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you.”

6 So we say with confidence,
“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?”

I have sat under an Evangelist for over six months and I can assure you, it's the love of money that's the issue. God doesn't care if you have money or the best as long as your willing to use some of it for His glory and kingdom.

God doesn't want you to be afraid either. He loves you and according to His word, love conquers all. Not only does love cover it, but God promises to never leave you or forsake you. Do you know of another person who promises that? I don't.

I don't want to disappoint God by not taking Him at His word. So, I will determine to give freely and to live in constant state of love because I know there is someone who will never leave me nor forsake me and I want to share my wealth with others.

God Bless.

100 Days of Scriptual Encouragement: Day 6

Joshua 1:9

9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Now, I don't know about you, but this one is a toughie for me. I know it, I just don't follow through with it.

I can easily be discouraged and I question God all the time as to find out where He is and why I can't see Him or He doesn't talk to me, and why do I have to go through this? "Where are you God" seems to be thought and said at least a thousand times a day from me.

I need this scripture to hang in every crack and cranny of my home. I need to meditate on it, let it soak deep within my soul and let it resinate in my very being.

When things hit, I should immediately think of Joshua 1:9. I should stand strong, and know, that God is with me wherever, whenever, and however I need Him to be in all matters of life.

Won't you join me?

God Bless.

100 Days of Scriptual Encouragement: Day 5

2 Timothy 2:19

Or which I am suffering even to the point of being chained like a criminal. But God’s word is not chained.

God's word is freedom and where there is freedom, there is liberty. God wants us to be free and we long to be free. I don't know about you, but I'm tired of being chained like a criminal and the sufferings I have endure has been quite enough for me, thank you.

I feel like I'm the only personon the face of the earth who is going through something. NO one understands me and amazingly, NO one wants to come to my pity party. I'm all alone to work out my salvation and thank You, Jesus that you are the living word, and by the Holy Spirit, I can now understand what I'm to do with any given situation.

Indeed the word of God is a lamp unto my feet as it leads me to still waters, and brings me to my knees in front of the King of Kings and the Lord of Lord's who died for me and my rights to be free.

Not only am I living in a free country, but now, I have the right to live free indeed in any thing I set my hands to because, my feet are planted on the rock that the builders rejected and I am eagerly awaiting the ending to His words where He will come back for me and I will live forever in His presence.

God Bless.

100 Days of Scriptual Encouragement: Day 4

Proverbs 10:28

The prospect of the righteous is joy, but the hopes of the wicked come to nothing.

We continue to hear about the joy. I've experienced it, loved it, and realized I need it to make it through most days.

I need something to hold onto these days. Sure we live in the land of freedom but for how much longer? We have things and gadgets but what are they doing to our quality of life?

I don't want the hopes of the wicked to rule and reign anymore in America. I want this scripture to come to pass. Where the wickedness comes to nothing and God and His joy reigns supreme.

There is nothing like His joy on the face of the earth. No gadgets, no parties, no want-to-be-superstars can hold a candle to it.

Joy is our strength in the every situation. It's a need that we should have to be filled with it. Joy takes away sorrow, brings out the best in everyone, and doesn't care who you are. Joy should be a way of life for us.

Won't you try it now? Laugh a little. You might like it.

God Bless.

100 Days of Scriputal Encouragement: Day 3

Psalms 36:5

New International Version (NIV)

Your love, Lord, reaches to the heavens,
your faithfulness to the skies.

There is a song that uses this first in it. It is called "Your Love Oh Lord" Wonderful song. I can't help but think we really don't understand the words we sing. Think about it. If we understood the meaning behind every thing we say and sing, I have to wonder if w would be a little more choosy.

"Your love, Lord" His love is greater than we can imagine and more wider than we can see, and more than anything else we may have need of.

"Reaches to the heavens" could this be the only way the Psalmist knew how to express it? For my bible and believes are that God's love is infinite and beyond words and measure and love is the only thing God is made of.

"Your faithfulness (reaches) to the skies." Again, could this be the only way he knew how to express what he was feeling about God's faithfulness?

It seems to me, this psalmist had an encounter with the Living God and he tried to express it in the way he knew how. We too should take a lesson from this. We need to mediate on this scripture and get it deep down in our hearts for when the trails comes, this passage of scripture rises to the top and we too break out in song of adoration to the God of heavens, the Lord of Lords, and King of Kings.

Maybe this will be your song of praise:

Your love, oh Lord
Reaches to the heavens
Your faithfulness stretches to the sky
Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains
Your justice flows like the ocean's tide
I will lift my voice
To worship You, my King
I will find my strength
In the shadow of your wings

God Bless.

100 Days of Scriptual Encouragement: Day 2

1 John 4:18

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment.  He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

Fear is all around us. Every day and in most cases in every way. You can't go to the store without something happening these days and who knows when the next terrorist attack will be and where. Things are rapidly spiraling out of control and fear is becoming the norm.

Television doesn't help kicking the fear thing, going to the doctor is no longer just a shot in the butt for there is all kinds of possibilities it's going to be bad news behind exam room #1.

Yet, God tells us not to fear. We shouldn't fear what is going to happen today and we shouldn't fear about what is going to happen tomorrow for it's not guaranteed. The only thing we are promised is that God loves us unconditionally and even more so if we are His.

For He so loved the world. That's the key. He loves. He gave. Another key. His Son to die for the sins of this world. Jesus is our Savior, Healer, Revealer, He's all that and a box of chocolate. He's the only way. He's the truth and the light and no one comes to the Father but through Him.

We need to accept Him. We need to study Him. We need to obey Him. We need to walk where He walk and talk they way He talked and love the way He loves and watch the world take a different form. A form of love.

A love that knows no bounds or no ends. Only a beginning and the beginning of His love starts by acknowledging Him and what He did for you and for me. He's perfect and has the perfect love for us in any given situation. All we need to do is reach out and take a hold of it.

Need encouragement: Perfect love is Jesus, accept Him as your Savior and watch the fear being replaced with a love so grand that we will only thirst more for it. You don't have to do a thing to achieve it, just believe on the One that died for your sins.

God Bless.

100 Days of Scriputal Encouragement: Day 1

Isaiah 30:15

For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.

Now I don't know what the and ye would not mean but I do know that if the Jews return to Israel they would be save and rest would be on them along with confidence.

Okay, maybe I don't know anything about this scripture but what I do know that if we return to our first love, Jesus Christ, who is the Messiah, Ruler over heaven and earth, and we are secure in our salvation; believing on Him, telling people about Him, and obeying Him, then just maybe that during our trails and tribulations, we can rest easily know it will be okay because our faith is not in the circumstances but on the One who can solve them.

I don't know about you, but I need rest, confidence, and the faith that I will be saved from my trails. I long to have an unshakable faith in any given circumstances. I am not there yet, not even close.

What I do know is that I am continuing to press towards the mark of the high calling He has for me and one day when the trials and tribulations are over, He will say "well done thou good and faithful servant for you rested in my presence, having the confidence that I would save you during your life's trials."

Need encouragement today? Then rest in the confidence that God is going to save you from whatever you face and bring you threw to the other side stronger than ever before.

God Bless.
